Kaya Scodelario versus Nina Dobrev

Intro:
With a new bantamweight champion, two bitter rivals fighting here hoping to get into the next title fight, Kaya Scodelario and Nina Dobrev step into the ring for a third time.

Kaya is 28 years old; she stands 5'6, holding a record of 39 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 9 defeats, she is a former FCBA bantamweight champion.

Nina is 31 years old, she stands 5'6 ½, holding a record of 52 wins, 25 defeats with 1 draw, she is also a former FCBA bantamweight champion.

As stated these two have met twice before, back in 2016 they fought in one of Kaya's first bouts in the FCBA, it ended with Kaya laid out on her back after being knocked out in the seventh round of a bloody war.

The second time was for the bantamweight title, it was a tensely fought affair that ended with Kaya losing her bantamweight title to Nina.

That's why understandably the odds are on Nina's side that she will win this and maybe get a shot at the bantamweight title, Kaya of course wanting to turn their fates around.

Both sat down with Lucy Liu on the FCBA network, first in the hot seat was Kaya, who of course got asked about how she is feeling going into a fight with one of the rare people she has a losing record against.

"Of course I can't pretend Nina hasn't had the hold over me since I came to the FCBA; as much as I hate her guts, she is talented, though she was lucky to take the bantamweight title off me" sternly says Kaya as she looks all business.

The next question is what will she do differently, Kaya replying "the simple answer is I need to cut out the mistakes, Nina caught me out when I left myself too wide open, this time she'll not defeat me"

Kaya then continues "Nina knows once I beat her that the floodgates will open, so Nina better hope I don't beat her because she will never beat me again" standing up to leave with a small grin, showing she isn't doubting herself.

Nina is next in the seat, smiling as she shakes hands with Lucy before sitting down, she is asked what makes her so good every time she fights Kaya.

Grinning as she pushes a loose hair behind her right ear, she answers "I could just say I am simply better then her, since you probably need a longer answer, Kaya isn't as physically strong as me, I have been at the elite a lot longer then she has and she know she can't beat me deep down"

Chuckling Nina adds "I mean just look at our last fight, Kaya was full of bravado going into that, I took her title and her spirit in that fight, she'll never be able to stand as much equal ever again after that"

She is then asked about the title picture, Nina taps her waist and tells Lucy "these abs are missing that belt, they won't have to wait long, first I'll deal with Kaya then whoever is the champion, I keep getting better every year" a beaming smile as she hugs Lucy before leaving the set.

Fight night; Kaya is out first with Hilary Swank and Eva Carneiro working her corner, she jogs down the aisle wearing a red hoodie, which she gets taken off before jogging up the steps and climbing into the ring.

Kaya poses at the center of the ring, she is wearing a red sports bra with white stripes up the sides, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves, her hair tied into a ponytail.

When she gets to her corner, Hilary fist bumps Kaya before the Brit goes through her warm up routine, bouncing on her toes as she shadow boxes.

Now Claudia Schiffer leads out Nina down the aisle, the Bulgarian beauty is full of smiles, full of confidence as she nods to her fans cheering her on her way.

As she climbs through the ropes and mounts the bottom ropes of her corner to pose with her arms in the air, she is wearing a violet sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair is also in a ponytail.

Jumping down to the canvas, Nina goes through her warm up routine, going through punching drills as Claudia tells her keep her foot on the throat of Kaya with another win.

After that the fighters come to the center to face off, the referee staying close as they go through the final instructions, some insults flying as they grind foreheads together.

Taking a step back when told to touch gloves, they swipe them together as they look more keen to get back to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Both step out their corners with similar stances, trading stiff single shots around their opponent's left hand, seeking for angles to land their bigger punches in.

Nina is the first to step up a gear, feinting with her jab before throwing an overhand right to the side of Kaya's head, a left then digs under Scodelario's ribs.

Hissing out; Kaya tries to fire back, getting caught though as Nina steps out the way of a double jab, instead it's the Bulgarian landing a counter left across her cheek.

