2. Alyssa Lynch vs Briana Evigan (Bantamweight)

Alyssa:

BEFORE:
"I had a revelation the other day," Briana grinning to reporters backstage. "Alyssa's only deadly to girls who are named 'Alexis'. She's faced more trouble than she's willing to admit whenever she’s paired with other girls. I'll prove that fact tonight when I knock her lights out."

"Big talk for someone with a less-than-stellar record," Alyssa responding with an eye roll. "If Briana wants me to be deadly tonight, I'll gladly lay her out on the floor."

Interesting contrast of styles as both fighters stand across each other for the staredown. Hands on hips as they strike their poses: Alyssa leaner, slightly taller, with Briana packing more power in her stockier frame, her wavy brown hair partially covering half of her face.

Later, Evigan dressed in black bra and briefs as she strides down the ramp, waving white gloves to the audience. Alyssa in a light violet lingerie set, bunching together red gloves as they make ready in corners of the ring. The referee waves his hand and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action and the second fight of this stable war!

ROUND 1:
Briana opening with aggression, powering her shots forward early on and hoping to score big on Alyssa’s face. Well, they say that if you’ve got power, you should flaunt it. Briana rocking a hook into Alyssa’s guard that sends her reeling back, brows knitted in shock as she struggles to deal with her opponent’s power. She’d better find some answers soon if she wants to stay in this fight. Alyssa firing jabs back at Evigan’s face with machine gun-like efficiency, but most peck away on the arms and only a few are actually getting through. Evigan comes barreling in like a tank in the final seconds, trying to use overwhelming force to dominate: she knocks the taller girl around with a left/right hook combo, when a third slams into the side of Alyssa’s head, sending her stumbling off. Before Briana can rush in and score an early upset, the bell rings, leaving both girls panting hard at opposite ends of the ring. A masterful start for the Holloway girl indeed!

ROUND 2:
Alyssa’s speed needs to do a little catching up in the second, and she’s up for the challenge. She skirts around Briana a whole lot more, taking fewer risks to face the wrath of her punches. Briana still charging at her in blind bull rushes but finding it more difficult to pin her down and bully. Alyssa instead peppering her face with jabs from afar, landing leather on cheek and chin, body and arms, though they aren’t gonna do much damage this way in the long run. But hey, it’s better than what Lynch endured last round. Briana covering up with her locked guard as the third minute rolls by with neither girl with much success, hiding her face in cover whenever she senses another barrage coming. Bell rings and Alyssa took this round back.

ROUND 3:
Briana smartly biding her time, focused on defence but gaining confidence to strike when the moment arrives. Alyssa growing bolder, poking shots at the tummy and then bashing away at the guard, licking her lips as she pushes her opponent backwards. Briana leads her inwards for a good minute before unleashing the full extent of her counter-attack! Alyssa in trouble as she EATS a hook straight to the face! Lynch trapped in the pocket as Briana dishes out the punishment she received three-fold, beating the Vixen back down the trail. Alyssa has to wrap up in order to stop her feet from leaving the ground, and the two girls bash at the body with underhanded strikes, sinking leather into the tummy or digging into the ribs. Briana supposedly excelling in this sort of close quarters endeavor, but still can’t stop a taller Alyssa from snarling into her ear, pushing and shoving her backwards. Girls end the round in the middle of the ring, hugging close, neither wanting to be the first one to admit defeat and break.

ROUND 4:
So far so good for Briana, who’s taken two out of three of the opening rounds by wide margins. She knows she’s got the advantage of power and size on her side, begins to crowd Alyssa back with more wild lunges, showing everyone that she ain’t so easy to put down or bully. Alyssa playing along for the most part, evading with backward jumps and blocking with her arms, then scores back with some precise shots into Evigan’s face and tummy, shocking the bigger brunette with a powerful counter strike. Evigan getting whittled away as she advances and then forced to stop in her tracks, guarding her face and body before she can blatantly charge forward. Last minute has the Holloway girl staying back fully, the pain index just too high for her to risk more damage to her face. She keeps a hungry Alyssa away with jabs of her own towards her head, and Lynch ends the round looking like a million dollars, beaming back to corner.

ROUND 5:
More of the same: Alyssa picks Briana off at range and does her best to avoid any return strikes. Alyssa showing off her moves as well, dancing around her opponent’s swings and then rocking her repeatedly to the face and body, bending Briana over at one point and priming her for a knockout hook, which Evigan deflects with her arm in the nick of time. Evigan getting pushed around, losing both steam and power. She needs to re-focus on her defence or risk letting this match slip away from her. Alyssa smiling behind her gloves, shooting jabs in whap whap WAPP as they land on Briana’s frame. Briana gets pushed into the ropes and covers her head up completely, stomach eating a ton of punishment though as Alyssa goes to work, drilling the thick body with lefts and rights before trying to take out the dam completely with bashes into the forearms. Doesn’t work though - either both girls are too tired at this point or Briana just not ready to go down yet - the bell rings before the explosives can get detonated, and Alyssa has to try again another round.

ROUND 6:
Briana looking shoddy as she rises from stool, panting hard. Alyssa not much better, having expended her energies on trying to secure a knockdown in the previous round. Girls start off slow and then explode forward once they get in range of each other. Alyssa having to duck under another wild hook from Briana, who tried to surprise the Vixen and bust her cheek when she wasn’t paying attention. Alyssa pays her back with a midriff thumping left right left, before an uppercut to the chin is also blocked by Evigan as it rattles her guard. Alyssa pushes her advantage even though she’s already too close for comfort. Evigan deflecting that last attack with ease, SENDS a one-two across Alyssa’s face with shocking result! OUCH!! Alyssa just too close and too slow to block them as the hooks smack clean across the cheek, doing some real damage! Alyssa dazed, stumbling backwards, and Briana roars in with little mercy, blasting another hook into the Vixen’s face, sending LYNCH DOWN to the canvas!!

A bloody KNOCKDOWN for Briana Evigan as she powers through the Vixen’s own assault and puts her lights out! Alyssa groaning on her side as she shakes the pain from her head. Referee already counted her to 6 and she’s still on her knees, trying to hold onto the ropes for support. Briana taking small steps towards her own corner, hands raised to the crowd as she looks to dominate this match further if need be. Alyssa makes it back up by the count of 9, but still has another 2 minutes to go in order to survive this round!

HERE comes Briana again, throwing caution to the wind as she uses every bullying instinct she knows! Alyssa helplessly trapped with her back against the ropes as covers up to survive this onslaught. Her body visibly taking a beating with left and right gloves packed into her belly, her torso thrown about up top with Briana sinking hooks in like there’s no tomorrow! Briana sacking her walls upstairs one swing at a time, a hurricane blasting into her already withering arms, and FINALLY the referee has seen enough, jumping in to COVER the poor girl up! IT’S ALL OVER!

Official Decision: Briana Evigan defeats Alyssa Lynch via TKO6!

AFTER:
A BIG win for Briana as she saves her stable from further embarrassment tonight! Not only that, she’s secured a win over a rising star in the division, with Alyssa Lynch falling down to her knees and resting mouth open and shell-shocked against the ropes, as the medics rush in to tend to her injuries.

Briana all smiles, her hands raised as she parades around the four corners of the ring, proud to have evened out the score of this stable war.

“I proved that I belong in the top rungs of this division, and she doesn’t,” Briana smirking for the cameras later on. “The poor girl. She never stood a chance.”
