Before: Paula Patton‘s regarded as one of the hardest working fighters in the FCBA without proper management – she‘s diligently built up a reputation as one of the most dangerous free agents at light and welter. At 44, she‘s also showing no signs of decline to her powerful athleticism. And even some full eight years after the fight has happened, her highlight reel‘s still full of scenes from her legendary beatdown sieges of a helpless Amanda Righetti, and that devastating ninth-round knockout. Obviously, scenes from her subsequent drubbing by Big Rigs across a ten-round decision are nowhere to be found in the reel – but with her 16-20 record, Paula‘s never been about flashy winning streaks and legendary title fights. Paula knows she‘d need management to position herself for a debut title shot – and she actually relishes her independence during a pre-fight interview:

“Girls fear me,“ Paula says, matter-of-factly. “Stables want no piece of an unmanaged girl kickin‘ their girl‘s butt in a title shot. That‘s why nobody thinks I‘m a good stay-busy girl. I‘m just too competitive for many stables. I‘m not a girl who can play second fiddle to another welter girl, no, no.“

Patton‘s seen ups and downs – and she hasn‘t been in a really high-profile bout since her 2017 decider loss to Righetti. Her record for 2019‘s pretty good, though (3-2) – she‘s never turned into a journeywoman girls can expect to milk for an easy win. So what does newly signed Bonzo lightweight Tasya Teles expect from Paula?

“You know, I think that‘s the conundrum,“ Paula shrugs her shoulders. “I have no idea. She‘s got a nicely built body – she‘s a lil‘ athletic. I‘m sure she can jump rope for a solid twenty minutes – nice. That might be enough for Erica Durance, but it sure as hell ain‘t enough for me. I mean, she‘ll obviously know what went wrong about thirty seconds into our fight – when my jab‘s already knocking her head back, punishing her. It‘ll be too late, of course. And she‘ll have to stay there in the ring with me until I knock her butt out. I won‘t spare her.“

Tasya Teles‘ second FCBA fight after a solid debut over a former champion (Erica Durance) will be at light/welter catchweight. Tasya‘s lanky athleticism‘s in for a test against hard-hitting Paula, right?

“I‘m just happy Bonzo‘s fielding me real opponents,“ Tasya smiles in response. “Dont‘t think I‘d be here if I didn‘t hold up well in sparring against Righetti and Kostek. I‘m here to build up some sturdiness, roughen up my jawline – that‘s going to become my lil‘ extra signature power when I finally meet girls like Swift, Lima, Jenner.“

“Just as well“, Paula blurts out. “Lil‘ Miss Delusional won‘t even know what hit her.“

Fight night attire: Girls square up for an attractive match-up – Paula‘s her broad-shouldered self, legs all tanned and athletic, a little smaller than Teles, but with a more athletic, muscular cut. Patton‘s in tight cut-off denim shorts, a shiny leather bra, black gloves, white boots, her black hair curly, flowing – Tasya‘s in her blue shoulderless bra, black string bikini bottoms cutely laced at her hips, white gloves, black boots, her hair braided.




Fight: R1: Paula‘s pretty much just out a-stormin‘, a-huntin‘ – from early on she sets up a fast, tik-tokking pursuit of her younger, taller foe, driving thick-ish, POUNDING smacks to Tasya‘s mid-riff/flanks, spearing HUGE haymaking left/right crosses past Teles‘s outstretched arms/guard, lunging them wild and hard for her jawline/temple. Teles fielding these shots in relentless fashion across minute one: it‘s the thick, sickening power of Paula‘s one-shot pounds that‘s getting introduced to Tasya‘s blocked, crossed arms early – sets up fast re-hops, re-positions as Tasya‘s still trying to get used to the power. Early work‘s already at ropes, as Tasya‘s in pendulum, layed in all beefy n‘ brawny as Patton squares up large, looming, pounds away hard, flat – some alert head-motions by Tasya, her arms rigid n‘ stiff at temples/ears, taking CLUBBING shots, hoping for her sturdy thighs.

Minute mark: Patton a-hummin‘, a-punchin‘ across Tasya‘s flanks, ribs – short-contact righties get stuffed in nasty palms-up n‘ chop-chop style into Tasya‘s paunch! Rickety legs on display as Tasya slides out to left/right, working via ropes, trying to drape her arms around Paula‘s athletic shoulder brawn. Action sliding across various ropes throughout second minute, but all at Paula‘s tempo/will – Tasya‘s jab not yet a factor, just cuffing Paula some lil‘ tap-taps on her way out, bringing them hard n‘ smooth to Patton‘s rack, but not hurting her.