Kaya covers up more tightly as Dobrev steps in closer, head down as she swings in three hooks to the body, making the English lass grunt out.

A left hook hits the side of Nina's head, the first meaningful punch from Kaya, who follows up with a left/right into the top of her rivals head to push her back.

Both fighters coming on strong in the final thirty seconds, snapping heads back as they step in closer, nearly clashing heads when they swing in right hooks that don't land clean.

The bell rings with both fighters scowling as they pass their rival to go back to their corners, Claudia is telling Nina that she started great, keep this up to remind Kaya who the better woman is.

Round 2:
Throwing more punches now they are warmed up, Kaya dips under a jab to drill in a right to the body, a left smacks across the jugs of Nina to make her cry out.

Grinning as she steps back, Kaya seems to enjoy the look of surprise on Nina's face, a double jab smacks Nina in her face to make her refocus.

While Kaya is looking improved, Nina is able to slip a right to drill in one of her own to the abs, punishing Kaya with a left across her tits to pay her back.

Heads nearly clash as they stand to trade on the inside, Nina looks to be getting the better of the exchange, Kaya steps back though to open up a gap to land two hooks to the side of Dobrev's head.

Pushing back Nina back towards the ropes, Kaya looks to be growing in confidence, Nina has her guard tightened up, throwing single punches to keep Kaya from overwhelming her.

At the bell Kaya raises her arms in the air, Nina smirking as she shakes her head behind Kaya, not believing that her rival should be so cocky knowing their record against each other clearly.

Round 3:
Trading double jabs to the others face, they look mirror images to start this round, circling with determined looks etched on their faces, eyes locked in intense stares.

When Kaya swings in a right hook, Nina leans out the way before landing a left to the cheek of Kaya, an uppercut pushes back the Brit to her heels.

Nina presses back Kaya now to the ropes, hitting mostly gloves as Kaya tightens up her guard now, Claudia yelling at Nina to switch up her punches to break down her rival.

She does as told, feinting as well to cause Kaya trouble, digging most of her punches into the abs of Scodelario, who is grunting out with each clean hit.

A left cross though catches Nina across her cheek, Kaya timing her counter attack to knock back Nina so she can make her way off the ropes into space.

The final minute seeing Kaya fight Nina on more even ground, some sweat flies off both fighters as they circle, drilling punches through gaps in the others defences.

At the bell Nina waves her right fist in front of Kaya, telling her "I'm going to enjoy knocking you out bytch" the referee needing to keep the fighters apart as it looks like they want to keep going, cooler heads prevail and they return to their corners.

Round 4:
It's Nina who comes out the corner quicker, knocking back Kaya to the outside of the ring with a double jab/straight combo, forcing Kaya to fight near the ropes.

When Nina looks to build off it by moving in closer, Kaya lands an uppercut after dodging a right, a left hook smacks Nina across her face to turn her head.

Now it's Kaya pushing back Nina with three clean shots to her face, the Lioness fighter back in her shell as momentum changes again.

Swinging her hooks under the ribs of Dobrev, Scodelario is barking out with effort, looking to break down her rival as Hilary yells at Kaya to hurt that bytch.

Nina though like Kaya times her counter attack, slamming a straight into the top of Kaya's head, following up with two hooks to the body as she nearly rams her head into the face of the Brit.

The fighters slug it out in tight, bodying up as they trade to the others abs and kidneys, trying to power the other back and prove a point it seems.

The bell rings to end the round with both shoving apart, the crowd roaring their favourite as they return to their corners, pundits agreeing so far it is hard to see who is going to win.

Round 5:
Thudding their gloves together as they come out their corners, both women look to make their mark on their opponent early, trading stiff single shots to the others face.

A missed right cross by Kaya leaves her open to an uppercut that looks to have rocked her, a left/right smacks Kaya's head back as sweat flies off her.

