CBAD: Jessica Clements vs Ela Kawalec (Lightweight)

BEFORE:
Jessica Clements last tasting disappointment with a bitter loss against powerhouse Carmella Rose over in the BBU. And tonight, we’re live in the VIXENs Gym and Arena for another CBAD match, and another chance for Ms Clements to extend her winning streak over here in the FCBA.

She faces, however, one of the toughest challenges of her career, against rising star in the division and heavy-hitter, Ela Kawalec. The Polish girl is definitely vying for her own place in the spotlight, with consecutive wins over Kennedy Summers and Jessica Colorado back in 2018.

Girls appear cordial at the press junket, both smiling and looking appreciative for the opportunity to fight again, but hiding their nervousness behind coy smiles and brief remarks.

“After that debacle of mine against Carmella, I wasn't sure that VIX or SIR would invite me back. But here I am, now signed onto the SIRENs. I guess they see something in me after all. And I don't plan on disappointing my fans. Ela can hit hard, and so that’s gotten me a little worried. But my philosophy is if we don’t learn from our mistakes, what’s the point of going on?”

Some wise words from a girl who’s both gorgeous as well. Her opponent, Ela, is a classic blonde with an attitude to boot, smirking from across the table as she responds next.

“I was a little worried about Jessica’s number of fights and her experience in the ring, but at the same time, I’m mostly intrigued. What does this girl have that I f*cking don’t? Then, I realised that I have the power to knock her out, and I plan on using that tonight. She’ll meet the same fate as all the other girls, I’m sure of it.

No flashy entrances here in this arena, and the official referee is already spewing the rules as both girls meet in the center of the ring to start this match. There goes the bell and HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Girls start trading punches to the face immediately as the bell rings, but Ela quickly escalating the confrontation when she blasts a left-right combo straight into the side of Jessica's arms, giving the brunette a taste of her power. Clements a mixed-bagged fighter thus far, sweet combination of speed and power making her a Jane-of-all-trades but a mistress-of-none, gets thrown about in there early by Kawalec's hooks that slam into her guard repeatedly. Clements needs some strategy here if she hopes to stay alive past this round, or let alone ten. She scoots backwards and away from the blonde’s onslaught, but not without taking some damage as Ela follows her with more straight shots to the body. Not the best opening for the Siren as she gets out-boxed by the newcomer. By contrast, Ela looking plenty satisfied with her opening performance as she heads back to her corner with a smile.

ROUND 2:
Clements learning from her mistakes, now keeping a distance as she boxes at Ela's head from afar. Ela still rushing forward, looking to bully, but getting bullied instead as Clements slaps leather into her face repeatedly, racking up points with a couple more shots into the chest just to make her painful point known. Ela's yelping out loud in the middle minute, shocked and surprised that her own hooks are barely landing and wondering why the hell not. Well, she should definitely watch this instant replay during the downtime as it’s all due to Jessica's superior footwork, which is always one step ahead of her rival’s swings. At the bell, Clements taking a satisfying lead that evens the score.

ROUND 3:
First minute and it's the same story as before: Ela rushing forward, hoping to overpower her foe, and Clements taking the high-road and deterring her advance with jabs. Second minute however has Kawalec scoring with a harsh blow to the tummy, then another cross shocks Jessica to the middle of her forearms. Clements stunned as she goes stumbling backwards, this time not of her own volition. Easy pickings for Kawalec thereafter, who rushes forward and TAKES the brunette’s head off with a dastardly right hook! DOWN CLEMENTS GOES!!

Ouch indeed! Clements crashing down onto her side with a THUDD that reverberates throughout the gym. Her face is scrunched as she tries pushing upwards using both her elbows. This might well be Jessica’s first defeat over here in the FCBA if she doesn’t beat the referee’s count. Kawalec, of course, already expecting this certainty, lounging in her own corner with both arms draped over the top rope, as Clements manages to steady herself before the count of 8. Big round for the blonde, who’s looking more and more likely to cross the finish line!

