Intro:
The main event sees Alessandra Ambrosio and Yvonne Strahovski fight it out once again, this time Yvonne coming to Alessandra's home turf in Rio De Janeiro, fighting on Copacabana beach.

Alessandra is 38 years old; she stands 5'9 ½, holding a record of 37 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 9 defeats, she is the current BBU lightweight champion and a former FCBA lightweight champion.

Yvonne is 37 years old; she stands 5'8, holding a record of 63 wins, 49 coming by way of knockout, with 29 defeats, she is a former five time FCBA lightweight champion.

So far they are tied in wins against each other, it was Yvonne who won the first fight with a knockout in a body paint body in seven rounds.

Alessandra one month later back in the BBU on a crossover card defeated Yvonne by knocking her out in the tenth round.

In the build up both women took part in a press conference on the Copacabana beach itself, fans were held behind a guard rail by security as they watched the fighters be led separately in front of them.

Obviously Alessandra got a louder cheer being in her back yard, she waved to the fans in a green bikini, blowing kisses to them.

While Yvonne headed onto the beach with a good cheer herself; though it was drowned out, wearing a white bikini Yvonne stared at Alessandra hard all the time the local model was playing up to her fans.

When the two come nose to nose; it looks like time has stopped for them as they stare right into their rivals eyes, bodies pressed together as their coaches step in to pull them apart as the tension is rising quickly.

It's Alessandra that speaks first, telling the crowd "I am so happy to be fighting in my home fans, you all are the best fans in the world, I know you will lift me to beat this bytch!" A cheer rings out at that last part.

"How depressing will it be then when I knock you out on this beach?" Yvonne asks Alessandra; leading to the two turning to face each other, scowling as again tempers rise.

"Look Yvonne you are in my back yard, I am going to enjoy battering your smug f***ing face around this beach!" Yells Alessandra as she takes a step towards Yvonne.

Who sees it as Yvonne tells Alessandra "why wait then? Bring it c***!" A roar rings out as the two charge each other, hands in hair as they bump bodies.

Security rushing to pry the two apart, both threatening what they will do when it is them in the ring, off the beach they are taken for now knowing that in one day they will have the chance to fight.

Fighting time; the ring posts have been set directly into the sand, with the judges table nearby on one side, bleachers are side up on three sides with a sold out crowd watching.

A loud cheer greets Alessandra as she steps onto the beach with her coach Taryn Terrell and cut woman Eva Carniero beside her, smiling as she waves to the fans.

She is wearing a green bikini with a gold "AA" badge on the left bra cup, a Brazil flag painted across her belly, green gloves and her brunette hair braided.

Stepping into the ring; Alessandra jogs around the inside of the ring, waving to her fans before she settles into her corner to warm up.

Yvonne now comes out with Nicole Kidman beside her, she is looking serious as she heads straight to the ring, thudding her gloves together as she goes.

She is wearing a gold bikini with golden armour plates painted onto her abs, gold gloves and her blonde hair is also braided.

Climbing into the ring; Yvonne jogs over to her corner where she flexes to the camera, before turning back towards Alessandra as she warms up.

The two fighters square up when waved to the center of the ring, tension in the air is rife as they don't say a word, but their bodies look tensed up.

Thudding their gloves together with a smack of leather, they turn back to their corners, ready for 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding" as they come out their corners; their eyes are locked as a chant for the hometown favourite rings out around them.

Trading stiff jabs to start; quickly enough they move in closer to throw some heavy leather as these two know each other so well, heads nearly clash as they both throw a right to the body.

Alessandra lands a good jab/right cross combo as she looks to push back her opponent, using her left shoulder to bump Yvonne back a step then land another right across her face.

When Yvonne is near the ropes though; Yvonne smartly pulls Alessandra with her left hand behind her head past her, turning them so she can hammer in two punches to the face to knock Ambrosio to the ropes to boos.

Both slug it out as Alessandra feels herself near the ropes, barking in effort already as they turn heads and hammer bodies with stiff shots.

