HAYDEN PANETTIERE VS NATALIE PORTMAN

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Hayden: 30 YO, 5’ 1 ½ (1.55 m), 71-36-1, 54 KO since 2006, Foxfire Boxing

Natalie: 38 YO, 5’3 (1.60 m), 81-49-2, 46 KO since 1999, Hawkeye International

Before: “I am not surprised Hayd wanted to fight me,” observed Natalie Portman at the pre-fight press gathering, “it always burns those Foxfire girls when they have a losing record against someone, esp someone from HISC. I am leading Hayden 2-1 and I look forward to making that 3-1.”

Hayden just smiles: “That’s right, Natty, forget to mention that the two fights you won were in 2008 and 2012. I won our last encounter in 2013.”

“So you got lucky that one time,” shrugged Natalie. “I notice you haven’t been eager to fight me again since then.”

“You just weren’t that high a priority with me,” Hayden replies coolly, “but now I have gotten around to it. This will make us 2-2. Then I can think about going into the lead—assuming you would care to risk a fifth fight.”

“It is never a good policy to think about rematches going into a fight. Especially when I won’t be the one needing it,” Natalie said dismissively.

“You just keep thinking like that and you WILL be the one needing it,” retorted Hayden.

“It will be such a pleasure dominating you once again,” Natalie mocked.

“My pleasure will be in dominating your arrogant ass!” Hayden snapped.

“Temper, temper,” Natalie admonished with a smirk.

“I will see you in the ring!” Hayden said and stomped off the stage.

Natalie turned to the audience and said sadly: “Poor girl just can’t handle reality. Ah well, I shall just have to give another painful dose of it when we fight. See you all then!”

Chill in the ring as the two fighters meet for ring instructions. Hayden sporting her new short-haired look, loose, but wetted down. She’s in forest green bikini with matching gloves and boots.

Natalie has her hair pulled back in a simple ponytail. She is in an elegant black bikini with golden gloves and black boots. (Black laces for the gloves; gold for the boots).

Referee stern in warning Hayden and Natalie they had better follow the rule book. They both give the official a “Who, me?” look of innocence. However the hostility becomes apparent when the glove “tap” turns into a SMACK they hear in the nose-bleed seats of the arena! They give each other smirking looks and go to their respective corners. The bell rings…

R1: Natalie out smoothly from her corner and she immediately starts chipping away at Hayden with quick punches to the head, juggs and stomach. Hayden having some trouble getting herself organized as all these punches keep impacting on her body. Natalie happy to keep Hayden confused with bouncing blows off the sides of the blonde’s head and then hooks into the midsection. Hayden trying to drop back using her jab as cover, but Natalie moving around Hayd and maintaining a steady drumfire of punches head and body. Rounds ends and Hayden looks more than a little rocky after all that punishment. Natalie looking quite pleased with herself, she knows she’s won the round wide.

R2: Hayden quickly responds to the R1 pressure by making sure she lands the first punches in the new round. Natalie finds herself punched hard to the chin and jaw. Then Hayden works Natty to the midsection and then back up to the head. Now it is Natalie’s turn to struggle to cope with a barrage of leather slamming into her from rapidly changing directions. Natalie began a rapid pull back, but Hayden proved hard to shake as she ignored Natalie’s defensive counters to keep up the punching pressure. Hayden began to try to work Natalie back into the ropes, but Natty kept slipping away and Hayden was still attempting to cut off the ring when time ran out. Still, Hayden could head for her corner with the comforting knowledge she had won the round by a wide margin.

R3: Hayden keeps right on doing it as R3 begins. Hammering blows to the body alternate with sharp shots to head and face of Natalie Portman. Natalie struggling to stay off the ropes, but Hyad seems very determined. Hayden finally able to cut off the ring on Natalie and then drive her into the ropes with rapid-fire body punches that pushed the HISC fighter back into the strands. Natalie clinching to break up the attack, but Hayden just keeps pinning her right back. Long, punishing round for Natalie Portman who ends up just protecting her head and enduring the body lashing punches she’s getting from the fired-up Hayden. Bell sounds and Hayden adds another round won wide to her side of the judges’ cards.

