Laura Whitmore vs Leilani Dowding

BEFORE: Allthough Laura Whitmore has joined the Frankie's Foxes stable to immediately boost her career prospects, this decision was still dismissed by Real View's Tom Hilton who reckons the Irish presenter remains a mere "jobber" and doesn't deserve such an opportunity. Laura herself thinks it's Denise van Outen who hijacks her status and both she and Mr. Hilton work in tandem to make sure van Outen keeps her position as BBU TV's lead anchor:

"Look, I don't care what these people say. Denise is probably jealous I found my place in the sun while she keeps yo-yoing between the booth and the ring while being forever stuck in the journeywomen pool. She's got a loud mouth but not much else and once I'm done with Leilani here, I'm gonna whup her ass next!"

Foxfire Atlantic's Leilani Dowding lets the blonde do all the pre-fight talking and thinks it's a good sign that Laura might have her eyes set on van Outen which could become a huge distraction during tonight's contest. She needs a victory herself to prove she can beat other women than just these sleazy Page 3 models and Laura's career record doesn't exactly scare people off here so the dark-haired stunner remains in good spirits she can get the job done tonight.

Laura Whitmore wears a yellow bikini set and black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Leilani Dowding wears a red bikini set and white gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls show plenty of committement in the early stages even though most punches fail to connect and leads into a hectc brawl that hardly inspires elite praise. Leilani barks in her efforts and swings repeatedly upstairs while Laura displays superior agility to move back into mid-range which forces a lenghty pursuit from the dakr-haired model. However Leilani keeps bouncing off the blonde's high guard and eats a steady counter-punching drill come the final minute which allows her to step into a controlled jabbing assault that stymies the brunette's attack. Dowding's guard isn't that great at all and she soaks up otherwise unneccessary strikes right at the death to spark a wild roar from the Foxes corner.

Round 2:
Laura seems really buoyed by that late series however Leilani catches her up the middle and begins to swing around her head with more menacing strikes. The precision remains a problem but the sheer intensity of this attack allows the older girl to stack up her foe in the center of the ring. Dowding remains committed to the head-hunting drill and backs Whitmore onto the ropes where the presenter ducks & weaves on her feet but fails to escape the heat and gets clobbered through her high guard. Ugh! Leilani lands a nasty double combo on the nose and connects with several crisp jabs to finally rattle the Irish woman off her spot. Laura can only clinch her come the final minute but she loses all her confidence in the proccess and the brunette picks her off to the body to complete her bullying performance.

Round 3:
Dowding follows up on the aggressive display and wrecks more havoc upstairs to leave visible bruises on Laura's face; the Irish blonde tries to slug herself out of trouble but gets outworked in close range and eats a sinking hook on the jaw before a quick strike on the temple doubles up the heat and has Dowding blasting her on the jaw one more time... Ugh... LAURA GOES DOWN!!! That was very impressive from the Foxfire glam model who leaps in the air in delight while Laura tries to regain her composure while sitting down on her heels. The count reaches eight before we're all ready to go again but Leilani's all over her prey now and cashes in with more wild strikes that split Whitmore's guard repeatedly and reel her onto the ropes. Cue in more screams from the animated brunette as she rallies to wrap the blonde into a standstill with more bruises now marking Laura's face. This ncludes a nasty gash over the left eye and the Irish girl rests against the ropes come the bell with Dowding busting her on the rack afterwards to draw the referee's ire. She doesn't care though and vows to ship Laura's numb flesh back to Ireland in the next round!

Round 4:
Leilani moves in to finish the embattled blonde off but becomes too erratic in her pursuit and gets blocked off upstairs while Laura bides her time in blatant clinching efforts. Dowding switches low to punish the ribcage but her shots don't make such an impression anymore especially that Whitmore almost wrestles her to the ground a couple of times. Messy action affects Leilani's composure and she misses more punches thereafter while the blonde slowly recovers her rhythm and bangs in a couple of nasty hooks on the nose to only upset her rival even further. Both women clash heads at the start of the third minute but Laura hauls in an uppercut drive to punish the brunette's boobs and signs off a shocking comeback with a jaw-busting hook that wobbles the glamour model on her heels with a loud whimper.

Round 5:
Leilani keeps coming back at the blonde but fails to match her agility across the ring and eats a steady head-hunting response that allows Whitmore to finally stretch her elbows again. Both women soon engage in another gruesome hooking rally before Laura feels the need to upgrade her moves when Leilani threatens to open the gash over the left eye. A couple of quick uppercuts split the brunette's guard and Laura lands another cruel hit on the nose to wobble her foe back. Dowding fails to recover in time and gets beaten for a proper overhand that stuns her into spasms when Laura clips her jugs and pierces the solar plexus in quick succession. She hassles the older girl into the corner down the stretch and bursts her lips into a swollen mess when Leilani's high guard crumbles alltogether in the dying seconds.

Round 6:
For once Leilani holds back at the start of the round and gets dealt a cruel hand when Laura whacks her with a hooking double on the nose. Uh-oh! The brunette stunner sinks on wobbly knees and can't escape a wild follow up that has the blonde blasting her on both temples in quick one-two fashion. Her guard collapses again and allows Whitmore to turn from the hip and NAIL her with a classic piledriver on the chin. It happens so fast and answers the boxing slam dunk demand that next thing most of the Cardiff fans see are Leilani's legs shooting up in the air as she almost back-flips into her demise!!! Whoa!! Talk about getting ravaged in the ring!!! Leilani bursts into spasms as she tries to connect with her senses but can't maintain her balance and remains kneeled down until the count reaches eight... nine.. it's too late... the Irish blonde hugs the ref and climbs the ropes while Dowding still tries to embrace what just happened here... KO6 Laura Whitmore!!!

AFTER: You don't see such a nasty knockout punch in the bantamweight these days but Leilani's jaw got badly exposed and kept her trapped among these hot glamour models that look good on other girls' resume. So what else is new for the dark-haired stunner? Meanwhile Laura wants to let Denise van Outen AND Tom Hilton know that she's not exactly a jobber type nor a pretty blonde bimbo only suitable to rest on Frankie Cocozza's lap either. "I'm a genuine boxer and a damn good one too!"

The verdict is still out whether Laura can deliver the goods in BBU and last year's St. Patrick's Day defeat to Katie McGrath might sting that proud Irish soul for a while yet however there's no denying the entire league would benefit from a snarky blonde babe ready to ignite more action into an otherwise loaded bantamweight division. Since Denise van Outen can spot a looming danger from afar she voices her intentions to face the fellow media stunner within the next few weeks:

"Tom will keep me in the best of shape so I can prove that Laura isn't the biggest fish in the pool. She never was and never will be!" #EssexRules
