TESS VALMORE

The FNL Sin City Rollers PPV is in for the year. It featured six bouts with the main event which had title match implications.

The first bout featured two fairly new fighters. Rae beat Kubicka in a fight of little importance other than the loss could well have ended Kubicka’s fighting career.

Moretz joins an increasing number of fighters with the reputation of an opponent to choose, when looking for a win. Her knockout loss to Justice was her seventh loss out of her last eight bouts.

If it wasn’t for FNL Rousey would be unemployed as for as the FCBA is concerned. She how has had five bouts, all at an FNL card. She handed Azalea her fifth straight loss and Azalea failed to finish the sixth round for the fourth time in seven bouts.

Day, a winner of a New Blood tournament took on the 43 year old Larter who had had only one fight in the last three years. Of course, she won in a match designed for her to win. I can’t be too critical however, since this was only her fourth fight.

The Bush/M.Kelly fight was a bout between to top twenty bantams. Kelly was the higher ranked of the two. Kelly won by a knockout (how else does one win a fight these days) I don’t think the win will help Kelly or the loss hurt Bush as far as ranking are concerned.

Collins and Lowndes engaged in a bout that could result in a title match. Collins won, but will the win get her the title shot? She just lost a title match in February. Normally, a fighter wouldn’t get two chances so close together, but we have a new champion. Will that make a difference?
