Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse

BEFORE:
"So as you all know, I got my behind kicked by Sophia Bush last month…” Jessica Chastain pauses for effect as she smiles playfully at the press corp. If she’s sore about that loss, the Doll ain’t showing it though. Instead, she continues: “Sophia is a very good fighter so that doesn't discourage me at all. All I does is make me want to win, and win big tonight. Carmen hasn't made my life easy though - Olivia would be a big challenge for ANY woman in this league. I've watched many of her fights – So I know she's in great shape and I'm PRETTY sure she's quite a bit faster than me.” Chastain chuckles a little nervously. “And she's also pretty freakin’ tough. Katheryn (Winnick) gave me some good tips, so hopefully I can overcome all these things tonight. Because frankly, I'm NOT a fan of losing two in a row. Time to take care of business!"

Olivia Wilde grinning mischievously at the other end, setting Chastain with a ‘You’re so-going-down’ kinda look that says it all about her intentions in tonight's contest.

"Look, Jessica has definitely been an over-achiever in this division so far and I'm impressed with her results. I mean, I'd love to be doing what she's been doing seven years from now. But as you probably know, 2019 hasn’t been going my way so far and I simply CANNOT afford to lose tonight. This is a must-win fight for me and I came very prepared. She's right: I'm younger, faster, more experienced and tougher, so…no offense to her, but this fight is mine to win and I'm going all out in the ring tonight.” A very determined looking Olivia turns her gaze towards Jessica before making her final statement.

“Sorry Jess, you're gonna be my first victim of 2019, but… you kinda asked for it." Wilde shooting Jessica a half-playful, half-cocky smile, before both women come to the center for the final face-off.

Hours later and it’s fight time: Chastain in her usual fiery orange fight gear – a sports bra and matching knee length tights with black trims, matching black and orange gloves, hair bundled up tight as she makes her way down the arena ramp, huge cheers throughout the arena accompany this crowd favorite on her way to the ring. Her record has also been hella impressive thus far, and she will surely be looking to bounce back into another long winning streak if she manages to put Wilde away.

Olivia is out next and the brunette is wearing a slick and simple black bikini and white shawl, waving to the fans as she strides down the ramp with a confident smirk of her own. Both ladies are pushing the envelope based on their combined ages alone, and it’ll be up to either of them to play this fight to their respective strengths once in the ring.

Referee calls the bout to order and waves his hand! There goes the bell and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
We’re gonna be hearing from a pair of veteran actresses tonight as Wilde presents great speed for someone her age, and Chastain by contrast showing her great patience. The redhead will want to fight smart and cautious in this particular contest, knowing that Wilde is gonna have a leg up on her in the agility department. As predicted, Olivia testing the waters early with forward dashes, pressuring Jessica out of the gate with a bevy of jabs fired at her head from the opening bell. Chastain not too troubled but still grunting as she lets in some of those punches through her defences, can’t keep Wilde from rushing at her a constant pace unless she wants to engage in a wild free-for-all with the younger girl. Chastain establishing her own brand of power in the final minute, chasing Wilde off with one or two hooks comes danger-close to the face, but unfortunately, the Doll doesn't do much else besides spook the Olivia into moving backwards to her own corner. Round 1 ends without much else to speak of, and Wilde will be taking it, in our prediction, from her early and aggressive tactics.

ROUND 2:
Both ladies however don’t seem to be in a hurry to finish this fight, and Wilde again plays the aggressor card as she outnumbers her opponent based on sheer punches thrown so far. Of course, we’re also counting the actual number of blows that do land, and Jessica surprising back when a hook crashes into her raised arms, sending Wilde stumbling backwards a couple of steps. Before Chastain can capitalise, however, Olivia is back out of range and scooting off to the side, still relying on her agility to make everything more elusive in the long run. Chastain wisely doesn’t give chase, knows that she’s only going to be heading into a trap if she does so. Wilde looking disappointed as a result, spends the rest of the round jabbing lightly at her guard but getting spooked whenever Jessica pulls back one of her fists to blast forward.

