A throng of reporters with microphones at the ready crowd the entrance to the Chimera gym and a limousine waits out on the street. The front door opens and Charlize Theron quickly strides out of the gym, followed closely behind by Blake Lively, the challenger to the Queen of the Ice Hotel. The press erupts with questions.

“Do you think Taylor’s vulnerable after losing to Emily?”

“What are your thoughts on facing Swift for the first time?”

“You’ve challenged for the Ice Hotel three times before, but haven’t won – will this time be different?”

“You’re rated much lower than Taylor Swift right now – how long will you last?”

Lively pauses before she gives the press a soundbite, as Theron looks on.

“Swift is always dangerous,” Blake starts, “but coming off her title loss I expect her to be even more incentive to keep the only title she has now, that of the Ice Hotel. But Emily exposed the champ…ex-champ…in that fight and there are some holes I can take advantage of. I’ve been working out hard with an eye to making a title run and putting an end to Swift’s chances and hopes for a quick rematch with DiDonato will surely give me a leg up in getting back to that point. Theron fought Taylor back in 2017 and it didn’t end well for Charlize, but I’m a lot younger and I have the advantage of being able to look at the tape from that fight to prepare. You could see how Theron was broken down by Swift in the later rounds after having her way with her early. I’m in a lot better shape today than Theron was three years ago.”

Lively finishes up her statement and enters the limo, which revs its engine and starts to roll down the road to equal numbers of fans cheering on Lively and those showing their support for Swift.

The limousine slows to a stop outside of the Ice Hotel as dusk slowly sets on, the sky a red-orange hue that glints off the snow and ice structure. The door swings open and Blake Lively of Chimera steps out of the vehicle, quickly followed by Charlize Theron. To say that Lively is merely familiar with the Ice Hotel would be inaccurate - the actress has thrice challenged for the title against three different Queens yet has failed in each of her previous attempts. But while her history with the Ice Hotel May be well documented, she is facing a new foe. Despite her FCBA debut in 2008 and over 50 fights since, she has never once fought against the reigning Queen of the Ice Hotel, Taylor Swift, who debuted a year after Blake in 2009 and has gone on to be in 60 fights since. There are similarities between the girls - both in their low thirties, both blondes, both have bounced around from stable to stable, both have held the lightweight title. And tonight, two girls who have been on the FCBA for over a decade collide for the first time.

Lively and Theron’s breath is visible in the air as they walk to the infamous revolving door of the Ice Hotel. The two Chimera girls stride past the attendant and enter the Ice Hotel. The ring is set up in the middle of the great hall, the surroundings devoid of life save the referee and the camera crew. A sweeping staircase leads to floor above of the adjacent wing. Blake climbs the outside of the ring, swings her left leg over the middle rope, pulls her body through before she picks her right leg up and completely slides into the ring. Lively walks to her corner and takes off her robe to reveal an orange bikini top and floral bottoms.

The red headed attendant gives a shout up the ice staircase and the Queen of the Ice Hotel Taylor Swift descends the staircase, flanked by Brie Larson and Elizabeth Olsen, a fierce expression on her face. Emily DiDonato noticeably absent despite the Fates press release that she would be here accompanying Swift, and one can only imagine the internal fighting between Swift and DiDonato and Emily ended Taylor’s lightweight title reign. Swift puts her long legs to use, gracefully striding across the floor of the Ice Hotel to the ring. Taylor removes her robe before she steps up onto the side of the ring, showing her choice of attire to be a red and white striped bikini set with white gloves and red trim. Swift pauses before entering the ring, then slowly lifts up her long leg and swings it between the second and third ropes, taking plenty of time as she moves her body between the ropes and eventually pulls her right leg over.

Both blonde girls stare each other down as the bell rings, and off we go – Taylor Swift defending her title as Queen of the Ice Hotel against Blake Lively!

