(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The next fight in the Copper Box Arena sees an international clash, Spain takes on Romania; as actress Ivana Baquero fights singer Inna.
Ivana is 24 years old; she stands 5'3 and holds a record of 8 wins, 7 by knockout and only 2 defeats.
Inna is 31 years old; she stands 5'4 and holds a record of 5 wins, all by knockout and 8 defeats.

Both fighters were interviewed at their gyms; Ivana spoke to the press outside her stables weight room, a big smile on her face as she spoke to them.
"I am loving life; especially in the ring as I am on a roll, I am hearing my name in the title picture, though I am still at least 2 fights away from that in my eyes" says Ivana.
Changing the subject to her opponent "on Inna; she is a tough woman, I have been at cards where she has fought and wow can she take a punch, she has my total respect"
She finishes by saying "but that simply means Inna is getting all of me, I am coming in with my best to beat her, I look forwards to what should be a fun fight"
While Inna is looking all business as she works the speed bag to show off her hand speed, before wiping her head with her towel, then turning to talk to the press.
"Ivana is a good fighter; she has been in the big fights, beaten some strong opponents, so this is the type of fights I want to get into title contention" says Inna.
But she continues "after beating Frankie Bridge in my last fight; I feel in great shape, so nobody scares me in the BBU at all" confidence clear in her speech.

Fight night; out comes Ivana with her coach Taryn Terrell and Eva Carneiro by her sides, she heads down to the ring wearing a red sports bra, red and yellow half and half trunks, red shoes and red gloves with yellow thumbs, her hair up in a ponytail.
Stepping into the ring; Ivana has a confident look as she chats away with her staff as she warms up with Taryn's help.
Now out comes Inna; she has her coach behind her as she heads down to the ring with eyes only on the ring, she is wearing a maroon set of gear, with her hair up in a ponytail too.
Climbing into the ring; she nods over to Ivana, before settling into her warm up routine, her coach telling her "make a statement tonight"

The fighters come to the ring centre and while their isn't any animosity between the fighters, it is clear neither is backing down as they stare right into each others eyes with no hint of fear in them.
Asked to touch gloves; respectfully they bump them together and jog back to their corners, ready to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters towards the center of the ring with probing punches to begin the round, both showing the other respect to start off.
As Ivana looks to quicken the pace, trying to slip inside to work; Inna moves back in time and lands a stiff double jab off the top of the Spanish fighters head to ward her back.
Inna showing good patience to work off the back foot, normally she likes to dig in and slug it out, maybe wanting to soften her opponent up before she does that.
Though she is controlling the pace well, Inna forcing Ivana to keep her guard up, till she steps in close to work the body.
The crowd finally getting what they want as the fighters slug it out in tight, bodies being tested and punches banging up top as the fighters try to power each other backwards.
Inna again though surprises the crowd and Ivana, slipping back a step and landing a straight onto the nose of her opponent to knock her head back.
Leading to Inna finishing the round off strongly as she stalks Ivana back around the ring, with the youngster covering up and accepting giving up real estate in the ring.
The bell rings with Ivana nodding at Inna to show respect for a good round, with the Girls Friday corner not looking happy with her, telling her to work harder.
While across the ring; Inna bumps a fist with her coach as he is happy to see her work in that round, telling her to keep focused and keep Ivana on the back foot.

Round 2:
Ivana comes out more quickly, with both still trading single punches to start off, this time they are fighting in more closer range as Ivana looks to keep in close.
But Inna catches Ivana with a straight through her mitts and follows with a left cross to knock her back a step, with the Romanian fighter looking to step forwards quickly to keep pushing her opponent back.
Ivana uses her jab to catch Inna onto her lips to keep her back and allow her to move to reset herself, Inna just smirking as she comes back forwards.
The fighters nearly bump heads as they work on the inside, both landing some real good shots to the others body, groans escaping their lips.
Till Inna tries nudging back Ivana; who smartly steps back as Inna tries to land a right hook that finds air, Ivana quickly stepping in to land a right and left across the face of her opponent to knock her head around.
Late in the round; Ivana looks to drive Inna back towards the ropes, with Inna now needing to show her footwork off to keep off the ropes, both landing stiff shots as they circle to end the round.
Heading to their corners, the Girls Friday corner looks happier as Taryn tells Ivana "that's better! Now build off it!"
As Inna doesn't look too bothered by that round not going her way, she still looked good enough to not get worried yet by Ivana.

Round 3:
Now both women are warmed up; they start trading in more tighter early on in the round, heads rubbing as they work the body of their opponent.
Inna again changes things up as she steps back and starts throwing uppercuts, with one striking Ivana on her chin to knock her back, the actress covering up as her opponent comes on the front foot.
The older fighter roughing up Ivana by shoving her guard and smacking the body of her opponent, taking control of the round with her bullying tactics.
But she misses with a right cross, allowing Ivana to dip down and come in with an overhand right that knocks Inna's head to the side.
Ivana now forces a fiery exchange between the fighters; sweat flying off them as their tempers are starting to hear up.
As Ivana lands a stiff right to the chin of Inna; starting to drive her towards the ropes with Inna trying to cover up, with several punches getting through to mark up Inna's stunning face.
Inna grabs Ivana to stop the assault; leading to the two grappling on the ropes and the referee needed to break them up.
Their eyes are full of fire now; with the final few seconds of the round seeing them go toe to toe, the crowd roaring the fighters on till the bell rings to end the round.
Both give each other a stern look on the way past the other on the way to their corner, both women getting washed down by their coaches, knowing that was a tight round for the fighters.