Final minute: Teles now upping the jab a lil‘, clearly trying to walk Patton into more dangerous shots off it – Paula not having any of it, still just leaning in rag-doll agressive, hurtling her shots into Tasya‘s bod/guard, closing distance with her guts n‘ power. Some showing off late: Paula reaches around Tasya‘s arms, stacking her girl up, jolting her up n‘ down – then punishing her, pounding away flat to her lats/hip-bones. Girls erect at bell, staying hot n‘ motivated right in each other‘s faces – Tasya cutely grinning back at Paula, knows she needs to stay combative, alert against Paula‘s aggression. “We need to use the canvas, Tas,“ heard inside Bonzo‘s corner during break. “Jab‘s key– Paula‘s gotta start walkin‘, girl, powering herself out.“

R2: Paula not relenting a single bit on her aggression – hard, swinging hooks n‘ crosses back up Teles in early trade, drive her hopping to ropes. Tasya constantly sliding out to left/right, hoping to ping Paula some get-off-me jabs to mouth, mostly staying boarded up in a tight peek-a-boo guard. Tasya‘s lithe frame taking BOMBS: taller brunette stationed off ropes, hunching, rolling shoulders, shuffling her hips – Paula‘s taking dips n‘s slips across her frame, shelling bombs to Tasya‘s flanks, laying thick-ish haymakers acrosss brunette paunch/ribs. A minute in: Tasya forcing more n‘ more clinches for breaks, stepping into Patton with a more sturdy authority, making PP take weight, too! Paula shoving her arms free off her opponent‘s grip, then trying to bull-rush Teles around for control, but Tasya firmly resists, moving her hips/legs into Paula‘s limbs – girls rumble n‘ tumble until ref rushes in, breaks ‘em beauties apart.

Mid-mark: Paula stepping-to via spearing jabs up top, haymaking lefts n‘ rights deep to bod – starts bashin‘, clobberin‘ at Tasya‘s firm, high guard. Teles hiding peek-a-boo, hands placed sturdy at temples/ears – Paula leans in, whacking sloppy upside her foe‘s head, hoping to numb Tasya‘s arms/guard. But Tasya‘s starting to stomp back some counters! Eyes alert, keeping her head, shoulders in motion – Tasya slips the overhand right, CRACKS a short left hand to Paula‘s exposed mouth! And again: short jabs pounding to Teles‘ guard – a rope-a-dope right hand spills right thru Patton‘s mitts, knocking her head back with a groan! Final minute action more rangy, loose, favouring Tasya‘s legginess – she starts working behind a stiffening jab, nicley timing n‘ scrubbing the proud Patton jug-line for scrumptious points.

Down the stretch: first time Patton‘s seen in earmuff, stomping on the spot, hopping, backing up herself. Girls lean in hard, and trade – and, there you go, right hand, Teles! A vicious hook laying in nice over Paula‘s left shoulder, tumbling to jaw – and Patton‘s wobbly-butt! Paula stepping in fence, skipping out hurt to ropeside – Tasya stalking her girl a bit, stepping into knock-knock jabs to Paula‘s eyes/mouth, and trying to feed thumping righties to jugs. Inside break: Teles sitting on stool, a-grinnin‘ - she‘s found an answer to Paula‘s rag-doll power.

R3: Patton still aggressive, but shut out, pre-empted a bit by Tasya‘s pokin‘, pickin‘ jabs – girls walking fast circles, grazing canvas on wide, long steps, spearing into long, swinging punches. Paula committing into these shots – she‘s trying to lean in hard, fast, pitching blasts over both of Tasya‘s shoulders. Teles constantly shuffling positions, head/neck tacking left/right, up/down, setting new positions via strong, fast hops – all the while she‘s keeping a hard, stinging left hand stabbing n‘ punishing Paula for her aggression. Long, pounding jab stoops to Patton‘s tits – vicious righty kisses off Paula‘s left jaw-line! Nasty first minute surprises for sturdy Patton: she‘s groaning, sputter-stepping a lil‘ wobbly – Teles taking slide-steps back, dipping shoulders, driving thudding left hands into Paula‘s flank/rack...then she‘s sliding back, pitching mean lil‘ jabs to Paula‘s eyes/forehead as Patton storms forward.

Mid-round mark: Tasya playing it leggy, rangy, smiling – suddenly gets pitched a lunging overhand right cross! Never doubt Patton‘s committed aggression: left feint, step-to, right hand gamble – she‘s got Tasya‘s eyes widened in shock, back-pedalling, legs shaky again. Snarls, flashing eyes as Paula gets to work: strappin‘ punches heaved to Tasya‘s hips/ribs left/right, left/right as Teles rides ‘em out, hands placed earmuff around her head. Tasya‘s butt hits ropes: a short, mean, pound-out right hand jerks to Teles‘s rack/ribs, bunches her up all hurt and spasm-y, her eyes going glassy – Paula‘s body shots are nasty, vicious, brutal stuff. Clubbing shots either side of skull lean into Tasya – right hands drift to chin! Teles sliding away ropeside, falling into Patton‘s sturdy stack-ups.

