TESS VALMORE

The January PPV was a huge card of thirty-six conventional bouts. It was somewhat unusual in that only one title was up for grabs. The four top fights were absolute wars. Michelle Williams successfully defended her flyweight title while Kendal Jenner upset Kate Upton, Jennifer Lawrence shocked with her win over Brooklyn Decker and Amanda Righetti barely managed to hold off the lightweight champion Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Our next rankings are do out at the end of next month. At present, Kendall Jenner looks to claim the number one lightweight spot over the champion. Winstead. Winstead's good showing against Righetti is not enough to off set Kendall’s win. Strahovski, Swift and Kerr should make moves in the rankings

The same is true in the welters. Lawrence, Kerr and possibly Krsmanovic should move up as Upton and Decker move down on their losses. Freeman’s loss may cost her her top ten spot

The flyweight and bantam bouts went pretty much as expected. Top ten flyweights like Cheryl Cole. Emma Watson and Vanessa Hudgens all won their bouts. Panettiere and Portman also won, but it is doubtful if it will get them back into the top ten.

In the top ten bantams, Scodelario, Danes, Kosarin and Lovato all won.  Rachel Adams suffered an upset KO loss at the hands of Claire Holt.  I suspect she will drop out of the top ten and be replaced by Minka Kelly who beat Winnick.  Priyanka Chopra could also move up into the top ten

Stable wise the PPV was a disaster for the Dollhouse whose four best fighters were on the card and they all lost   Foxfire was not much better as the stable lost four of the five fights they were involved in. On the positive side the Vixens batted 100% in winning all of their six bouts .Consortium won four of their five fights as did Girls Friday.
