Kaia Gerber vs Baskin Champion

BEFORE:
“She dated Justin Bieber before, didn’t she?” Kaia saying with all innocence at the pre-fight press conference. “But we’ve both fought Scarlett, and only one of us won that one. Sorry that’s all I know about Baskin.”

“Keep talking, honey. I’m sure it’ll register up there soon enough,” Baskin responds from across the room with an eye roll. “Yeah, yeah, I haven’t won a single fight yet, blah blah blah. I have a good feeling tonight’s gonna be the night though, because I’m facing off against this little lamb.”

Not much else needs to be said as the two girls meet at the podium for the official showdown. Kaia in orange bikini, her dark brown hair tied up neat into a battle bun. Baskin going for a dark blue bikini, her blonde hair loose and dishevelled over her face as she shoves a stray fist into Kaia’s chin. Kaia more shocked than insulted, moves to match the move but gets pulled back by the ring officials, who assumed she was about to throw a punch at Champion’s smug face. Baskin heard laughing, making rude gestures on her way backstage, as Kaia herself is led away for her final preparations.

Fight night and Baskin walks out first in the same attire as before, a confident smirk towards the audience as she makes her way down the ramp. Maybe tonight might see her get lucky and score her first win of her career. Or maybe Kaia continues her win-streak, taking the abuse to a series of prior rookies, with no sign of slowing down.

Referee gets the nod from both corners as the ladies set themselves in fighting stances. HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Bad news for Kaia as the blonde’s aggression proves too much and too early for her. Baskin is eager to redeem her early defeats in the ring - she crowds in close without much fear of retaliation, starts scoring punches on Gerber’s face and body with reckless abandon. Kaia practically a deer caught in the headlights as she lets her opponent snap punches into her lips, then tan her midsection. Kaia barely punches back, moves out of the way only slightly as Baskin keeps pace with the younger girl no problem. Kaia in trouble if this is how the rest of the fight is gonna play out, finally starting to cover up at the last minute, but Baskin already switching targets to her midsection instead, landing stiff blows left and right as she pushes the new girl backwards. Round ends and Gerber still shaking her head, knows deep inside that she’s had one hell of a disaster of an opening. Champion is all smiles by contrast as she struts back to corner - this might finally be her time to shine as she takes the opening round wide.

ROUND 2:
More hard times for Kaia as she just can’t snap herself out of this fear of getting punched in the face. Baskin resuming the pressure with ease, keeps coming forward and rocking the brunette with more combos to her arms, before scoring on Kaia’s chest and body with long jabs. Baskin upping the ante this round, hard hooks swung into Kaia’s arms, which throw the younger woman off balance a couple of times. All Kaia can do is scoot away and reset at a distance, but this doesn’t do much for her confidence when Champion just chooses to crowd in close again, rinse and repeat, before shocking the poor brunette to her body with a left-left hup hup. Baskin all smiles, throws her counterpart into the ropes with a hook landing on the side of Kaia’s head. What the hell’s Kaia’s doing in there?! Another shutout round for the blonde as the supermodel has barely flung more than five jabs total these past two rounds! It’s gonna be slaughter if this keeps up!

ROUND 3:
Baskin practically grinning from ear-to-ear as she starts the third round expecting the same result as the previous two. She makes for Kaia in one hell of a straight line - why bother with footwork if your opponent is just gonna stand still and take your punches down the middle? Baskin pokes a combo aimed at the body, relishing the lurch of Kaia’s body forward as her punches land hard. But when she looks to follow through with another knockout swing to the supermodel’s head, she’s almost thrown off balance herself when her hook hits nothing but air! Kaia ducked under that one in the nick of time, SUDDENLY swings into action as she rocks an uppercut into Champion’s jaw, knocking her head up and back! OUCH!! Where did that come from?? Suddenly, it’s Gerber’s turn to shine as she lets her fists fly, tagging Champion on the face and body and for the first time in this match, actually succeeds in pushing her opponent backwards. Baskin however not going down without a fight, rams her own fists into Kaia’s nose and lips whenever possible, but something must awakened in the lanky brunette, who just shrugs off the pain and returns fire! Champion looks bewildered when the bell finally rings, ending an effectively even round for both competitors. Things just got interesting, folks!

ROUND 4:
Kaia fighting like a different beast even as Baskin tries to rush her once more. Not easy target practice this time round as Baskin fires jabs at her but they mainly hit the arms or thin air. Kaia’s brain kicking in her counter-offensive training, timing her own shots just right as she bunches Baskin’s face and body in repeatedly. Champion groaning, but doesn’t realise she’s losing until the final part of the round - the blonde still determined to win this first fight of her career and cannot fathom the thought that this lanky newbie might take that away from her yet again. But Kaia does exactly that, staying focused and throwing shots where it counts, parrying some of Baskin’s hooks before SOCKING her on the nose with WHAP of return fire. By the time the bell rings, Baskin’s face is more or less lit up red, the blonde panting heavily on the top rope and asking her corner if she’d actually won the round.

ROUND 5:
Champion out of breath now as we prepare to pass the middle mark of this fight. No rush from Kaia Gerber either as her strategy of agile counter-fighting is starting to bear fruit. Baskin doing her best to resume her attack, but gets troubled early when a one-two jab combo is easily blocked, Kaia then immediately RIPS a right hand across Baskin’s face, turning her head to the side and almost throwing her off balance! Champion lets out a loud URKK, stunned for a moment, more than enough time for Gerber to wade in close and poking more fists at the face, before going in for the kill with another wound up, hard SWIPE across her cheek, that sends BASKIN STUMBLING then COLLAPSING TO HER SIDE, utterly disorientated!! Kaia Gerber scores the first KNOCKDOWN of the evening! Champion groaning, trying to push herself off her chest, but both her eyes winced shut, mouth open as she struggles to recuperate from this downward slide. Referee hits the count of 10 and it looks like Champion’s dreams of winning a boxing match still go unfulfilled!! He calls for the bell, signaling the end of this fight!

Official Decision: Kaia Gerber defeats Baskin Champions via KO5!

AFTER:
Jubilation on Kaia’s face as she continues to impress the pundits in attendance tonight. A slow start for the supermodel but ever since then, she’s looking more comfortable with shifting gears within a fight, having put on such an impressive display and methodically out Baskin Champion.

As for Champion, she’s being tended to by the medics, who by this point are equally concerned for the model after taking such a beating. Maybe it’s the curse of being related to Mr Bieber that’s brought her this string of bad luck.

Not that Kaia cares, of course. The young woman quickly runs back to her corner, where her mother, the legendary Cindy Crawford, is waiting to embrace her daughter with a congratulatory smile. Kaia is certainly following in her mother’s footsteps both on the catwalk and inside the ring. The sky’s the limit for this young fighter as she notches another win on her belt.
