BEFORE:

"Been waiting awhile for this chance," says Rose with a lovely smile. "You get to a point where you wonder if it will happen. Well, it finally has and it's time to make the wait worth it!"

"No butterflies at all," says a hard-eyed Billie. "I'm ready for this. And I'm ready for HER."



ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Demon Days' by Wild Wild Horses, and here comes the star of that video, Kiwi beauty Rose McIver!"

McCarthy: "You know, I'm a HUGE star down in New Zealand! All they TALK about is J-Mac!"

Cassie: "HERE we go..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Rose into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing a lovely orchid number and the fans showing their appreciation. And, that's..."

McCarthy: "HORRID! AWFUL! What makes these Front Street skanks think they can SING?"

Tess: "Again, fans, Mac has been LEGALLY ENJOINED from singing..."

McCarthy: "Just ONE SONG AND SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as the singer of that song, 'Buxom' Billie Eilish makes her way to the ring!"

Cassie: "Billie is the youngest fighter in the FCBA, just a month past her 18th birthday. And, she can't wait to get her career started tonight. But, she's going to take a little detour and bump glove to fist with her friend Avril Lavigne, who's sitting in the front row tonight."

O'Dell: "Eilish into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing an emerald number that's got the crowd popping. And, the ladies are about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Billie. Mac?"

McCarthy: "I'm SURE Eilish will be the typical overrated Dancing Hooker. Rose."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Billie aggressive early, wants to close and get busy. Rose not having any. McIver jabbing, moving the feet, presenting the teenager with some slick defense, and it's causing her problems. Billie missing with a lot of punches, opening herself up to counters..."

Cassie: "Needs to settle down. Typical first fight jitters, and, moreso for Billie, because this is her first fight at ANY level."

O'Dell: "Eilish definitely seems a little too aggressive, trying to get some offense going, but Rose using that aggression against her younger opponent. slipping and dipping, countering, scoring points with both hands. Front Street corner going to be in Billie's ear after this one..."

Tess: "No question about it. She's going to be 'counseled' by Neve..."

O'Dell: "Twenty-five seconds to go in the first, and McIver's been in control off the counter. She's letting Eilish do the work while she, Rose, reaps the benefits. Good right hand from Rose after Billie misses a right of her own and there's the bell. Not close in the opener. McIver. Wide."

McCarthy: "And Weirdo's next failure is down 10-9."



ROUND TWO:



O'Dell: "Eilish taking the foot off the pedal a bit after, as Tess predicted, hearing it from Neve between rounds. She's using the jab now, looking to set up punches. McIver staying on the counter, throwing back in spots and GETTING STAGGERED BY A RIGHT HAND!"

Tess: "That was a PRETTY punch!"

O'Dell: "Definitely a keyhole shot, and it's got Rose on wobbly legs as the teenager gets off lusty. Rose being driven back into the ropes and HAMMERED with hard leather. McIver in a high guard as Eilish goes body in a big way right above where Avril is sitting and the Canadian standing and screaming encouragement..."

McCarthy: "Security needs to get her OUT of here..."

Cassie: "Avril isn't doing anything wrong and security here works for Uncle Wiz, so..."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch and Eilish banging away. She's not been able to bring down McIver's guard, but she's definitely getting plenty of work done on the body. She's going upstairs here and there, but concentrating on the ribs and midsection right to the bell. Billie. Wide."

McCarthy: "And, we're even at 19."



ROUND THREE:



O'Dell: "Billie right back to work. Teenager seems very comfortable coming forward and getting physical, and there's no question she's VERY physical for this weight. She's banging body, going upstairs and back down, keeping a still-buzzed McIver going backward..."

Cassie: "As we all know, Front Street LIKES girls who are big for the weight. Billie's not tall, but she's thick and has power, a lot like Ariel Winter..."

McCarthy: "If I have to hear ONE MORE TIME about why Weirdo signed one of these girls..."

O'Dell: "Eilish banging away, forcing Rose to the ropes again. McIver in survival mode right now, and she's doing a good job of playing defense. She's slipping some punches, blocking others, but a lot of leather still getting through, and she's taking an absolute BEATING to the body..."

Tess: "Which is going to be a factor if we get to late rounds."

O'Dell: "Ten seconds left in what's been an absolutely dominant third for Billie Eilish. Teen has not been able to finish, but she's done everything else. One more flurry along the ropes and there's the bell. No question about it, shutout for Billie, who's now in the lead 29-28 after three."



ROUND FOUR:



O'Dell: "Eilish slowing down a bit this round. Used up a lot of energy in the past two, and might be showing a little arm weariness. She's still coming forward, but the work rate is decreased, and that's allowing Rose to start working the counter again. McIver willingly giving ground, letting Billie get off first, but scoring off Eilish's offense."