ROUND 4:
Ela trying to get in close to blow Jessica out of the water for good, lunging at her head with hooks galore. But Clements dodging and weaving well, having recovered long enough to deny her any purchases, then snaps jabs her leather gloves back into Kawalec’s face to rack up the points for herself. Ela resetting in her corner after the second minute draws to a close, her nose burning red and lips scowling at the thought that Jessica’s still got some fight left in her. Ela with a more methodical approach, jabs catching Clements to the undefended body before she chooses to unleash her bigger guns. Clements stunned at first, sacrificing her tummy to defend her head. Not the best round for either woman, but at least Clements is starting to find her own sealegs against the blonde’s tide.

ROUND 5:
Clements relying on her expert footwork thus far, but then finding herself cut off when Kawalec swings a left hook, right hook in quick succession, making her swerve awkwardly to one side before getting blown to the arms by the other. Clements flying into the ropes with an OUMPPH, tries clinching up as first instinct when Ela barrels into her with both fists digging into the body. Ela bodying her rival up with elbow and shoulder, then rocking Jess with uppercuts buried into her tummy. Then, the Polish fighter lets out a grunt or two of her own when Jessica bashes her face in with close-range hooks. The girls rotate in the clinch along the ropes for a while, before the referee separates them for the lack of action. Ela dominating in close quarters, as we’ve seen, but can’t really operate as well from a distance. She eats another flurry from Clements for the final time of the round. Jessica slowly but surely wisening as she manages to keep the bull at bay for now..

ROUND 6:
Jessica’s strategy seems to work fine as a deterrent, with Ela repeatedly trying to rush her down but that right hand of Clements’ always getting stuck into her cheek or lips, making the blonde wince and grunt repeatedly. Second minute and Clements reverses course, SUDDENLY rushing Ela down with follow-up flurries to her body and then going for an uppercut to the chin. Ela absolutely clueless as she flails about, stunned by the sudden onslaught, gets her head flung upwards at a painful angle as she’s beaten backwards! Jessica making up for lost time as she pounds more punches into her body, takes opportunistic swipes at her proud chest whilst she’s at it, then ends the rush with a right cross straight into the face! Kawalec left hurt and hugging her sides as her back hits the ropes with nowhere else to go, BUT breathing a sigh of relief when the bell suddenly rings, giving Jess the round by a shutout!

ROUND 7:
Ela still grimacing as she comes out of the corner, her face looking out for bloody murder as she sets both gloves back into fighting stance. Jessica smirking, bouncing left and right as she continues snapping punches into the nostrils with relative ease. It becomes clear that Kawalec’s reaction time has slowed considerably after that last blitz to her being! Ela letting some hooks fly at Clements in between, but only succeeds in scarring her forearms further. The damage she’s taking from Clements far outweighs whatever she’s doing, and a few more hard swipes across the face makes her gurgle and stumble, before a final snap to the middle of the face forces the big Polish girl back and down onto her butt - in a KNOCKDOWN for Jessica Clements!

Ela looking shocked and punch-drunk as she braces her fall with two arms behind her back, her legs splayed out in front as she takes a moment to assess the damage. Clements with no such hesitation, however, pumping her arms as she lets out a victory cry towards the crowd. She’s scored the first knockdown of the evening, but will it be the last? Ela groaning, trying to push those muscles in her body to their last ounce of energy, makes it onto her knees but having trouble willing that battered body to go all the way up… the referee counts Kawalec out to 10 and she collapses back down in tatters! It’s over!

Official Decision: Jessica Clements defeats Ela Kawalec via KO7!

AFTER:
An impressive and important victory for Jess Clements as she puts another blonde down into the dust! Jessica ignoring Ela, trotting back to her corner and celebrating with teammates, Petra Nemcova and Luisana Lopilato, who have turned out just to support the newest addition to the roster.

Ela drenched head to toe in sweat, her long blonde hair disheveled over her face as she’s helped up by the medics. She gingerly makes her way back to corner, body pockmarked and drained by this fight. Perhaps she’ll do better in the JMDD circuit, yes?

“I had her multiple times. Clements can’t eat one of my punches to save her life. The only reason why she won was because I got tired,” Ela later saying to reporters with a red face.

“Oh, sure, blame her own stamina. She’s got one hell of a mean right hook, but I figured that I needed to wither her down with punches from round one. And look where that got me? I’m the freakin’ champion, baby!” Jessica says later, drawing a death stare from Kawalec, who’s already on her way backstage.

These two might definitely meet in the ring in the future!
