BEFORE:
Welcome to the MAIN EVENT for tonight’s Doll Ball, where Katheryn Winnick will be facing off against the legendary Sarah Carter, which might be the surest and quickest way for the Doll to get herself a title shot in the not-so-distant future, with Carter herself having challenged Kristen Stewart for the Flyweight straps not barely a month ago, and let’s not forget: Carter comes into this contest as a three-time Unified Flyweight champion and newly inducted Hall of Famer, another huge challenge for the Dollhouse blonde to take on.

"I've been waiting for this fight for a while now,” Katheryn saying with a smile to reporters at the pre-fight press conference backstage. “Sarah Carter has always been a name I've wanted to get in the ring with ever since I started at the FCBA, and she's without a doubt one of the best around. I feel like I’ve finally reached a point where I deserve a shot at her. Don’t you think?” Katheryn poses, smiling at the overwhelming cheers from pretty much everyone in the room. “Emma managed to beat Sarah last year, which was huge for her, but Emma is really good herself, not to mention a lot younger than me. And let’s not forget, Sarah just beat Campbell and Panettiere recently, which tells me that she's still in top shape, unfortunately for me,” Winnick laughs. “It's going to be one of my toughest challenges so far, but I've been training hard for this. I feel like I'm very, VERY ready. But I doubt SHE is… You're going down, Carter!” Kat ending her comments with a well-natured smirk at Sarah, who’s seated at the other end of the press table.

“Oh, I have PLENTY of respect for what Katheryn has managed to accomplish during her brief time in the ring. I ONLY wish this wannabe blonde had the same kind of respect for someone like me, the most recent inductee to the Hall-of-Fame. I mean, just take a look at her record compared to mine. She’s had, what? 27 fights? That’s cute. I’ve had four times as many. I look forward to schooling Kat tonight on what it means to be part of the HoF. I’ll make it clear who deserves an actual title shot, both at Fly AND Bantam, by putting you down for the count tonight, Winnick.”

Carter’s eyes lighting up as she says that last sentence, certainly confident in her own ability to hang and bang with the youngest and brightest in the league, not to mention someone 41 years old. Fortunately for her, Winnick ain’t that different in terms of build and number of years in the life department. As the two women make their way to the center of the stage for the official photo op, apart from the way they look, the similarities between the two blondes are almost striking: Carter with a three-year age-advantage, but at 38, it might not matter as much as she’d like to think. Winnick however, might be packing a little more power in that body of hers, always keeping her body in great shape even at her age. Girls refuse to shake hands (or at least, only Kat makes the offer) before making their way backstage for the final prep.

Later, in the arena, Carter is first down the ramp, looking hella-in-shape whilst dressed in that blue bikini outfit that also turned plenty of heads when she starred as Helena Douglas in that 2006 Dead or Alive movie. She’s wearing matching blue gloves while her hair in a top knot. Plenty of boos inside the arena tonight for tonight’s main event villain, but the blonde Hall of Famer seems to feed off the hate as she smiles cockily and makes her way to the ring with both arms raised, accompanied by both Elizabeth Harnois and Jennifer Garner for this high stakes fight.

Next onto the stage is Katheryn Winnick herself, greeted by the home crowd with a standing ovation. The older blonde is pumped and ready, jumping up and down on the ramp as white pyrotechnics go off all around her. Winnick is dressed in her classic outfit of black and white sports bra and tights with matching gloves, hair up in a messy high ponytail. The Canadian smiles and waves to the fans for a brief moment before finally making her way down the ramp and towards the ring, accompanied by both Carmen Electra and Kristanna Loken.

