5. Alexis Ren vs Emily Ratajkowski (Queen of the Ice Hotel)

Alexis:

BEFORE:
“Hmph. Who needs the stupid Lightweight belt when you can be QUEEN OF THE ICE HOTEL, baby!?”

Alexis putting on a brave face just days after her second defeat to rival Anllela Sagra, who’s again bested her, this time for the number one contender spot for the Lightweight crown. Of course, she's never gonna admit that she lost, content with turning up the heat on fellow stablemate Emily Ratajkowski, who has a real shot at stealing her other crown tonight. 

“Like hell she will,” Alexis growling back at the reporter's question. “Emily’s a fellow Vixen, but that doesn’t mean I have to f*cking like her. In fact, I was laughing my ass off backstage when her ass got handed to her by Claire Holt last month. So no, I don’t think she’s even in my league.”

“Famous last words, Alexis,” Emily cutting in from across the table, pouty lips turned upwards into a smirk as she glances over at her fellow stablemate. “You know what I think of when I look at you? A BIG baby who whines about not getting her way. That’s why you lost to Sagra, and that’s why you’re gonna go down to my fists tonight.”

Looks like Alexis is making friends wherever she goes, isn’t she? First was a campaign against Alyssa Lynch, and now another rivalry might be brewing between both these two girls, who’ve each made their claims to fame by stripping down for the cameras. Here they go again at the podium, in nothing but fur coats, as they WHIP each other’s head to the side with nasty SLAPS once in range, handshakes for the cameras exchanged for open palms and fingernails off faces. 

Girls have to be separated by both trainers, led backstage kicking and screaming, Kate Beckinsale looking thankful and relieved on stage once this last fight of the evening wrapped up, shaking her head and letting out a big sigh of relief. Hell, this is what VIX events are all about!

In the ring later on, Alexis with nothing but a pink fur coat wrapped around her neck and shoulders, covering up parts of her upper torso but not leaving much to the imagination. She’s donning white gloves and making ready in corner. Emily decked out in a lion’s fur jacket as well, draped over both shoulders and exposing lots of cleavage with that toned midriff. She’s wearing red gloves to this fight. Referee waves his hand and HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action! This here’s for the Queen of the Ice Hotel Championship!

ROUND 1:
Don’t be fooled by the amount of ice surrounding the enclosure - these two immediately start sweating once they get in range of each other, exchanging terse shots to the face and then squealing in outrage that their pretty features might suffer from permanent damage as a result. Alexis has got something to prove as she leads the charge forward, nails Emily on the cheek more than thrice in the first minute of them circling like jealous hawks. Ren just firing away lefts and rights, forcing Emily to cover her face a little more, backing away, before Ratajkowski herself scores off the lips with a jab-jab combo. They circle back, again searching for an opening. It should be said that these two have never properly sparred before in the VIX gym (what with Alexis Ren sort of an isolationist b*tch - her teammates’ words, not mine), and therefore neither one really knowing what to expect. Well, Emily’s in for another rude surprise towards the final seconds as the Ice Queen jumps in with another right cross, crashing into the arms and driving Emily backwards, almost into the ropes. In the end, Ren winning this one based on clear aggression, though both girls have scored some painful shots throughout.

ROUND 2:
Here they both come again towards the center, and with both girls both possessing egos big enough for ten women each, you know there’s bound to be fireworks set off at this encounter. Emily this time not wasting any preamble, SWIPES a hard right clean into Alexis’ face as she comes sailing in, earns a loud grunt from her lips for her troubles, but then takes a low thud to the tummy as Ren also preparing something nasty for her teammate in turn. Girls continue slamming gloves into each other’s face and body for a good thirty seconds, each yelp or grunt travelling all the way up to the rafters. Emily exclusively targeting the Ice Queen’s head, so arguably doing more damage as she knocks the blonde about from left and right. Alexis eats another hook to the cheek and is forced to concede this close quarters battle, scampering backwards with arms protectively locked over face, and just in time to block Emily’s rapid jabs that sail in after her. Ratajkowski fans ROARING from the seats as their chosen model gets the better of that last exchange, seeing Ren’s full-on retreat as nothing but a sign of weakness. Bell rings soon after, however, and true enough, Emily takes this round by a small margin, though we wouldn’t say she emerged totally unscathed. 