Back into a corner goes Kaya as Nina turns up the heat on her, head getting turned by nasty looking shots till she can clinch up with Nina, the referee needed to break them apart.

Once they are allowed to continue, Nina looks to pile it on Kaya, each time Nina builds momentum up she gets held by Kaya, Nina taunting her into her ear before they keep getting split up.

Kaya seems to have her legs back under her as they enter the final moments of the round, dodging Nina as big hooks come from the Bulgarian beauty.

The round comes to an end, Nina making a big statement as she jogs back to her corner with a big smile on her face, Claudia praising her as she washes her down.

Across the ring Kaya admits she stupidly got caught, Hilary giving her a rallying speech as Eva patches her up, Kaya fist bumps Hilary as she stands up for the next round.

Round 6:
Nina looks to push on as she comes out, Kaya looking more elusive as Nina stalks her around the ring, both throwing jabs to gauge the range.

As Nina steps in with a straight, Kaya dips down to land a right straight into the liver of Dobrev, who looks winded as she takes a step back, wincing as Kaya keeps working the body.

Now it is Nina who is looking to hold onto Kaya, the referee needed to pry them apart, Kaya now taunting a scowling Nina with her tapping her abs with a cheeky grin.

Feinting with a jab up top, Kaya lands again to the liver area, making Nina grimace as she backs up along the ropes, Kaya hunting down Dobrev now.

Nina tries to fight back, Kaya leaning out the way and tapping single punches into the mouth of the Lioness fighter, looking a totally different fighter to the last round.

The round comes to a close with Kaya now getting a shut out, showing how much a mirror image these two are, though as they return to their corners, Nina looks in real rough shape sucking in air.

Claudia trying to help out her fighter, Nina gets an ice pack on her body to numb the pain she is in, Nina does step up for the next round, even as Claudia looks worried.

Round 7:
Stepping out to fight, Nina trying to land a big shot from the off, Kaya dips under a right cross, TWO MORE UPPERCUTS TO THE BODY TO SEND DOBREV DOWN TO ALL FOURS!

The Scodelario fans cheer as she raises her arms in the air, 1...2...3... Nina spits out her gumshield, 4....5...6.. Nina gets up to her haunches, breathing hard as she holds the middle rope, 7....8... Trying to get up, Nina cries out and goes back to her knees, 9...10 Nina gets counted out!

Winner Kaya Scodelario KO Round 7

After:
Finally Kaya gets her win over Nina, she pounds her chest with right fist, Nina looking angrily at Kaya with a little disbelief at losing to her rival.

Tossing her gloves off before heading to Nina, Kaya pulls her up by her hair to hiss into her face "I told you bytch, once I beat you I have you now" then leaves her up to start a walk of shame for Nina.

Grinning as her fans chant her name, Kaya telling her beaten rival "you hear that, I know you hate not being in the spotlight, you are beneath me now as I'll be the one to become a champion again and you can watch me" Nina staring with fire in her eyes at the ground.

When Kaya gets to the Lioness corner, she pushes Nina into the arms of Claudia, who hugs Nina as she mouths "bytch" to Kaya, the winner blowing a kiss to Claudia before heading to her corner.

"Lucky c***" Claudia tells Nina as she helps her sit on her stool, ice packs placed onto the body of Nina as she winces, Nina telling Claudia that she'll f*** up Kaya next time they fight, this rivalry definitely seems to be heating up.

Across the ring Kaya is getting hugged by Hilary and Eva, both telling her how great she is, Hilary telling Kaya "we'll get you that the title back" with Kaya grinning.

The fighters come to the center of the ring, Nina doesn't look at Kaya as the winner gets her hand raised, instead heading out the ring as soon as she can with her corner crew behind her.

Kaya waves her off before pointing at her abs, telling the cameras "this is where the title should be" winking before she poses with her arms flexed.

She then leaves the ring, fist bumping Hilary and Eva before heading up the aisle, she'll of course be watching the bantamweight title fight between Britney Spears and Evangeline Lily like so many top bantamweights will.