Inside the ring, both blondes stretching in their respective corners, tightening strings around gloves. Referee starts this Canadian showdown off with an explosive wave of the hand, and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Veteran fighters know a little better, don’t they? None of those crazy stunts from the younger generation who just LOVE rushing forward and getting themselves knocked out in the first minute. Not here - Kat and Sarah circling each other slowly like a pair of lionesses squaring off on the plains of the savanna, fighting for ultimate supremacy and bragging rights. Kat always known for her defensive style, and there’s no exception here, allowing Carter to initiate with jabs at her head, before the Doll fires her own right back. Both ladies exchange fire in the center of the ring before circling out to repeat. Carter begins to roar a little louder in the last minute, thinks she sees an opening and tries rushing at Kat at breakneck speed and a slightly more robust flurry aimed at the Doll’s head. But Katheryn ready and calm, parries a couple and blocks a majority, before scoring back with her fist into the cheek, and then another grazes the chin, sending Sarah a clear message that she ain’t gonna be easy prey. Bell rings and Carter grimacing with a glare as she backs away towards her own corner - a lesson hard-learnt for her as she hands Winnick the keys to this first round.

ROUND 2:
Sarah slightly more cautious here, and Katheryn still acting calculated. The result is barely any action taking place in the first minute, unfortunately for the fans. Don’t get us wrong - it ain’t a diss or anything to the older generation, but there’s some sure-fire excitement to be had whilst watching some of Katheryn’s younger counterparts, like Emma and Avril Lavigne. Winnick however picking up the pace all of a sudden in the second minute, lunging blows at Sarah’s guard, partly to test her defences, partly also wanting to exert some of her own power, which she knows she clearly has an advantage in. Carter shocked to say the least, goes stumbling backwards on more than one occasion from a straight hand landing in the middle of her forearms, but soon enough, begins to predict the pattern and starts dodging and weaving around Kat’s hooks. Instead, the Dollhouse crowd starts groaning as Carter targets Winnick’s body in the interim, side-hooks landing each time the Doll misses. Uncharacteristic of Katheryn to slip up so badly, but if it’s any consolation, she doesn’t look too hurt by the time the bell rings, some throbbing pain on her ribs and sides, but otherwise waving off her trainers’ concern once she’s back in her corner.

ROUND 3:
Carter now rushing forward, eager to continue the brawlin’. The veteran girl resumes shooting her straight hands into Katheryn’s guard, then targeting the body, gleefully pushing the Doll further backwards in what she believes is gonna be another spectacular round for herself. That is, until Kat decides to unleash one hell of a right cross straight into her face, sailing in out of freakin’ nowhere, and stopping the former champion dead in her tracks with a loud HNNGGGHGH!!! Sarah’s face disappearing into leather as the cross-hand connects, and what a sneaky blow it was, with Winnick playing possum this entire round and the previous, thereby allowing Carter to think that she’s easy meat before springing the trap herself! Winnick running forward now, landing more glancing blows into the arms and side of Sarah’s head, with Carter desperately trying to cover up and get back to the safety of dry land. Girls end up in a clinch in the final minute, and surprisingly, Winnick’s the one grunting in frustration when the veteran Carter uses her years of experience in tangling up with other women to bully the blonde back against the ropes, holding her body in place as she takes a much-needed breather herself. The referee separates the two of them a little too late for comfort (Dollhouse personnel should really fire his ass for incompetence), but the damage is done overall: Kateryn only managing to squeak out a small margin of victory this time round, and what could have been a solid knockdown for herself goes up in smoke.

ROUND 4:
Carter tries to capitalise on her unexpected advantage, now playing the aggressor card as she surprises Katheryn with a flood of punches in the opening seconds. Katheryn shocked but not surprised, has some trouble dealing with the multitude of hands coming her way, no choice but to allow some punches to glance off her chin and body, but thereafter manages to contain Carter’s advance with return fire of her own. Second minute and the two blondes keep each other away in this manner, using their respective jab to great effect as they aim primarily at the other woman’s face in order to deter another wild charge from taking place. Winnick returning the favour with a lucky swing into Carter’s tummy later in the round, stunning the actress with a loud grunt, but Sarah managing to get away with murder as the bell rings soon after, taking the round wide for herself.