ROUND 3:
One round a piece and we’re already seeing a slower start to round 3. Both girls still making a beeline towards each other, but Ren sailing in fast with two jabs before getting out of the way of Emily’s return fire. We’ve definitely seen this tactic in the blonde’s arsenal before, and she’s become quite the expert on hit-and-run warfare - jumping in to deliver blunt force trauma on the face and body, before disappearing into thin air and taking none of that thing called responsibility. Shame on her, if it weren’t working so well. Emily eating up lots of damage, can’t quite score the same punches back on the blurry blonde. Ratajkowski forced back into defensive mode, arms locked over the head as she absorbs the punishment, but Ren’s jabs simply slam in south to that ripped tummy of hers, banging repeatedly on those toned, washboard abs unabated. Emily can’t quite take much more of this, and she opts to take a Hail Mary swing the next time Alexis comes sailing in - it has desired effect of stunning Ren by hitting her hard on her guard, long enough for Ratajkowski to exact some punishment in the form of a left-right uppercut snapped into the blonde’s body, before Ren’s own chin gets grazed by a third upwards swing. Ren can’t hope to keep this tactic of hers sustained forever, but she looks satisfied enough on her way back to corner at having taken the third round wide.

ROUND 4:
Some definitely said before that Ms Ren doesn’t respect her opponents that much. Hell, it’s part of her personality to do so. She puts words into action here by charging forward again, thinking that Emily’s too dumb to adapt otherwise to her tactics. Needless to say, it doesn’t go well for the Queen. Emily being patient in the first minute, using both arms to block or parry her teammate’s jabs. Alexis still jumping in and out of the pocket, oblivious to the fact that she’s not landing as many shots as before. Reality only sinks in when Emily times a right hook BLAST across her chest right after Ren sailed in and tried jabbing at her head, the impact of which stops the champion dead in her tracks, a look of shock on her face as one hand flies downwards to cover the injured body part. Ren’s face SWIVELLED to the side as another Emily-hook comes sailing in, and the Queen goes flying off into the ropes! UGHH emitted from Ren’s lips as Emily packs her glove into the blonde’s belly over and over, folding her over in half as she covers up desperately with her back on the ropes, trying not to go down. Ren getting ransacked in there, has to hold on for another minute of this abuse. Third blow into the tummy leaves her groaning and pinned to the ropes, falling into Ratajkowski’s arms. The cameras catch Emily smooching her lips in her rival’s face, before bashing another hook into Alexis’ dumbfounded cheek, and DOWN THE QUEEN GOES TO CANVAS!!

What a display of dominance for Emily Ratajkowski, who parades around the blubbering Ren like she’s nothing of note. Alexis never looking so out-matched like the present, strands of blonde hair hanging dishevelled over her face as she sputters and tries to rise back up slowly. She still has plenty of fans in the audience, however, chanting out her name as she manages to recover eventually by the count of 8, hands still hugging her tummy and wheezing as she catches her breath. What a round!

ROUND 5:
Ratajkowski establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with, coming forward as eagerly as before and chopping more punches towards Ren’s head. Alexis still catching her breath, in no mood to brawl after what just happened last time. She defends well enough, blocking most of punches and even slapping leather into the brunette’s pretty face once or twice, drawing loud gasps from her challenger to the throne. Emily thinking the blonde might be a cakewalk, now surprised by Alexis’ energy leftover. Emily charging at her again in the third minute, stubborn, last-ditch attempt to put her opponent away once and for all, but Ren still refusing to engage with her face-to-face, jabs sent back to the face in a relentless wave, with the intent to keep her at bay and neutralised. Emily manages to tag a straight combo into Ren’s cheek as a parting f*ck-you gift, but it’s a far cry from her prior dominance.

ROUND 6:
We enter the second half and both animals look wounded and therefore even more dangerous. Emily rushes in early, still trying to push her luck and advantage, but gets her face slammed in when she carelessly lets a left-right combo from Ren slip past her defences, the Queen miraculously meeting her aggression with some of her own. Ren is suddenly back in the fray, sticking her fists into the brunette’s face and then blasting hooks into her body and chest. Emily shellshocked at this sudden resurgence, focus back on defending for a moment before cuffing a hook into Ren’s cheek face for payback. Girls end up in a wild clinch, pushing at chest and shoving gloves into shoulders roughly, and Ren finding herself pinned down to the ropes in the same precarious situation, her tummy getting hammered in by teammate’s leather. Third uppercut buried into her paunch leaves her gasping out loud and writhing more spectacularly in Emily’s arms, a familiar place just like last time. Emily however not seizing the chance to secure another knockdown, instead gingerly slipping her hand in between them, shoving Ren’s fur bikini top out of its pesky way, before FLATTENING the Ice Queen’s orbs in blatant disregard for her wellbeing! How about that! This fight’s turned into an all-out JMD contest all of a sudden as Ren groans and squeals out loud, her assets swiped and hooked at by a devilish Ratajkowski’s right hand. Alexis with a face filled with reckless hatred, however, gritting her teeth and then BLASTING her forehead into Emily’s, in another illegal move. Emily lurches backward from the headbutt, suddenly dazed, and it has the desired effect of letting Ren loose from the hold. Fire and brimstone in the champion’s eyes as she rips her fists back into the brunette, slamming a right hand into the cheek and then an uppercut stacking her upwards upon impact with the jawline, before barreling into her midsection with lefts and rights RAMMED in with malice. It’s a miracle either girl hasn’t gone down by this point of time, when the bell rings to signal the draw that is the sixth round!

