Georgia Mae Gibbs versus Joy Corrigan

Georgia:
(23, 5’10, 15:6 FCBA, VIXENs)

Joy:
(24, 5’8, 4:0 FCBA, Lioness Club)

BEFORE:
Not since the days of Nina Agdal facing off against Lily Aldridge have we seen a match-up between stunning bikini models like this one! Georgia and Joy are two blondes looking to make a name for themselves, so far appearing on the covers of numerous magazines. They’re exchanging some curt words at the pre-fight press conference, generally playing down each other’s credentials.

“She’s undefeated - so what? Everyone falls eventually, and I intend on being the cause of it,” Georgia says with a little grind of teeth.

“Do I sense a little jealousy down under?” Joy replies back with a smile. “Georgia’s had an impressive run, but she’s clearly upset over the bidding war that happened behind the scenes. Oh, did I not mention that it was for my contract, and not hers?”

“Keep telling yourself that, darling,” Gibbs says, rolling her eyes.

Hours later, Georgia is flashing that gorgeous smile as she struts down the main ramp in the arena, her yellow bikini matching her sun-kissed hair as she waves to fans while mounting the ring-steps. Joy Corrigan by contrast pursing her lips as she parts the curtains, looking both serious and laser-focused on her way to the ring. She’s wearing a white-pink floral patterned bikini, tying her platinum blonde hair up in a neat ponytail.

Ladies don’t even flinch when asked to touch gloves, and the referee gets the hint, orders them back to their corners before an impromptu brawl erupts before the bell. Both girls look locked and loaded, so HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Slow start to this contest as both blondes circle and paw at each other, both kinda still uncertain about how the other will really fair in the ring until the fists start flying. But Gibbs squaring away any doubt when she leaps into action mid-way, bouncing a right hand off Joy’s guard, which rattles her briefly. Subsequent jabs hound the Lioness in quick, neverending fashion, pushing Corrigan back into a helpless state. Georgia the type of girl who pounces upon seeing weakness, turning up the pressure even though it’s only the first round of this fight. She pushes Joy across the ring and back, not quite getting close to brawl but more than content with mauling her foe’s pretty face from afar. Corrigan needs to do more in the upcoming rounds if she wants to stand toe-to-toe with her more seasoned blonde counterpart.

ROUND 2:
Georgia still grinning behind her gloves when Joy comes screaming in with a right hand SLAMMED into the center of her forearms, making the Vixen taste her own medicine as Gibbs gets rattled by sweet revenge! OUCH!! Looks like two can play at the same game as it’s Corrigan’s turn to slam away punches with reckless abandon. Gibbs crowded backwards a few steps, not liking the turn of fortunes one bit. Corrigan helping her along, smacks another side-hook into the body left-right, before smashing another right cross again into the arms. Georgia gritting her teeth and then growling with anger, tries fighting back in the final minute. Result is both women engage in rapid blow-for-blow SWIPES to each other’s face, throwing torsos about in the wind, but it’s Joy who prevails with her shorter, stockier brand of power, sending Gibbs REELING to the side when another hook lands on her shocked cheek! These girls do NOT like each other and it definitely shows!

ROUND 3:
Bad news for Georgia Gibbs, who probably thought she was some kind of hot stuff going into this fight, but now having to beat back a formidable challenge for blonde supremacy when Joy meets her in the middle of the ring. Ladies go back to turning heads, landing alternate shots to the face and then to the sternum, but Gibbs manages to squeeze in a couple snap uppercuts to the base of chin, showing off her relative skill compared to the newcomer. Joy rocked briefly as her head sent upwards at a painful angle, opts for a wide swing that’s blocked by Gibbs, who shakes the pain from her forearms before ploughing another hook of her own into Corrigan’s guard. Girls reset at respective corners, both looking worse for wear, huffing and puffing behind closed guards as they round off the round with more jabs.

ROUND 4:
Corrigan establishing herself as a heavy-hitter indeed, lunging forward whenever Georgia gets in too close. Gibbs forced to break her attack mid-advance, swerve to avoid repeated swings, but unfortunately gets caught by a right hook followup that SLAMS hard into the side of her face! Gibbs lets out a groan, disorientated as she covers, body takes a beating further as Joy powers right in and chugs away at her chest and tummy, helping herself to large swaths of flesh. Gibbs with no choice but to bend over and clinch up with her opponent, wrapping arms around the chest as she struggles to stay alive in the face of blonde power. Joy not as experienced in close- quarters fighting, tries to wiggle her way out of the hold but only manages to get shoved back into the ropes, where she's held in place until the referee intervenes, pulls Georgia back off. Big round goes to Corrigan regardless of that late-minute debacle.

ROUND 5:
Georgia finally fighting a little smarter, her long legs skirting the perimeter as she keeps her distance and jabs. Corrigan on the other hand looking to even the score, barrels forward and wants to brawl with the Australian. Her face starts eating leather as a result, as Joy's reflexes too slow to avoid the jabs that Gibbs is throwing at her. Leather gloves bang in, shock those pouting lips as Joy gets her head repeatedly knocked back. Corrigan sent flying into the ropes when Gibbs suddenly unleashes a right cross to the arms, then bent over as the Vixen rushes in, turns her insides out with another right hand disappearing into her stomach. Corrigan can barely manage to cover her face as Gibbs SLAPS another hook across it in a side-ways swipe! Joy goes sailing off her feet, then collapses to the ground in agony!

KNOCKDOWN for Georgia Mae Gibbs! Joy Corrigan in shambles, sputtering on all fours as the blonde Vixen parades around her fallen body. Corrigan trying to push herself back up amidst the referee's slow count, finally getting to her feet by the count of 8. There's still a minute left on the clock, however, and Corrigan’s corner is doing every bit they can to shout encourage from the base of the apron. Bell resumes and Gibbs BARRELS into her like a freight truck, once again pinning her to the ropes and slamming every manner of fist into her shaking arms. Joy needs to survive long enough to hear the sound of the bell, though the way she’s getting thrown about in the pocket is definitely cause for worry. Another tight hook crashes into her face clean, rotates her 360 degrees along the ropes, and the ref has seen enough bloodshed - he JUMPS in to end this early!

Official Decision: Georgia Mae Gibbs defeats Joy Corrigan via TKO5!

AFTER:
Georgia’s hand raised by the referee, but she quickly pulls herself away, eager to have both her hands free for the coming humiliation. Joy Corrigan still in a daze as she gets hauled back to her feet by her dishevelled mess of hair. Georgia backhanding Joy across her face multiple times, taking her off her knees with loud groans if not for her fingers firmly clasped in her hair.

Georgia smirking down at her hapless quarry, but before she can do further damage, Joy also springing into action, lands a right fist square on her midsection, which bowls Gibbs over with a HNNGGG as well. The two girls end up tearing into each other anew, slapping and shooting punches down as they struggle for dominance in the middle of the ring. Ring officials have to struggle to restore order and separate them, but something tells us this is definitely not over!