McCarthy: "This is smart stuff from Rose. She's ridden out the storm and now she's getting back in the fight."

O'Dell: "It's definitely a two-way round for the first time in this bout. Billie the aggressor still, looking to land the big leather. Rose slipping, dipping, countering, and piling up points while doing it. Not a lot in it at the moment, but, as Mac points out, MCIVER is back in it and that's good news for the older woman."

Cassie: "Rose showing a lot of skill and savvy, no question about it."

O'Dell: "Coming into the final seconds of a competitive fourth. Rose a nice right-hand counter. Ladies tied up in the middle of the ring now. Referee going to break them. Billie a right hand and Rose lands another counter at the bell. Close, but McIver's going to claim the fourth."

Tess: "And, we're even again at 38."



ROUND FIVE:



O'Dell: "Settling into a two-way battle here in the fifth. Eilish seems to have gotten her second wind, but McIver's got the legs back under her and the ladies now working on even terms. Once again, the teen the aggressor and Rose playing defense and countering very, very well..."

Tess: "McIver may be making sure her phone never rings again. The way she fights...that can cause problems for girls."

O'Dell: "No doubt it can be tough dealing with a counter puncher, and Rose showing she can do that and do it well. Billie, meanwhile, continuing to work hard. Ladies either at close quarters or at middle distances, and, at both ranges it's Eilish getting off first, and Rose scoring in counter."

McCarthy: "McIver just needs to stay the course. She's figured this kid now. She's GOT her."

O'Dell: "Rose doesn't think it's broken, so she's not fixing it. We're down to the final seconds of the fifth. Again, it's close. Neither fighter has been able to create much space, but, once again, as the bell rings, McIver is going to claim the points narrowly and move into the lead."

Cassie: "48-47 Rose at the half."



ROUND SIX:



O'Dell: "Pattern set as we begin the sixth. Eilish coming forward, McIver willing to give ground and work the counter. Billie getting body work done as they're in tight now. Rose clinches and forces a break. Back to middle distances. Eilish stepping to behind the left jab and NAILING ROSE WITH A RIGHT HOOK!"

Cassie: "What a SHOT!"

O'Dell: "McIver all WOBBLY BUTT! Did well to stay on her feet, frankly, but now Eilish all about planting her on the canvas. Billie backing up the older beauty, pinning her to the cables and going right back to work on the body. This is Neve Campbell stuff right here..."

McCarthy: "Stop glorifying that LOSER..."

O'Dell: "Billie just BANGING away down there, trying to bring down the guard. Rose clinching, but Billie stacks her back on the ropes and goes to work again. McIver again ties up. Ref going to get in there and break them and there's the bell. Billie wide in the sixth."

Tess: "And, we're even again at 57."



ROUND SEVEN:



O'Dell: "Eilish all 'seek and destroy' as we start the seventh. She's pouring forward, backing up a still-wobbly Rose with hard shot, all to the head now. McIver backing, covering, defending, again trying to ride this thing out as the teenager gets off lusty with both hands..."

McCarthy: "Just keep playing D and she'll be fine. This kid doesn't know ANYTHING..."

O'Dell: "She knows how to HIT, and that's what she's doing with Rose again on the ropes. NOW Billie's back to the body, hammering away, forcing the older woman to crouch and clinch, trying to protect that tenderized midsection and THERE'S A RIGHT UPPIE AND DOWN GOES ROSE!"

Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiigggghhhhttssss. The party's ohhhhhverrrrrrrr...."

O'Dell: "Rose bounces off the ropes and crashes past Eilish's left shoulder to land face down on the canvas. Avril going NUTS in the front row. Billie to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Rose rolling to her back at seven. Eight. Staring up at the ref. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO7 is 'Buxom' Billie Eilish!"

Tess: "And Avril's into the ring..."

McCarthy: "SECURITY! Get her OUT of there!"

Cassie: "Again, this is Asylum. Avril goes where she wants here..."



AFTER:



O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Billie Eilish and special guest Avril Lavigne..."

Avril: "Did I TELL you all, Tess? Billie is BADASS! You saw that power! How many girls in this division hit like that? Not many. Not many."

Tess: "Billie, Rose caused you some problems with that style..."

Billie (nodding): "Yeah. I mean, she's 31. She's been around the ring a few times. She's smart and slick and she hits, too. If she gets chances, she'll beat people. But, I just hung in there and kept coming. Jewel and Neve settled me down and told me to work the fight plan and I'd get her. And, I got her."

Tess: "Has to feel good to get that first win..."

Billie (smiling): "Yeah, it sure does. Can't wait to get back in the ring..."

Avril: "MANY more wins coming. MANY more. Count on it!"