ROUND 5:
Carter still showing few signs of slowing down, and Katheryn herself looks like she’s able to deal with the blonde’s hit-and-run tactics for now, showing that Winnick still has the stamina of a 20-year-old. Carter crashes into her repeatedly, firing off punches all over her being, without much precision if we may add, barely troubling Winnick as she hunches her body over and covers her head up tightly as this happens. Third such attempt spells bad news for the Foxfire starlet when she gets caught by a well-placed, well-timed right hook that almost TAKES Sarah’s head off on the spot! Carter blocking the blow right at the last minute, but the force of which BLASTS her right back to whence she came from, having rattled her so badly that even her own arms got forced into her mouth by Winnick’s power. Here comes Kat, looking focused and determined to end this now, pounding away at Carter’s face with more jab-jab-hook combos, exclusively blowing hurricanes into her foe as Sarah goes sailing backwards across the ring until the bell rings to save her from a complete drowning.

ROUND 6:
Sarah needs to find a way to counter her counterpart’s power, and she’s already tried using her speed to do it in the past. It only works, however, if Kat plays ball and doesn’t come after her immediately. Unfortunately, that’s not what Winnick chooses to do this time round, storming inwards and without warning, SLAMS another right hook clean into the side of Carter’s head right as the blonde was only midway comin’ out of her corner! The force of the blow disorients her hard, sending Carter stumbling off into the ropes once again. Katheryn gunning after with little mercy, begins burying shot after shot into her body left and right, before swinging both her arms upwards in the same way, blowing Carter’s defences right out of the water! Third such hook BLOWS across her face silly, AND DOWN GOES SARAH CARTER in a blaze of painful glory!

The poor blonde almost looking ragdolled in there as she struggled to keep herself upright, especially in the face of Winnick’s relentless power! Carter literally thrown down to the canvas and onto her side, her entire being wracked in pain as she struggles to even get back up to all fours! Referee counting her out all the way as Katheryn holds her breath in her own corner, the Doll finally releasing a sigh of relief when the ring official waves it off with Carter still groaning on her elbows! It’s over!!

Official Decision: Katheryn Winnick defeats Sarah Carter via KO6!

AFTER:
Crowd rising to their feet as Katheryn puts Carter away in sixth rounds - ANOTHER remarkable feat for this beast of a fighter! Winnick looking absolutely ecstatic as she smiles widely and waves to the fans between heavy breaths. Some surprising cockiness from Winnick after tonight’s win (we suspect because of Sarah's earlier attitude in need of adjustment). Kat high-fiving her fellow teammates in the immediate aftermath, then heads over to the fallen blonde still squirming on the ground.

Towering over Carter and placing her hands firmly on her hips, Winnick taunts the fallen blonde.
“Turns out being in the Hall-of-Fame doesn't actually help you in the ring, huh?" Katheryn rubbing her win in further with a dry chuckle down at Carter’s expense, before turning around and lifting up both her hands into the air with the crowd immediately exploding!

Katheryn with one last victory lap around the ring, giving every single fan a look at the goods before exiting the ring all smiles. On her way out of the ring, Kat is still waving to her fans and smiling for photographs when reporters approach her for some closing comments.

“You know…maybe I don’t have time to make it into the Hall of Fame and all that…but I definitely want to leave my mark on this league, and I think I’m on the right track. Sarah may have underestimated me, and that’s a shame. Anyone who underestimates me will find themselves eating lots’a canvas. Hold this L Carter!” Katheryn laughs. “What’s next? I want another shot at Kelly…and Olsen…and most of all Chopra. Priyanka is a literal BEAST, but I know I can beat her, our next fight will be different, I promise. And then…Lilly, for sure…and maybe the title if I’m lucky enough. I’m hearing Lovato is pretty strong…”. The blonde ends with a wink before turning to leave, high fiving the waiting Kristanna Loken as the two blondes exit the arena to deafening cheers. Another huge win for Winnick to close off the evening, what more could these fans ask for?
