5. Luisana Lopilato vs Hayley Atwell (Lightweight)

Luisana:

BEFORE:
Things look dire indeed for the PLP crew as they find themselves just one loss away from total defeat tonight. The much anticipated confidence in their corner has all but dissipated after a series of three losses to their lone victory.

Ask Hayley Atwell, however, and she'll tell you that she ain't worried.

"I’m not calling the Vixens pushovers, but PLP's losses stop here. We're bruised but you can bet your ass we aren't going down without a fight," Hayley says with a nod from the press table. "Luisa's accomplished a lot during her time in the ring, but with all due respect, she has a nasty habit of falling to girls who are ranked above her. And tonight, that person just happens to be me."

Luisa caught on camera with a flash of hesitation herself, realising this embarrassing fact is certainly true to some extent. She responds into the microphone but her voice is already a little shaky:

"Atwell's got every right to bash my past fights, but when you insult my fellow stablemates… now that I won't tolerate. She's been put away by Hannah and a few others, so I don't see why tonight will be any different. Atwell's time in the sun is up."

Later in the ring, Hayley looks nothing like her age, striding down the ramp and then disrobing into black bra and briefs, blowing enough kisses at the crowd to make Steve Rogers jealous ten times over. Luisa’s not to be outdone, wearing a plain, shiny bra set, coloured a shade of pearly-pink, which match her cotton briefs. She too smiles wide at the roar of the crowd, before strapping on white gloves in her corner.

Referee waves for the bell and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Luisa scores early with her youthful energy, running rings around the older woman and landing shots to her arms and body. Atwell grunts, not used to dealing with both speed and power in the form of the blonde devil. Luisana takes the first round by a comfortable margin, making her think this fight is already in the bag if it’s so easy to land punches on the bigger woman. But Atwell was never in trouble these three minutes, her guard still locked and intact with the exception of some red scarring on the arms.

ROUND 2:
And Hayley rocks the blonde with a right hand outta nowhere, stunning Luisa in the first few seconds! Luisa looks hella shocked as another and another jab lands on her face, which snap her head back. The Vixen quickly loses ground she gained earlier, blocking and trying to counter Hayley’s sudden aggression, but soon gets thrown off a couple of steps with another hard hook that slams into her arms. Hayley pushes in, lands a few more shots to the nose, but luckily for Lopilato, takes some return fire towards the end of the round.

ROUND 3:
Hayley gets pressured this time, with Luisa on the prowl for a comeback round. VIxen goes on the offensive, matching stiff hand for stiff blow to the nose, before staying at distance and continuing to jab at Hayley’s arms. Body shots begin to land, with Hayley grunting as Luisa fires off as many punches as she can into the clear target that is Atwell’s tummy. Hayley for the first time looks like she’s in trouble, gets folded over with another one-two to the midsection before a step-in right hook from Luisa tosses the big woman to the ground! DOWN goes Hayley Atwell!

Big achievement for Luisa right there, but Atwell is already seen making her way back up, recovering to her feet by the count of 7. In the last minute, Atwell focuses on defence, with Luisa rushing in to try and finish her off but doesn’t get lucky twice.

ROUND 4:
Atwell learns from her past mistakes and blocks off Luisa’s attacks, not responding as well to the blonde’s assault. Luisa huffing and puffing away, trying to get in close and throw the big girl off her feet again, but Atwell holds her feet steady, plows a left hand into the Vixen’s body, then another one rattles across the arms, which staggers Lopilato in her tracks. Minute two and both ladies engage in a close quarters slugfest, blasting each other to the face and then body. Atwell however showing off more of her power, getting the best of the exchange as she suddenly takes Luisa OFF her feet with a deft hook! The Vixen is blown off, getting her head turned to the side as her entire body rotates and hits the ground! OUCH! KNOCKDOWN right back for Hayley Atwell, who powers through despite her shortcomings!

The PLP crew is still very much alive and kicking as Atwell parades back to corner. Luisana slowly scrambles to her feet, recovering and shaking as the referee hits the count of 8. But the blonde looks shell shocked as hell, not happy that the tides have since turned in her opponent’s favour.

ROUND 5:
Back to bruising and brawling in close quarters, as Hayley and Luisa push each other back and forth with powerful blows. Luisa definitely more cautious about Hayley’s power, however, tries to keep her distance but still gets pushed back by another powerful cross to the middle of her arms. Luisana groans as she’s bent over by more straight hands to the body, but then dodges a follow-up hook to the head. She punishes Atwell to the body and chest in turn, stopping Atwell briefly in her tracks. Luisa circles back, trying to stay out of range again by popping jabs into the face until the round ends.

ROUND 6:
Luisana still has trouble getting past Atwell’s defences, jabs at the arms and body but not being able to score leather on flesh. Atwell on the other hand keeps her cool, takes the attacks but then dishes out her own punishment like it matters: a stiff cross hand knocks Luisana’s head back, then she alternates between the face and body, taking the younger blonde to task. Luisana looks like she’s in trouble as she’s pushed back, with Atwell getting right in her face and then blasting away like her career depended on it. Lopilato grunts as another swing catches her clean on the face, throwing her into the ropes. Atwell pounces like a charging bull, crowding in, jacking fists into the hapless girl’s body, before a final uppercut to the chin forces Luisa off her feet again! Lopilato CRASHES to the ground, where she stays this time! She’s laid out by the ropes, completely KNOCKED OUT! It’s all over!

Official Decision: Hayley Atwell defeats Luisana Lopilato via KO6!

AFTER:
Hayley raises a fist into the air, celebrating her triumphant return. The PLP star returns to her corner, smiling confidently as her teammates congratulate her. She has every reason to be happy, scoring an important win over a younger opponent tonight.

By contrast, Luisana looks disappointed after getting revived by medics, but is congratulated by Atwell herself after the PLP head-honcho comes over to check on her former opponent.

Atwell herself has saved her stable from imminent defeat, drawing a line in the sand and keeping her stablemates’ hopes alive.