Final minute, down the stretch: girls set in wide stances, pitching trade back at each other – a low-slung lefty tapping close to Tasya‘s trunk-line, gurgling her into ashen-faced shock, as Tasya‘s own smooth right hand squirts to Patton‘s left ear, cork-screwing Paula‘s head into a dramatic head-turn. During the break: girls breathing hard, as chests heave and sink, thighs getting massaged, wounds patched up – “Girl can‘t take your power, PP – jaw‘s looking queasy, you gotta get in there, girl, get in there hard!“

R4: No shifts – Paula‘s combative, active, advancing on Tasya, setting a furious pace n‘ power. Patton wins a battle of jabs mid-ring, spitting them out of a crouch aggressively – angles, rhythm land her jabs to Teles‘ mouth/shouders, steer her back as tall, leggy Tasya duly retreats. Smooth, circular pivots, as Paula lands those jabs, left hooks, short body rights, slowly encroaching on Teles – Tasya letting herself get pushed around a bit, not in control of canvas, tempo. Legs, footwork still a Teles weapon, though – she‘s still making Patton move, leaning out of many shots, side-stepping her. Inevitable bull-down moments at ropes happen at minute mark – short right to jugs finally freezes Tasya, belts her atop the cables. Tight guard, butt on ropes – Paula greedy, reaching at her foe‘s arms, clubbing to mitts, pulling at wrists/elbows for leverage, gaps.

Lotsa shoves, shoulder-to-shoulder fall-ins: Patton aggressive, making sure she‘s on top of Tasya‘s tits n‘ tummy all the freakin‘ time! Teles squirming a bit, clearly uncomfortable – she‘s trying to palm-push her attacker off, get some wriggle room. Patton masterful at this kind of thudding body control – she‘s letting the action slide from ropes across ropes, but won‘t give Tasys‘s legs canvas, bodying up on her foe again n‘ again. When girls positioned shoulder-to-shoulder: witness the hum-hum power out of Patton‘s muscular back/shoulders – she‘s dipping left/right, rotating, re-setting, landing thick belts into Teles‘s stomach, splashing right hands to tits.

Late second minute: more tie-ups around Patton‘s neck/head – leggy Tas wants outta ropes, intiating lengthier breaks as girls tussle. Patton patient, smacking short left, right hands to Tasya‘s flanks as girls stumble n‘ walk – she‘s making sure to stay aggressive on initial trade after ref‘s breaks...spitting jabs, wild-ish right hands! Later – Tasya trying to counter in cute, smug fashion again, but Paula‘s more alert now, moving her head better, zooming away from stomp-stomp hooks when Teles‘s back‘s against ropes. Paula‘s weight-of-shot: lusty slugfest moments down the stretch prove Patton‘s power – she beats a Teles right hand via own righty to jaw, draws a fat hook to her foe‘s shoulderblade, pumping a trio of hard, heaving uppercuts to Tasya‘s paunch, oomph.

During break: Bonzo corner adamant about Tasya‘s legs, jabs – “You‘re getting a lil‘ used up here, Tas, you‘re fighting Paula‘s fight, girl. We want to see tempo, aggression – we want to see you holding your own in mid-ring trades!“

R5: Patton storms out, jugs a-sloshin‘ – laying a hard, sizzling haymaker past Tasya‘s right shoulder, blasting to ear. Teles brawls into a clinch, sets up a very sturdy defense at ropes – she‘s palming Paula‘s ears, cupping short, succinct shots at them to keep Patton in check. Paula bullish, trying to stay on top as action drifts alongside ropes – Tasya‘s being strong, aggressive off the ropes, stoopin‘ n‘ shovin‘ right hand shots into Patton‘s mid-riff, then wrapping up around Paula‘s arms, rumblin‘ n‘ tumblin‘ her back mid-ring. Fighters rassling for control – big girls wander mid-ring canvas, stoopin‘ and dippin‘ low shots to trunklines, leaning hard down opposite shoulders.

