BEFORE:
"This feels strange, until a month ago I had no idea who Isabela Moner is but here she is at the Doll Ball. I’m feeling great tonight, been doing well recently. Just 3 more wins and I’m at 10 in a row….gotta remain focused!" Lauren Mayberry apparently doesn't think she's in for a tough test tonight against the Latin teenager. This could be down to the reputation of the likes of Ariana Grande, five foot little Latinas haven't done all that much in FCBA thus far but the Peruvian-American vows to dismiss that notion with her third victory on the bounce: "Look, I'm the new kid in town but I've won a couple of big fights - high school BIG - and It’s OK Lauren, I didn’t know who YOU were either. But considering I have literally 10 TIMES as many ‘Insta’ followers, I think it’s safe to say I’m the bigger draw tonight! Victoria Justice and I are the new GBS terror kids and we're gonna rock more cocky wimps around the league than anyone even expects! Boom! I'm not the next Ariana Grande, I'm the real, frickin' deal!"

Lauren Mayberry wears a pink crop top with black trim, black hotpants & pink gloves. Long dark brown hair with bangs tied in a braid. Isabela Moner wears a blue sports bra with white trim, matching hotpants & white gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Lauren wants to show the youngster who's the boss around the Dollhouse place and delivers a quick jabbing strike before bouncing into the fellow brunette's midsection. Isabela is literally a spring chicken but it's still tough to embrace the early attack as she gets stuck on her heels and just can't stay out of Lauren's reach. Not much power behind those shots but the high-volume alone gives Mayberry the edge and she pounds the Latin wonder onto the ropes where she keeps digging into that tummy for as long as Isabela eventually blinks and shows signs of genuine weakness. Isabela tries to slip away on those teenage legs of hers but Lauren keeps her honest and signs off with a nice uppercut on the jaw which leaves Moner a little shaky at the bell.

Round 2:
Lauren tries to resume the pounding drill but Isabela's speed comes to the fore as she hangs back on her toes and has the Scottish girl chasing shadows during majority of the opening minute. Lauren is no Avril Lavigne so it's tough to channel that short fuse but Isabela does well enough to loop a couple of hits on the temples before driving up the Mayberry's gut as both girls tangle in close range. Isabela's raw skills enable her to outwork the local favorite nonetherless and she scythes the singer across the lips before bursting into her tummy again. She repays the favor and bangs Lauren onto the ropes as the Scottish girl also has issues handling the high-octane stuff and just can't catch the teenager on the fly anymore which allows Moner to clean out more Scottish midriff in the closing stages.

Round 3:
Isabela gives Lauren more trouble with her speedy approach in the opening minute and even less punches reach the target as Mayberry barks in anger when the Latin opponent ducks low and punishes her midsection instead. There's something about these hot-blooded brunettes who want to punish that bare midriff and Isabela whacks Lauren around the liver area too often not to drop the older girl behind a tight cover. Isabela flirts with danger as she keeps her left arm too low when striking on target but Mayberry just can't expose her with a proper hit and suddenly loses her precision alltogether as the lithe teenager piles more pressure downstairs. Cue in the clinch but Moner just shakes the European off and nails her with a wicked uppercut on the jaw before Lauren just tails off along the ropes and has to duck underneath a late jabbing flurry from the increasingly menacing rival.

Round 4:
Dollhouse coach Kristanna Loken orders more aggression but it only leads into a proper stalemate as Isabela refuses to buckle underneath Lauren's aerial attack. Too many single punches cash in to make a difference and Isabela is still anything but hurt despite starring in her third bout in the last six weeks. Or maybe Lauren just doesn't have that core strenght available and she's not winning this contest through sheer effort alone. Both girls trade vintage flyweight punches and tear it up back & forth alas the Staples remains relatively quiet since Lauren just can't dominate the action and would be lucky enough to win the cagey round on house rules more than anything else. Isabela delivers a late stinger on the guts and this is where she wants to go indeed as Mayberry swings a desperate shot from her heels and almost loses her balance all by herself. That looked awkward and coach Loken is furious in the corner!

Round 5:
How about another jabbing try? Lauren squares off in the teenager's face but gets caught with a brutal overhand as she skims off the top of her forehead in the process and stumbles to the side where Moner NAILS her with another cruel smash on the nose. Lauren almost trips over her own feet but remains upright only to see Isabela burst into her chest with a quick uppercut and shift downstairs from there... Latin pounce on the loose! Isabela tears into Lauren's midsection and glues her on the heels as the epic rush does enough damage to render the Scottish singer vulnerable. She wants to catch some breath in the clinch but Moner's silky smooth and digs away before blasting Mayberry on the nose again... Lauren wobbles forward but just doesn't get her gloves up fast enough and Moner FLIES in with another hook on the brow ridge THAT SPINS MAYBERRY AROUND and DROPS HER ONTO HER KNEES!!! Ugh! The Scottish cutie begins to groan in pain and bends her head against the canvas while the Latin sexpot struts back to the neutral corner. It's a slow count for the Dollhouse heroine but Lauren drags this way too long anyway and is still down on one knee when it reaches eight... she makes a last-gasp effort and is up at ten... but that's too late! One quick look into her eyes and she knows she's gotten beat! Even coach Loken realizes this bout was heading into the wrong direction wholesale! KO5 Isabela Moner!!!

Official Decision: Isabela Moner defeats Lauren Mayberry via KO5.

AFTER:
The teenager wins and they play some Shakira song through the speakers while most of the audience holds back on the cheering part... for a while but then it seems like plenty of those Hispanic maniacs have bought tickets after all so it's a full-blown party with Isabela posing for selfies and parading around the ring for so long the officials have to tell her there are like other fights still on the card! Meanwhile Lauren looks absolutely hollow in the eyes and doesn't even argue the decision, you're down on your knee at nine, there's no coming back unless the home town fix is on! It wasn't here tonight and the Scottish lass has to swallow her first defeat in the last eight tries! Beating veterans like Rachel Bilson and Rachael Leigh Cook is one thing but outlasting a bubbly teenager like Miss Moner is something completely different! One might argue GBS has found a potential diamond in the rough here!