ROUND 3:
More of the same as Jessica successfully lures her opponent into a false sense of security, drawing Wilde forward before unleashing a sudden hook towards her head, almost sending Olivia off her feet when the blow lands on the middle of her forearms. Wilde shaken from Chastain's overwhelming power, but manages to jump back out of range before a second hook can land on her being, avoiding it narrowly this time as it grazes the chin lightly, making her swerve backwards to overcompensate. Jessica makes the mistake of rushing in, however, thinking that Olivia’s ripe for being sent down to the canvas. The redhead takes a couple more jabs to the mouth as a result, grunting loudly as she realises her own mistake and foolhardiness in trying to rush things when Wilde still punching back for her life. Chastain spends the remaining minute nursing her wounds, lacking the element of surprise now as Wilde picks up the abuse with intermittent jabs screaming in from long range, with the Doll almost powerless to intercept at such a long distance away.

ROUND 4:
Continued back-and-forth as these two gals light each other’s faces up for Christmas early. Wilde clearly slowing down a tad - she ain’t no spring chicken herself at her age. But Chastain only needing her to slow down just enough to land one of her patented right hooks across the face, but still, Wilde proving to be a tough cookie to crack as she dances in and out of range and constantly keeps up a barrage of punches of her own, knocking Jessica’s head backwards once, twice, before scuttling back out of the way with a cocky smirk on her face. Wilde definitely overly confident, however, gets caught when Jessica times a right hook almost expertly in the exchange, sends her foe screaming off to the side when the blow lands stiffly on Olivia’s raised guard. Jessica landing a follow-up left swing that again almost takes Wilde off her feet, instead bashes into her so badly that Olivia lets out a loud grunt, then goes careening into the ropes. Before Chastain can rush in to cement the knockdown, the bell rings to spoil her fun, and she gets held back by the referee mid-charge.

ROUND 5:
Round and round we go as both women begin the fifth by taking a much needed breather. They spend the first minute circling to the side, both wary of what their opponents can do if they manage to catch a lucky break. Jessica trying to pressure Wilde further with her powerful swings, occasionally stepping forward and then letting loose towards the arms or body. It has the desired effect of sending Wilde into a panic as she jumps backwards and swerves to avoid. But Olivia soon getting confident as she snaps another straight hand into Jessica’s face, look of glee on her face as she finds her glove disappearing into the lips, and relishing the look of shock on the Doll’s face as the move is repeated at least three times. Jessica suddenly finding herself on the retreat, pushed backwards as the quantity of punches ramps up suddenly, Wilde walking her opponent down as she attacks and defends in alternative fashion. Chastain letting out another yelp as her face used as a punching bag at lightning speed, before Wilde goes in for the kill with a lunging uppercut swing that CUTS through the middle of the noise, STACKS Chastain upwards and snapping her head back in one hell of a wicked shot! OWWW! Chastain groans, wobbly, hurt, as she goes floundering backwards, LOSES her balance tumbling down to her side on the canvas!

KNOCKDOWN for Olivia Wilde, who draws first blood within first half of this contest! Wilde looking even more sure of herself as she celebrates prematurely, hands raised in the air and strutting her stuff back to neutral corner, whilst Jessica Chastain makes a wild scramble towards the ropes in order to get back up in time. But the aging celebrity repeatedly collapses back down to her knees after each attempt, that groggy head of hers swooning whenever she pushes herself up too fast. Referee hits the final count of ten and Chastain with a crestfallen look on her face as she sinks back down to all fours, head down, looking defeated! It’s over!!

Official Decision: Olivia Wilde defeats Jessica Chastain via KO5!

AFTER:
A big smile breaking over Olivia’s face as her victory is made official. Hands steady in the air this time, cockily parading around all four corners of the ring and drawing cheers of respect from the audience. To her, it’s her first win of the year and over a dangerous opponent – plenty of reason to celebrate. Wilde striking another victory pose in the middle of the ring, arms flexed for the cameras whilst smiling playfully, before the actress turns her atteiotn back to Jessica, walking over in order to congratulate the redhead on a good fight.

Chastain graciously accepting a helping hand back to her feet, then Wilde steadying her on her feet as the two women mutter mutual promises to definitely fight again someday in the future. Still, it can’t be easy for the veteran Doll to stomach this second loss in a row, for the first time in her short boxing career.

Olivia first to leave the ring, but not before pausing on her way out to speak to reporters. “I feel great! Jessica put up a good fight but I knew this was going to be my night…she had a hard time keeping up with my speed and experience…which is understandable considering I’m 7 years younger. I respect her for challenging me and I’ll definitely give her a rematch in the future if she wants it. I would advise against it though….” The victorious Olivia ends with a chuckle, turning to thank the cheering fans one last time before disappearing behind the curtains.
