Oddman certainly started off the year with a great card. It was a card that is going to set the standard for the year. For me, not so good. I was wrong in my predictions in the first four bouts, but recovered to be correct in the last five, but the correct ratio is unacceptable

I thought that Gibbs would beat Tailor, Wrong! She lasted less than four.

Even though she has a winning record, I am not a fan of Ratajkowski. Mitchell had an excellent 2016. I figured she would start off 2019 the same way. Wrong again. Ratajkowski won in six. It was an impressive victory.

Kostek continues to impress with her win over Rohrbach. I had dropped Rohrback out of the top ten lightweights just hours before this bout. She has now lost her last three, but admittedly to good opponents

The big surprise of the night to me was Lowndes getting beaten. I have to admit I have no idea who Miss Mawby is, and I didn’t dream she would win this bout. Over the last two years Lowndes has become as average fighter. Once, management's favorite, she is clearly now, not the best fighter in the stable

I have Lima ranked at seven in the lightweights. Her win over the unranked welter was expected. Krsmanovic started 2019 the way she ended 2018, knocked out. She now has lost six of her last seven conventional bouts. All her losses were to top fighters. She needs to step back a little and try to get her game together

Sagra’s win should get the attention of Winstead. She will not be able to avoid a title bout with her for long without getting some criticism

Hayden Panettiere celebrated be inducted into the Tractorpull Hall Of Fame just hours before this bout. We were happy she won It wouldn’t have looked good if she had lost

Strahovski is back on track with her fourth win in a row as she KOed Gonzales. This could be the year where Strahovski and Sagra dominate the lightweights. That’s not a prediction

Finally the Ferguson/T. Atkinson bout could well be the fight of the year. It went ten rounds and the continued outside the ring as little attempt was made to break it up. After order was restored it was announced that Ferguson has won on a one point split decision Decisions just don’t happen very often anymore. My guess is it will be one of less than ten in the FCBA this year. Before the fight, we had Atkinson ranked at three and Ferguson at five. You can now swap those positions.  I suspect Atkinson will be looking for a rematch. Will Ferguson roll the dice against Atkinson again?