Pushing Yvonne back to get off the ropes, Alessandra gets into space as the fighters reset, before getting back at each other in another hard fought exchange up to the bell.

Neither is particularly happy as they return to their corners, knowing that was a closer opening round then they would like to admit, coaches already telling them to take any openings they can.

Round 2:
Back out they come firing out more jabs as they move around each other, looking for better angles to strike from, leading to more cagey opening to the round.

Ducking down though allows Yvonne to dodge a left cross; she lands two hooks to the body, then a left across the jaw of her opponent as she moves right into her face.

It's Strahovski pushing the pace right now; dodging more successfully of the two before landing her own punches to force Alessandra to fight on the outside of the ring.

Though Alessandra shows she won't be knocked around that easily, feinting before catching Yvonne with a right across her mouth, followed by a left near the ear of the blonde as she steps in closer.

The final moments of the round sees Yvonne slip a straight to land an overhand left, an uppercut doesn't land flush but does push the Brazilian onto her heels, where she is kept behind her guard till the bell rings to end the round.

Yvonne looking happier as she returns to her corner, looking focused too as she talks to Nicole about how the round went.

Round 3:
Firing more jabs out as she moves; Alessandra is looking to land more cleaner shots after what was a bad round for her, Yvonne proving to still be a difficult target though.

With Yvonne slipping a jab to land two rights to the body, needing to be nudged back by Alessandra as the crowd seem to be starting to get on their fighters back.

When Yvonne tries to sneak in this time; Alessandra catches her with a right hook that clips her on the brow, making step back and Alessandra follow in with a three punch combo to knock her further back.

The crowd start to rally again behind their girl as they watch Ambrosio now impose on Strahovski, keeping her pressed near the ropes, which is stopping the Aussie from being able to dodge as easily.

Deciding she needs to fight back; Yvonne throws back at Alessandra, leading to a fiery exchange between them, hair is knocked around as sweat flies into the air as seconds remain in the round.

At the bell they both return to their corners knowing they are not going to have an easy time here tonight, getting their faces cleaned up both scowl across the ring at their rival.

Round 4:
Yvonne it seems wants to take the fight back to Alessandra, dipping under a jab to fire in two body shots as she moves in tight, using her left shoulder to further push back her opponent.

With Alessandra pushing back Yvonne; things get a little scruffy from both, as they throw punches and give the other little shoves with forearms and shoulders.

Firing a right hook that just misses; Yvonne takes a left to her ear, THEN A RIGHT HOOK LANDS ON HER JAW TO SEND YVONNE TO HER SIDE IN THE SAND!

An Alessandra chant rings out as she is grinning jogging to a neutral corner, 1....2....3... While Yvonne shakes her head as she sits up, 4....5...6.. Trying to clear the cobwebs as she dusts herself down, 7....8.. Before pushing to her feet to beat the count, her gloves are wiped down and she is allowed to continue.

As expected Alessandra steps in looking to knockout her opponent, Yvonne forced to cover up and fight off the back foot as Alessandra stalks her around the ring.

A jab/straight combo cuts through Yvonne's guard to knock her head back, with Yvonne clinching up as Alessandra was going for a big right hook.

The bell rings with both women still locked together, the referee breaks them up as they exchange words, Alessandra raising her fists in the air to a loud roar as she returns to her corner.

Round 5:
Maybe still a little buzzed from the knockdown; Yvonne is still fighting off the back foot, landing some nice counter punches as Alessandra swings in some big hooks.

Settling herself down a little, Alessandra lands a double jab to the top of her rivals head, then follows with two hooks to the ribs of the blonde to knock her further backwards.

Yvonne fires back with a good two punch combo to the face of Ambrosio, when she misses with a left cross though, she eats a straight/left hook combo to her mouth that busts her bottom lip open.

Cruelly Alessandra targets the bloody lip, making Yvonne wince each time it is cleanly hit, the Aussie lands several hard shots back in return, but is mainly being knocked back.

The round comes to a close with Alessandra getting told off Taryn to take this serious, go for the kill when she sees it isn't of trying to bludgeon Yvonne.