Minute mark: Tasya‘s starting to separate – stepping strongly around a blast-out jab off her left shoulder, using palms n‘ shoves to shoulders, steering her muscular foe backward. Paula rocked here and there – she‘s not handling the sudden, jolting jab power very well, leaving lil‘ gaps for Tasya‘s right hand hook to intrude! Patton on her heel‘s a rare sight tonight – she‘s still trying to weave inside the rhythmic jabs, hoping to set up shop in Tasya‘s rack, and it ain‘t working! Tall, smooth pivots from Tasya‘s snappy jab – the hard left to tits has got Paula stiffening, as thudding right hooks blast for her jaw, one-two, one-two. As her head‘s knocked back with lil‘ jolts, staring into harm‘s way, Paula‘s looking more and more sluggish during late in the second minute – she‘s forced into circular retreats, showing a frustrated crossed-arm stance, bobbing. Energy‘s on Tasya‘s side: she‘s upping her jabs and really starting to BLAST her right hand hooks n‘ crosses – Paula‘s reacting late, taking hard shots to shoulders, neck, to her stiff guard. Teles still controlling the action via fast footwork, hard jabs during final minute – her heavy lefts knock back Paula‘s head, tiren her out a bit, as legs stiffen, slow down.

Down the stretch: Tasya‘s jab‘s SHELLING Patton at will – she‘s stepping clockwise, shoving her shoulders back hard, stooping vicious body rights into Patton‘s toned tummy. Paula‘s aggression starting to look out of place: a WILD overhand righty misses hard – she eats a short, tuff left hook, crack to teeth! Short, blasting shot rings up Paula‘s buttocks, sits her in ropes a lil‘ shocked as Tasya firms, stiffening jabs to Patton‘s tits, getting into those proud jugs all snug n‘ comfortable. Paula‘s in a peek-a-boo stance, arms at temples, absorbing nasty shots beneath her elbows, torso trembling – at the bell she‘s all mouth-breathing, jugs heaving hard, her hair a disheveled mess. “You feel me, Paula?“, Tasya grins.

R6: Patton‘s trademark aggression turned into sluggish low energy – she‘s banged up, and Tasya‘s got youthful spunk! Difference picked up in lil‘ scenes, moments – Paula‘s a bit late in girls‘ blasting two-way trade, taking thudding shots to her mouth/neck before her own uppercut can make an impact. Her hard, WILD shots just no longer enough – Tasya‘s alert head-bobs, cute side-steps, and that long, pounding jab arm drifting splash to Paula‘s rack, her head, rockin‘ n‘ trembling her guard! Teles looking more in control by the second, taking those long, loping strides now, showing off a bit – she‘s got Paula‘s aggression timed, sneaking short left/right uppercuts to Patton‘s bulging bra, tapping them to her flanks/late, always keeping a stiff, steady jab in Paula‘s bruised face.

About a minute in, tall Tasya‘s ready for more – she‘s bodying up on poor Paula! Jabs get her range, timing: spanking jabs/hooks to the breasts punish Paula – she‘s riding her left arm in under Patton‘s right, bulling her girl back, then driving her own right into Paula‘s gut, chup. Short scenes at ropes – Tasya‘s in control of Paula‘s head! Muscular brunette riding high atop cables, staring on in disbelief – Tasya‘s atop her tummy, riding her down, jamming short righties to guard/chin, loosening up Paula‘s head! Ref‘s break after Patton ties up, trying to muscle back up – a short, explosive jab spits off Tasya‘s left shoulder, spanks teeth and KICKS back Patton‘s head!

Paula Patton‘s stunned, her eyes blinking fast, as she‘s back-pedalling, hands held high, but feebly so – Tas leans inside Paula‘s furious get-off-me right hand, SPLASHES a monster body right in Paula‘s tits! Patton‘s strong body folding at the waist, her thighs a-tremble – and Tasya drives her left hand to Paula‘s shoulder, steering her girl upright to prep. Right hook blast! After: Tasya Teles bombs out Paula Patton! Bonzo rookie‘s all grins and smiles, pretty disregarding at Paula‘s plight down there on the canvas – it‘s a solid destruction of a former giant-slayer. Teles showing the kind of grit n‘ guts her gym hoped she‘d develop – she took her fair share of Paula‘s power shots tonight, adapted, turned things around. Tasya‘s offhand, nonchalant, and a little cruel about things post-fight, as she explains: “I know I had my corner worried for a bit, but round 5 was exactly the moment I knew I‘d start to change things – I took her best shots, saw that her legs n‘ punches started to get a lil‘ tired. I felt so good when I started jabbing her that round – and Paula got really scared when her power approach no longer worked. Her legs just quit – nothing wrong with that. Maybe she can find some sort of senior league where they only box five rounds or so, hm?“

A lot for pundits to admire in Tasya‘s second fight – she takes a powerful Paula Patton‘s best in a catchweight bout, lays her out sleepy at the end, exuding plenty of confidence in her control of the ring.