Round 1:

Blake and Taylor cautiously emerge from their corners as the fight begins, each blonde trying to get a feel for the other. Lively and Swift begin to circle clockwise and Swift throws the first jab, a right that Blake bops her head out of the way from. Lively darts in but instantly retreats once she notices that Swift brought her jab back into her guard with lightning speed. The girls resume circling until the blonde singer fakes at the actress’ head and then plugs leather into body. Swift lands a right to Lively’s ribs and the singer looks for a follow-up left, but she takes a right to her chin as Blake comes back at the singer. Swift’s left is still hanging after Lively’s punch and the actress hammers another right into the reigning Queen’s face, this time getting her mouth and knocking the singer backwards. Lively suddenly turning the match into her favor and fakes a right at Swift’s head before pounding her body with a left, driving her backwards. Taylor throws out a right just to keep Blake away and lands a glancing blow, but while it keeps Lively from pressing her advantage, it doesn’t get the singer any additional purchase by the bell. Both blonde beauties return to their respective corners, with Theron wearing a face of approval while Larson and Olsen are left scratching their heads.

Round 2:

Both gorgeous blondes quickly get out of their corners and the two girls start off exchanging blows at a rapid pace. Taylor opens with her famous jabs, putting her long reach to use, but one would be remiss to forget that Blake stands at a tall 5’10” and has nearly equal reach of the singer and jabs the singer back after her third strike into the actress’ guard. Blake’s blow strikes Taylor in her right cheek and the singer is forced to step back. Lively warily advances, smacking a left into Swift’s ribs, then following up with a right at the singer’s head – but Swift dodges it and crashes a right of her own into Lively’s chin. Blonde actress staggers backwards, gloves up and the singer pounds two punches into the challenger’s chest, knocking the challenger back and causing a brief squirm of discomfort as her second blow smacks Lively’s breasts, pancaking her orange bikini top against her chest. Lively steps forwards and wraps up Swift, the two blondes struggling to gain the upper hand and the referee separates the two. Out of the break, Swift gets a fast jab in as Lively is lackadaisical before taking the blow. Theron yells at her fighter to get her head in the game and Lively does, getting her guard up and counterpunching Swift whenever she gets the opportunity to, but by the bell, it’s clear that Taylor won the round on points, wide.

Round 3:

Swift gets out early and quickly, gracefully striding out of her corner and getting after Lively with her long reach. Taylor smacks Blake in the mouth with a right, opening the actress’ upper lip as a trickle of blood drips out. Swift backs off before Lively can counter and the two girls start circling. Taylor looking to be the aggressor, closing distance with Blake as she looks to land punches on her opponent, but the actress is keeping her guard up and blocking the blows. Taylor once again closes distance and throws her punches, but this time, she doesn’t back off immediately and pounds Blake’s guard with a trio of punches. Lively’s protection does its job and the moment Swift drops back, Lively fires off a rocket of a right that gets Swift in her cheek, catching the Queen of the Ice Hotel by surprise, and Taylor’s dropping backwards as on comes Blake. Swift trying to ward Lively away with straights, but the actress reads the singer like a book, dancing around her blows and going body, hammering away on Swift’s exposed midriff. The singer bounces into the ropes and Lively gets two solid punches into Swift’s chest before the singer wraps her up. The ref separates the two girls and the action resumes, but much more evenly than before as every strike from Blake gets a response, even if not a large one, from Taylor. The bell rings, and Lively comes out ahead, winning the round on points, wide.

Round 4:

Both women showing off their phenomenal fitness as they start the fourth round at a blistering circle for the first several seconds until both women plant their feet and start throwing haymakers. Taylor may be slightly bigger and younger, but Blake is absolutely holding her own, working on her fight plan by going to Swift’s body, working on her abs and ribs as the distance between the two blondes shrinks. Lively firmly in control, shifting to her left and popping a right off of Swift’s ribs and throws a left that bounces into Taylor’s guard before following up into her chest – and the singer rocks Lively with a right off of her jaw! Now it’s Lively who’s on her back foot as Taylor gets Blake at the sweet distance for the singer and pops the actress twice through her guard. Lively quickly drops back and Swift chases after her, but can’t get anything into Lively’s body or head by the bell. Lively won the opening part of the round, but Swift found her stride and came back in the second half to narrowly win the round.