Round 6:
Again it is Alessandra pushing the tempo early on, landing a double jab straight into those bloody lips of her rival to make her cry out.

Driving Yvonne around the outside of the ring as another Alessandra chant breaks out, the crowd loving how dominant their fighter is right now over Strahovski.

But a missed right cross from Alessandra leaves her open to a right on her nose, a left lands across her jaw to send her back a step, with Yvonne coming roaring back to push Ambrosio behind her guard.

Both for lack of a better term brawl at the center of the ring, sweat and blood fly into the air as Alessandra's nose has begun bleeding.

Missing with a right cross; Alessandra takes two uppercuts to the body to make her groan out, then a left across her nose makes her stumble to the side, Yvonne bashes her to the ropes just as the round comes to a close.

Nicole clenches her fists and tells Yvonne "that's it! Show that cow that she isn't in your league!" With Yvonne getting her cut lip worked on.

Across the ring Taryn tells Alessandra "I warned you about this, take this f***ing sh*t serious and go out and batter Yvonne to her knees, you are the frickin champ of the BBU for god sake!"

Round 7:
As they start trading near the center of the ring, Yvonne looks to be getting back into her full flow, ducking punches coming at her head so she can counter with her own to the body.

A frustrated looking Alessandra throws a right that finds air, instead a counter right to the gut makes Alessandra gasp out, an overhand left follows to turn her head.

Leading to Alessandra getting driven onto the ropes under a barrage of body punches, forcing the crowds favourite to clinch up to stop Yvonne's momentum, the referee needed to step in as the crowd urge their fighter to fight back.

Once apart Alessandra throws several jabs that find glove or air, Yvonne deflects a right to land one of her own onto the nose of Alessandra, starting blood flowing from the nose again.

Yvonne isn't giving Alessandra a chance to breath, working the body which lowers the guard of Ambrosio, then lands a right across the nose to make the brunette cry out.

When the bell rings it is a clear shut out for Yvonne, who heads back to her corner looking all business as she thuds her gloves together, standing against the turnbuckles as she looks keen to get back into action.

Meanwhile the Girls Friday corner sees Eva working hard to patch up the bloody nose of Alessandra, with blood dripping onto the Brazilians tits, Taryn tells her his fight is far from over.

Round 8:
Getting out their corners; Yvonne is like a shark the way she is stalking Yvonne, smelling blood in the water as she steps in with her jab aimed at the nose of her rival.

Alessandra lands a good jab but misses with the right cross, instead a left smacks across her nose and she looks like she is fighting back tears as she steps back.

A follow up right to the top of her head opens her guard up; A LEFT HOOK ON HER CHIN LANDS CLEAN AS A WHISTLE TO KNOCK THE GUMSHIELD OF ALESSANDRA OUT HER MOUTH, DOWN SHE GOES AND THE REFEREE CHECKS HER, NOT BOTHERING TO COUNT AS SHE IS OUT!

Winner Yvonne Strahovski KO Round 8

After:
Loud boos ring out as Alessandra lays in a heap on her back, Yvonne places a foot on the chest of Alessandra and poses with her arms flexed for cameras, wanting this to be a moment Ambrosio will never forget.

Once Yvonne clearly feels she has made her point, she heads back to her corner with some trash being thrown at her, an announcer needing to tell the crowd to stop before security drags them out.

All the while Alessandra has come to thanks to smelling salts, she sits up and begins crying as this wasn't supposed to happen, her return to winning was the plan on home sand.

Instead Taryn and Eva help Alessandra up and out of the ring, trying to get her out the storm of booing crowd members, questions are seriously being asked if Alessandra as an elite fighter is finished.

Inside the ring Yvonne doesn't celebrate much, instead getting her arm raised by the referee and going back over to her corner to hug Nicole for her help tonight.

As the two leave the ring; Yvonne tells a camera "Alessandra is done and I am going to get my title back" before marching back to the changing rooms, showing her fire for being the best hasn't been dampened by a few set backs this year.
