TESS VALMORE

The June Asylum is in the books with Front Street sweeping all six bouts.

Katy Perry chose Jaimie Alexander for this match, which was nothing more than a tune up for her title bout with Swift on the 12th. She took care of Alexander in less than three rounds. Honestly, I could have done a lot better than Alexander.

The big win of the night was Utgaard”s fourth round KO of Romjin. Romjin certainly isn’t the fighter she once was, but she can be dangerous.

McCurdy and Winter both won their flyweight fights, however I think they will gain little from it. Stewart is the top flyweight and has been. When she loses the title, it will change little in the pecking order. I think there is good chance McCurdy won’t survive the cut at the end of the year.

Reinhart beat Johansson for her ninth win in ten fights. Johansson is another that is a shadow of her former self. Her loss to Reinhart was her ninth in a row. It wasn’t that bad of a match up since at nine fights keeps her in the learning stage.

Chloe Bennet took longer than expected to demolish Tessa Thompson. but she remains, as far as I am concerned, the best fighter in Front Street.