R4: Two tough rounds for Natalie Portman and she isn’t about to let Hayden Panettiere get in a third. Natalie shoots out of her corner and brings a crashing right into Hayden’s jaw. The blonde goes reeling into the ropes her head full of exploding lights and tweeting birdies. Natalie quickly pins Hayden against the strands and slams away at the blonde’s head. Hayden hastily covering her head with her gloves, but this gives Natalie a free hand at ripping away at Hayden’s unguarded body. Natalie methodical as she works over Hayden’s breasts, then drops to roast her to the ribcage and finally deep, digging hooks to the belly. Hayden writhing under this punishment, but she’s got a seat on the ropes and uses it to stay up. However, this allows Natalie to keep punching away at Hayden’s body until the bell rings. Natalie steps back as a gasping Hayden has to grab the top rope to steady herself and a smile comes to Natty’s face. Hayden glassy-eyed, but is still able to shuffle back to her corner. Natalie happily strides to her corner. She’s won this round wide.

R5: Foxfire corner crew works hard to get Hayden out for the new round and the blonde does seem to be moving better than expected. Natalie swoops in to pick up where she left off, but Hayden engages her very quickly. Fast exchange of jaw and chin shots that sees both fighters landing their blows, but it is Natalie who seems to have gotten the worst of it. Natalie put back on her heels and looks shaky to the legs. Hayden striking again and again at Natalie’s face and head. Natalie trying to jab Hayden back, but Hayd is taking the punishment in order to keep driving her gloves into Nat’s shuddering body. Natalie now being driven towards the ropes, but she keeps evading Hayden’s efforts to cut her off. Hayden obliged to settle for dominating Natalie most of the way to the bell and she wins this stanza wide.

R6: Natty and Hayd get right back at it as soon as the bell sounds. Natalie with solid shots to the head puts Hayden in retreat, but then Hayden stops the attack with a head swiveling right to Natty’s head. Then they both come in and suddenly we’ve got that pounding away at each other at point-blank range. Elbows moving in and out to keep the leather slamming into sweat covered bodies. Ribs and stomach areas are taking the worst punishment, but Hayden and Natalie are hanging in there, grimly pushing forward. Referee obliged to push the apart at several points, but the tight action rages down until the bell sounds. Hayden and Natalie step away from each other, but with scowls of determination on their faces. Both moving slowly as they return to their corners with throbbing bodies. The judges conclude the round was a DRAW.

R7: Hayden and Natalie look a bit slow coming out of their corners for this round, but pick up the pace as they circle each other at mid ring. Punches start to fly and they are going for the head. Brisk exchange, but then Hayden starts successfully evading Natalie’s shots while scoring hard to the Nat’s chin and jaw. Natalie starts to wobble as these blows seem to fill her brain with fog and Hayden sees her chance. Hayden slams in hard-driven uppercuts to come crunching into Natalie’s chin and then pounds right/left combos into her jaw. Natalie falling back on quaking legs, but Hayden keeps pouring it on and a final right to the jaw SENDS NATALIE CORKSCEWING TO THE CANVAS! Hayden trots to the neutral corner with a satisfied look on her face, but then looks anxious as she sees Natalie struggling to rise. The referee is counting as Natalie has pushed herself up off the canvas into a crouching position. She tries to force herself up, but then falls forward onto to all fours. She manages to get to her knees, but that’s the best she can do:

“EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!...YOU’RE OUT!”

Natalie Portman hangs her head in bitter defeat as Hayden Panettiere leaps up onto the ropes with her arms raised in triumph!

THE WINNER HAYDEN PANETTIERE DEFEATS NATALIE PORTMAN KO7!

After: Hayden gleefully rushes around the ring to share her joy with everyone. Natalie has been helped to her feet by the ref when Hayden pushes official aside to take a firm grip on the dazed Natty. Next thing Natalie knows she is being dragged around the ring on a walk of shame and being forced to pose for victory photos with a grinning Hayden. Hayden releases Natalie after completing the circuit and adds a final humiliation by giving Natty a slap on her black bikinied bottom as she walks away. Natalie is furious, but refrains ( perhaps wisely) from retaliating against Hayden tonight and storms from the ring.

“I always knew ‘Hayden Panties’ was a cheap excuse for a fighter. Hall of Famer? She belongs in a Hall of Shame! I’ll get her for this!” Natalie sounding uncharacteristically furious after this one.

Hayden seems amused when she hears of Natalie’s angry words: “I don’t know why she’s so stirred up. It was a fair fight and it’s not her first time on the wrong end of a Walk of Shame. I guess she’s getting cranky in her mature years.”

Hayden Panettiere did have a point. This was a pretty even fight. Sometimes Hayden would seem to be ahead. Sometimes it was it was Natalie. Seemed to be going back and forth until the 6th. The round was scored as a draw but seemed to leave Natalie more drained than Hayden, who then finished Nat off in the 7th. Could time be catching up with the HISC veteran? Fans will have to see what happens to Natalie as the year progresses. Meanwhile, Hayden has racked up a solid win over a proven veteran and her 2020 looks very promising indeed.
