Results: Lookout!, Words: GBS

The bout for the evening was a debut for both boxers. Aimee Lou Wood would be boxing with Rachel Brosnahan.

This will be the FCBA debut for both boxers. Rachel had one bout in the BBU. It seems GBS was instrumental is getting these two to the attention of the FCBA and its power brokers.

Aimee and Rachel had a pre-fight press conference where they both showed off training and sparring footage of themselves. One observer thought that Aimee reminded him of Jenna Coleman. Rachel was the better known name from her Amazon series and her footage did create more comment. Both boxers could compete in JMD bouts but Rachel most especially according to another observer.

Fight night is here and the boxers are ready.

Aimee was first with her purple stretch looking two piece lingerie and red gloves.

Rachel wore a red wine lace two piece lingerie with black straps on top and black outlines with black gloves.

Round 1:

Rachel certainly came out to box tonight as she was up and in Wood’s face from the opening. The two jabbed but Brosnahan’s seemed to have more power behind them. She also got into Aimee’s gut and breasts with some hooks and crosses. Wood gives ground and goes to work her punches into Rachel’s upper body. Brosnahan the aggressor and she unleashes some bombs in this round. She wins it widely.

Round 2:

Wood comes out and slugs with Brosnahan and soon Rachel is getting clocked. Both boxers start laying into each other with hooks and uppercuts and the action stays hot and heavy for the round. Late in the round Rachel catches Aimee with some hard crosses to her ribs. The two jab before the bell rings. Wood wins a close round.

Round 3:

The next round played out extremely close to the first two with action that had the crowd up on its feet and cheering for the entire 3 minutes. It opened with both jabbing and hooking with each other. Soon it is boxing in a phone booth from these two debutants. Both seemed to be taking turns moving back and up throughout the round. The result of the round was a draw.

Round 4:

Again the two boxers came out body punching each other as the round opened up. Aimee soon is exploding with huge left and rights that thud into Rachel. Now Wood is aggressive and driving punches into Brosnahan’s gut and breasts. Aimee is soon banging away and Rachel clinches. She ties up Aimee’s arms before this is broken up by the referee. Brosnahan uses some hard crosses to Wood’s face to bring the fight back to center of the ring. The bell ends with the two exchanging more punches. Wood is awarded the round widely.

Round 5:

Rachel answered the bell with a new strategy by going into Aimee’s face with two hard jabs. Wood was caught by surprise and Brosnahan continued to pepper her face with jabs and crosses. Wood raised her gloves and tried to circle away. But Rachel followed and began to work on her gut with some low hooks and straights. Soon she has Wood stopped and taking punches. Soon she is boring into Wood’s midsection and breasts. Aimee goes to clinch up and hang on to the charging Brosnahan. Again this is broken up and Wood tries to circle away from Rachel. Brosnahan wins the round via a shutout.

Round 6:

The next round saw Aimee comes out slower thanks to Rachel’s fists from the previous round. Her gloves are held high about face high. Brosnahan sees this and comes out with some quick straights to Wood’s gut and breasts. Soon she is working Aimee’s breasts with some hooks. Rachel is tearing up Aimee and Aimee tries to clinch. But Brosnahan backs up to avoid it. Then she goes to Aimee’s face with back to back uppercuts. Then came another right hook. AND WOOD GOES DOWN! Rachel watched and then went to a neutral corner. Wood gave no movement during the entire 10 count. KO 6 – Rachel Brosnahan.

After:

Rachel comes out and has her arm raised in victory. Wood is helped up and to her corner. The fans saw two good fighters tonight and we can hope these two box more in the future.

Brosnahan posed for some pictures before leaving the ring and talking with the press in her locker room.

Wood was unavailable to comment but did say she wants to box more.
