Before: "We're not enemies," Jen says, frowning as she stares contemplatively at the dais, choosing her words carefully, "but Cat has been deliberately provocative and antagonistic towards me this year. Honestly, I think it's because I'm a threat to her now, and Bell always gets a little aloof when girls become competitive on her level. We're kind of rubbing shoulders at the top of the food chain - there's always going to be tension in a situation like that. She's cranky from those Heigl knockouts, she's feeling pressure from me and some of the other new faces and she doesn't like it. I totally understand where she's coming from, and I do respect her - but I won't be deferential. We're a lot alike in a lot of ways and that's probably creating friction too - I'm just glad we're finally getting an outlet so we can let off some of this steam." Bell with a different take on current events: "Jenny's been openly confrontational and hostile," Cat contends. "When a girl mouths off about one of my fights that doesn't even involve her - I know something's up, and in Jenny's case, I know what it is. It all goes back to that first beating I gave her. We parted friends from that night, but obviously she's never gotten over what I did to her - I mean - I took Jenny apart that night - I dominated her - and that's probably more humiliating to her than a walk of shame, or a corner mounting or even a saddling. I didn't get that at the time, but I recognize it now, and if that's the way it has to be - so be it. I just think it's a little sad that Jenny can't feel good about herself with all she's accomplished - she's dwelling on one setback when she should be celebrating." Cat in bulging white bikini (Aristide ref), white gloves: Jenny in baby blue bikini, white gloves.

During R1: Cat jabs; Jenny hooks, leans into a vicious right hand on the mouth - Bell staggers backward, eyes wide. Jenny snarling, forward with a sweeping overhand right off her left foot - striding her right foot forward and looping the left overtop - Cat swept to ropes by monster walking-barrage early. Jenny piles in: pum-pum-pummelling lefts and rights shake the Bell midsection - Cat open-mouthed, frowning, desperate to tangle-up, but Jenny won't have it. O'Dell squared away, shoulders rotating, arms pumping and thrashing furiously - she's rampaging to Cat Bell guts, Cat Bell jugs and ribs. Bell getting ragdolled at the ropes, abandons her clinch attempts, gritting her teeth and slugging: HAMMER AND TONGS! Bell able to edge her left foot forward just enough to get some leverage - she's clanging away thick-swinging rights flat-n'-spanky amidships, lefts to the ribs, buxom right uppercuts. Jen baring her teeth, pounding Cat's firm waistline right/left - creeping bombardment up-torso takes in the ribcage and jug. Girls come off respective midsections to trade right hands up top and DOWN GOES CAT! Smokin' blast on the chin drops Cat in astonishment to all fours - Jenny hopping away to her left with savage satisfaction in her eyes - she bats her mitts together, nods her head smartly en route to neutral corner. Wobbly-butt 8, Cat Bell: she digs in, earmuffs up, tilts forward to receive Jenny's clean up attempt. CLAMBAKE! Jenny squares away, bats at Bell's flanks shivering straight-arm lefts and rights - and MOUNT BELL ERUPTS! Left uppercut from the crouch takes Jenny under the chin - girls trade thunderous right hands and CAT CRUMPLES HURT TO ROPES! Bell a-swoon, eyes blinking out "I'm hurt" in morse code as JENNY PILES ON! Free-swinging lefts and rights - Jenny in wide stance, ladling on the hurt - Cat's staring, awestruck face buffetted side to side as she wilts, wilts AND BELL GOES DOWN! Cat trembling, weight on right hand and right hip - left hand fumbling in behind her for ropes: Jenny screeching down, apoplectic with berserker fury - ref bodies O'Dell back at the bell as Cat limps into port ROCKED!

R2: Jenny surging off her stool, crunching into Cat's jaw as girls exchange right hands - Bell sent teetering back into ropes, mouth wide open in shock. Jenny back to that gut: thumping rights and lefts - blonde just leaning forward, pumping her arms, beating the breath from Cat Bell's body. Groaning, grimacing Cat: she reaches in behind Jenny's elbows, trying to clinch - but O'Dell won't have it. Muscular shove from Jen ragdolls Cat into ropes - Bell extends arms awkwardly to re-clinch, eats a tangy hook/right cross on the mouth: THERE GO CAT'S LEGS! Bell's knees buckle, then straighten - she stoops forward and TAKES THE LEFT UPPERCUT! Total jailbreak - Jenny POURING herself at Cat full-force: sidearm rights clang against Cat's jaw; hooks clout chin; jugs are buffetted as Bell droops forward, straightening her up in pain. Cat slides to her right, trying to ease the pressure - Jenny widens her hook to catch Cat in the mouth, punching her head back over the top rope and slumping her against ropes again. Back on that body: Jenny PUMPING enthusiastically - blonde chassis humming with slugging tension as she gives Cat her all. Bell loosens up on the ropes, guard crumbling under the body bombardment - Jenny's back on that face, hooks and crosses! Bell's hands fall to her lap - Bell's face pitching to-and-fro, mouth open, eyes fluttering shut and THE REF STEPS IN! Jenny screaming in exultation, hopping away in near hysterics as official cradles spellbound Cat to safety. TKO2 in beach-blitz fashion, Jennifer O'Dell!

After: Cat coaxed to her stool, gingerly sat down and examined - she's all busted up, staring, and when she regains her senses, she buries her face in her hands, hunching over her knees in quiet devastation. No consolation from Jenny, just a hard blonde stare from a jubilant BSE corner before rejoining the celebration - huge JOD victory rewrites the balance of power between these two FCBA dreadnought-class fighters. "She brought up 'the beating' - our first meeting - and it was her way of putting the pressure on me in prefight," Jenny explains, eyes still fierce with triumph. "Well I answered tonight. From now on, the pressure's on HER to respond to what I've done tonight - I've done my part. I've watched Cat grow increasingly methodical this year - she really wants to grind opponents down at her own pace and tempo, so I felt like I needed to gamble, come on strong just like this was a beach fight and 'own my sand', you know? Bell likes to make a statement early in fights too - especially against perceived threats - so I knew I'd be risking getting hurt, but it worked out. Who knows - I think Cat might be a little gunshy from Heigl, and I wouldn't be surprised to see more girls try blitzing her in the first round. It's worth it: if Cat can't prove she can handle pressure up the middle - even lesser girls are going to take a crack at it." VERY cute right shoulder shrug, suggestive raised eyebrows, impish smile - Jenny choosing to twist the knife a little to consolidate her victory in postfight. Gesture not lost on TE girls in attendance: if this thing didn't start out a stable war, it surely is one now!