Round 4:
The fight becomes a more tightly fought affair; heads rubbing as they slug it out in close range, grunts and groans escaping both fighters lips.
Ivana this time looks to take the reins in their inside fighting, using her left to bump Inna back and throwing a straight onto her nose to bring a tear to the eye of her opponent.
Inna though far from rattled as she steps back and trades straight punches with Ivana as they circle on their toes.
Both looking for a chance to get inside and strike, with Inna using her slight reach advantage to pepper the face of Ivana with the cleaner punches in the exchanges.
Till Ivana feints with her left; before dipping under a right from her opponent and stepping inside with an uppercut that knocks Inna onto the back foot.
Ivana drives Inna onto the ropes after throwing a flurry towards her head, most of the punches smack off the gloves protecting the singers face, but several get through to knock her head backwards.
But Inna shows off her toughness once again; fighting back hard as her back touches the ropes, leading to another hot tempered scrap between them.
Both fighters cheeks are already starting to look a little puffy as they fire stiff cross punches, Ivana with the better ring position is able to dip a right and as she comes in to land a right to the body, her head crashes into the chin of Inna.
The referee warning Ivana to keep her head up as Inna rubs her jaw; Ivana holds out her glove in apology to her opponent, Inna doesn't look too forgiving though as she slaps the glove and raises her gloves up to fight.
The final few moments of the round seeing Inna look to get right into the face of Ivana and pay her back it seems, with Baquero looking shocked and finds herself on the defensive till the bell rings.
Inna not looking happy now as she heads to her corner; her coach telling her to cool her jets and keep to fighting with her brain.
While Ivana looks much calmer in her corner, nodding to Taryn as she is told what to do now that she seems to have a foothold in the fight.

Round 5:
Inna still looks somewhat upset from the accidental headbutt, the fighters trading at the ring centre, more flat footed as they load up on their punches.
Till Ivana seems to change things up for herself; moving more on her toes and using her jab more as Inna tries to move forwards to keep in close.
Ivana maybe has seen something in the way Inna moves as she feints and catches Inna with counter punches as the Romanian fighter keeps throwing power shots to catch the more mobile fighter.
The youngster slams a jab off the nose of Inna and lands a hard right hook across the cheek of Inna, with a cut opening up under the eye to give the singer a problem.
Inna doesn't seem to notice it at first as she keeps coming forwards, till Ivana keeps catching her on it to make her wince, blood trickles faster from the cut down the cheek.
That forces Inna to cover up more; with Ivana's eyes lighting up as she powers forwards with a body punching drill to force her back onto the ropes.
But as Inna tries to fight back this time; that cut makes for a bullseye that Baquero happily targets, rifling her right into it repeatedly to knock Inna's head back and force her to cover up.
For the first time in the fight; Inna looks in trouble as Ivana tries to break open that guard, switching up her targets as she switches to the body, turning her attention to the head as Inna tries to fire back.
The bell rings with Ivana jogging back to her corner with a small smile on her face, Taryn pats her back as Eva cleans her up.
While the opposite corner is much more busy, trying to stop the cut bleeding on Inna's face and cleaning up her blood stained cheek, her face full of frustration at being hurt by her opponent, wanting to pay her back quickly.

Round 6:
Inna looking more defensive; looking like she wants to catch Ivana coming in with a counter punch, landing several punches through the gaps left in Ivana's guard when she misses.
But Ivana goes back to what looked last round; feinting more to get Inna to react, then striking with stiff rights and lefts into the face of Inna.
The cut of Inna gets caught with a right across it that makes the blood flow quicker, Inna trying to cover up more tighter as she steps back.
Ivana uses her left to bump into Inna to knock her onto the ropes, AS THE GUARD OF INNA OPENS UP, ANOTHER RIGHT LANDS ACROSS THAT TO MAKE INNA CRY OUT, BEFORE A LEFT HOOKS PUTS HER ON HER KNEES!
The referee counts and can be seen looking at that cut as it drips onto the jugs of Inna, 1...2...3....4 Inna wipes her cheek with the back of her glove as she grimaces, 5....6...7...8 she stands up to beat the count.
They are told to fight on; with Ivana looking to finish this now, stalking Inna back around the ring, Inna tries to catch the actress with a right hook that finds air.
Ivana quickly steps in and lands an uppercut that knocks Inna's head back, INNA IS ROCKED AS SHE STUMBLES BACK, IVANA POUNDING HER HEAD BACK AND AS INNA'S ARMS DIP AS SHE GETS CAUGHT CLEANLY, THE REFEREE STEPS IN AND STOPS THE FIGHT, SAYING INNA CAN'T DEFEND HERSELF!

Winner Ivana Baquero TKO Round 6

After:
Inna looks to complain about the stoppage, though she is wobble legged and her left side of her face is a mess from that cut and from the swelling from the beating she took especially at the end.
While Ivana jogs over to her corner and celebrates with her corner crew, a group hug going on as Taryn and Eva give her praise on another good win.

Meanwhile Inna's coach helped her back to her corner to patch her up, cleaning up her face to make it look better, but her depressed look at being stopped is plenty to see.
Ivana comes over to check on her; with a little heated exchange over the headbutt, Ivana telling Inna it was an accident and while the singer doesn't look to convinced, she congratulates Ivana on a hard fought win.
Soon enough Inna leaves the ring under her own power, she is slow to move but is too stubborn to let her coach help her, the crowd giving her a respectful round of applause.

While in the ring; Ivana gets her hand raised by the referee as she flexes her other arm, a big smile that seems impossible to knock off her face right now, though probably plenty of women would love to step up and take a crack at her right now.
Leaving the ring; Ivana jogging to the back with her corner team by her side, all chatting away with excited looks on their faces.
It'll be interesting to see where Ivana goes next, especially in the crowded flyweight division, it is hard to get noticed, so how will she get noticed?