ROUND 7:
These two REALLY don’t like each other, do they? Maybe they *should* have another sparring session or two back in the gym and broadcast it LIVE to the world. People’d certainly pay good money to see these two Instagram models bash each other around. Emily still shaking her head in a slight daze as she comes out of corner, when that famed Alexis-Ren-aggression suddenly finally manifests itself in a blazen CHARGE! Locked and loaded her fists are as Ren shoots in jabs from afar, using Emily’s arms and body for target practice before going all-out with hooks sent crashing into the brunette’s arms! Emily’s turn to groan and retreat, but she’s still managing to hang in there for now. Another clinch up in the middle minute, this time initiated by Ratajkowski, frustrating Ren to no end when she finds herself wrapped up again with no targets to hit. Emily even controlling her backwards, one arm snaked around the back of the neck, the other around the blonde’s chest, whilst Ren is doing the opposite, shoving her gloves repeatedly into the body and chest, trying to knock her the f*ck off. Ren eats a sudden stiff glove to the cheek up high, GROWLS back and shoves Emily backwards with all the force she can muster. Emily’s turn to get pinned with her back to the ropes, her entire body wavering on shaky legs as she weathers another onslaught of punches crashing in for the final few seconds. Ren almost jumping on her like a Body Splash SPLAT, taking the wind out of Emily’s lungs, then not hesitating to pump more fists into the toned belly in order to ensure Emily’s last gasps of air 100% evicted. Ren smirking now, knows she’s back in control, cheekily returning the favour with one glove yanking hard at Emily’s elastic fur top, trying to get the fabric the hell outta the way before flattening the poor girl’s assets with her free glove. Ratajkowski almost delirious as she shrieks out in pain, fists banging wildly on the side of the head and body, but powerless to do anything with Ren pancaking her into the ropes. Referee finally breaks it up when the bell rings, and both the girls are physically torn asunder, still kicking and screaming as they head back to corners. Looks like we’re in for the long haul, folks!

ROUND 8:
It’s definitely a toss-up between these two as we enter the eighth. Could it be Alexis is still reeling from that spectacular defeat at the hands of Anllela Sagra, just two weeks ago? The Queen refusing to believe that fact, and meets Emily midway to resume swinging at her head. It’s already the eighth and something’s still fueling their determination to win this fight. Emily in particular is taken swipes at the belly, looking to break her rival in half with an already-bruised midsection, but Ren powering through the abuse (yet not without some loud grunts), LASHES at Emily’s face with a series of hooks left right left, sending her reeling off in pain, eyes squeezed shut! Desperate arms trying to block Ren’s subsequent swings, but the Queen is on top of her case every step of the way, manages to slip under Ratajkowski’s radar before blasting her head skywards with another uppercut to the chin! OUCH! Emily simply crumpling down to canvas, her entire body going limp from that ONE shot! She’s left as a blubbering mess at Ren’s feet, legs crossed over and upper torso sprawled out front, butt hanging in the wind, as the referee takes one look and declares it over!

Official Decision: Alexis Ren defeats Emily Ratajkowski via KO8! Alexis is STILL the Queen of the Ice Hotel!

AFTER:
Vindication for the blonde girl as she manages to put away another potential challenger to her perch. The bitter memory of getting knocked out by Sagra still weighing on her mind, however, and already rumours are swelling that Odds and Ends' Courtney Taylor might be looking to challenge for the title at some point in the future. 

For now though, Ren cementing her win by reaching down and laying both hands on Emily’s hair, not waiting for her protests before tossing her clean out of the ring, where she lands with a hard SPLAT on the icy floor. Emily groaning, squirming, getting consoled by Co-Head Trainer Corey Saucier, who rushes to her side with the medics, whereas Alexis is escorted from the ring by Kate Beckinsale lest she decides to humiliate her fellow stablemate further. 

Emily sure put up a good fight, but for now, her dreams of validating herself as a legitimate title contender have to be put on hold yet again!
