Luisiana Lopilato versus Olivia Munn

Luisana:

Olivia:

BEFORE:

“Olivia’s legendary for hitting hard, but I think I can go toe-to-toe with her tonight,” Luisana smiling broadly to reporters before she climbs up the steps into the ring. “I’m gonna use my combination of speed and power to overwhelm her. That’s what’s coming to her, so she’d better be ready!”

“Oh, I’m SO looking forward to this,” Munn responding from across the ring. “Rumour has it that Lopilato’s a big softie both inside and out. A few kisses from these bad babies and she’s gonna go down easy,” Munn holding up her red gloves and giving them a smooch for emphasis.

Despite the strong words, both ladies touch gloves later in the middle of the ring at the command of the referee, before heading back to their corners for the final signal to brawl. Luisana in a white bra top, red and white boxing shorts, whereas Munn in a black bikini top, black and white stripes streaked across her loose trunks. There goes the bell and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:

Olivia Munn setting the pace of the action early, especially when Luisana looks overconfident and gets a little too close for comfort - brunette not paying any attention to her lowly jabs, LETS LOOSE a right hook STRAIGHT into the blonde’s waiting arms, almost blowing Luisana right off her feet there and then! Luisana letting out a surprised URRKK as her upper torso gets tossed to the wind, the rest of her legs following as she’s driven back to her corner within the first minute of this fight! The fans roar with approval as we start this fight of in medias ras, with Munn going after her opponent in an equally cocky charge to cement her dominance! Luisana having to fend off invasive shots to her body, her arms swaying confused as she tries to defend both and ends up not doing a good job of either. Round one ends in action-packed fashion for Munn, with the brunette beauty rocking her fist into the air on her way back to corner after having scarred Luisa good.

ROUND 2:

Poor Luisana not knowing what hit her. She picked this fight, let’s not forget, and now having to live with the consequences of a heavy-hitting former champion barreling towards her at top-speed, swinging hooks at her head. The blonde grunts as another left-right combo crashes into her arms, further pushing her back on the defensive. Lopilato finally finding some courage and poking the bear back, resulting in Munn being stopped briefly in her tracks as she eats a couple of light jabs to the chin. But that’s not enough to stop her advance - Olivia storming past this light drizzle, again bullying Lopilato in close quarters with some strapping hooks into her ribs, then taking the opportunity to whip Luisana’s upper torso about with more swings to the side of her head. Lopilato can’t take much more of this abuse, gets BLOWN off her feet when a third such right hand crashes hard into her face, sending the Vixen sprawling down onto her side!

Good lord - it’s a knockdown in only the second round of this fight! Munn soaking up the cheers of adoration as she flexes her muscles for the fans, all the while parading around Luisana’s unfortunate fall to the canvas. The Vixen’s confidence at an all-time low, especially after this unfortunate debacle. Hey, but at least she manages to get back up to her feet by the count of 8? Nothing less than what we’d expected, that’s for sure, and to be fair to Luisana, she looks even more focused than ever before as she pulls together her guard for another onslaught. Perhaps this early knockdown is a much needed wakeup call for the Vixen?

ROUND 3:

Luisana now hunched over and better prepared for the oncoming attack. Let’s not forget - Munn with a wide lead so far and taking her own sweet time to find an opening, the older woman coming forward with a wide grin hidden behind her arms. Luisana sweating hard, eyes darting left and right at a moment’s notice and feet moving back at the slightest jerk of provocation. The evasion seems to work, with Munn letting fly more punches fly designed to overwhelm Lopilato once and for all, but the Vixen just leaping out of the way and avoiding. Only in the last minute do we see some significance action, with Olivia going all out and rushing towards her foe, but Luisana standing her ground and returning shot for shot. Loud grunts fill the air as they take turns landing sharp hooks to the cheek, only this time, Munn lacking the power with her extended tiredness. Luisana also losing the round, but it’s not as big a margin as before. Small comfort for the Vixen though as this marks the third consecutive round she’s come up short.

ROUND 4:

It’s still a one-sided contest if we look at the scoreboards, with Munn absolutely dominating in terms of the points and Luisana needing to do a whole lot more in order to catch up. One advantage she has, however, is Munn’s older age, slowing her down quite considerably in the fourth. Luisana circling inwards, still cautious but landing shots into Olivia’s face and body, alternating her attacks up high and down low in order to confound her opponent even more. Munn almost powerless to stop herself from getting pushed back, the barrage of punches from Lopilato just increasing by the minute. Still, the Vixen has to be careful of those return swings that can easily put her face-down into the canvas one last time. Luckily for her, Luisana remains focused enough to push through to the three-minute mark, FINALLY taking a close round for herself after all this long slog.

ROUND 5:

The more punches landed on Olivia, however, the slower she gets, all that abuse starting to add up as Luisana discovers this truth a little too late: Munn packing a punch but not punching the distance. Jabs start landing on Munn’s face and body with increased frequency, with Luisana easily swerving back to avoid her own swings. Munn clinching up in the second minute, eyes bulging as she takes a much needed breather, using her body weight to force Luisana backwards. First panic in Luisa’s eyes as she finds herself in danger of getting dominated on the ropes. But Munn’s tiredness still not going away so easily, and the two gals exchange body shots whilst holding each other in their arms, finally shoving off and blitzing the face in the final seconds.

ROUND 6:

Suddenly, it’s anyone’s game, as Luisana battles back from the abyss. Now, the only question is who’s gonna sink and who’s the one who can swim through a thunderstorm. Munn catching her breath but has to turtle up as Luisana jumps in and starts wailing on her arms. Luisana knows that she can’t afford NOT to keep up the pressure here - if she does so, then Munn recovers her strength and makes her kiss the canvas again. Nosiree. Luisana burying another right hand into the side of Olivia’s tummy, stunning the veteran actress. Another left hook blasts her arms apart and then a follow-up swing CRASHES into the side of Olivia Munn’s face, AND DOWN SHE GOES, slamming into canvas HARD on her side!

REVENGE KNOCKDOWN for Luisana Lopilato as she pants heavily over her fallen adversary! Referee starts the count and Munn already crawling towards the ropes, her mouth open as she sucks in deep gulps of air. Luisana back in neutral corner, still fresh enough, chest heaving from the abuse, but it’s nothing compared to the damage wrought on her opponent tonight. Referee hits 10 and Munn is still barely hanging on on her knees, groaning on the top rope as the rest of her body quits on her! It’s over!!

Official Decision: Luisana Lopilato defeats Olivia Munn via KO6!

AFTER:

Wow! Luisana finally gets what she deserves as she puts a dangerous Bantamweight away! It may have taken a while to get to this point, but Luisa’s arrival is felt by everyone in the arena, and especially those back in the locker room. Luisana raising a weary arm to the crowds, half-smile on her lips as she blows kisses to the crowds, can’t be bothered one bit with checking on Munn at the other side of the ring.

Olivia sitting on her butt, resting against the ropes as the reality of the loss tonight finally sinks in. By golly, the American certainly had her victory in sight early in the fight, but turning 40-years-old definitely is gonna have some impact on her potential moving forward.