Round 5:

The skin of both blondes glistens under the lights as they start the fifth round. Swift basically gliding across the ring as she again uses her famous legs to close on Lively and socks her opponent in the mouth with a right that absolutely shatters Lively’s guard and catches Blake flush in her mouth again, reopening the wound the singer made earlier in the fight. Taylor fakes another right and Blake pulls her guard up only to open up her body for Taylor and the singer turns the screws, pummeling Blake’s toned body into the ropes. Taylor criss-crossing blows to Blake’s chest and torso, absolutely pounding on her body. Lively tries to clinch but Swift reads the move and drops back just as Lively reaches out, leaving her head exposed and Swift smacks her in the jaw and Lively’s stems give a shimmy as the second rope catches her and saves her from a knockdown. Taylor pounces and the ref’s watching closely, but Blake is quick on the clinch and pins Swift’s arms against her own body. The official separates the two girls and once the fight continues, Blake lands a cheeky straight to Taylor’s chin, but the singer dodges the actress’ follow-up and comes back with a right that catches Blake in the breasts, causing the older girl to gasp out in pain as Swift smirks and the bell rings. Before Swift heads to her corner, she shouts out, “I’ll be sure to get your girls again, Blake, since you dislike it so much” and Lively turns red from the remark. With that, Taylor heads back to her corner after commanding the round, winning by shutout.

Round 6:

Swift charges out of her corner and slings a right into Lively’s body and the actress groans. Taylor smirks as she advances on a retreating Blake, the taller singer chasing after the actress. Swift lets loose an optimistic left hook that sails wide of Lively’s head and leaves the singer’s face open and the actress pops a one-two combo into the singer’s nose, leaving Swift stunned! Blake plants her feet and slams one, two punches into Swift’s jaw, alternating hands as Taylor pulls her arms back in too late and Lively dekes left, pulling Swift’s guard, then goes right with a hook of her own that gets Swift just above her jaw and DOWN GOES SWIFT ONTO HER HANDS AND KNEES! Blake proving that she’s still a force to be reckoned with as she shows off her power and what she can do with an opening. Lively moving to the corner as the ref starts to count over Swift. The Queen of the Ice Hotel is shaking her head, slowly moving feet underneath her body. Taylor gets up at a count of eight, and once the ref checks her over, waves Blake in for the match to continue. Lively starts sticking and shifting, keeping her foot on the gas to take on the battered Swift. Taylor, for her part, prevents Blake from just laying into her body by sticking the actress with jabs and using her longer reach to ward her off. But when the bell rings, it’s clear that the round goes to the challenger Blake Lively, and it’s not even close.

Round 7:

In a turn of events, Blake Lively seems to have returned to 2016 form when she captured the lightweight title and the actress is picking Taylor Swift apart! Blake quickly goes after Taylor and fakes a left hook before she wallops the singer with a right that snaps her head back. Swift keeps her guard up, but Lively’s picking around it, going to the younger blonde’s ribs and backing her up into the ropes. Blake’s churning out lefts and rights to Swift’s torso and chest and Taylor’s groaning with each blow she takes. Taylor’s guard starts to droop slightly as the punching takes its toll and Blake shifts her focus to the singer’s head, looking to use brute force to take down the reigning Queen. Taylor Swift wouldn’t have set the record for most title defenses without a good guard though, and she prevents Blake Lively’s blows from taking her down and gets two solid punches into her opponent’s face to get a brief respite. Taylor edges out of the corner and throws a one-two at Blake that sails wide of the dodging actress’ head and Blake comes back with a left punch to Taylor’s nose, drawing some blood that trickles down. Swift’s arms instinctively come up to completely cover her head and Lively goes to candyland on Swift’s exposed body. Lively crisscrossing punches, right punches going to Swift’s left breast and left punches going to Taylor’s right breast, each blow producing a dull thud as Blake’s blows pancake Taylor’s jugs before Taylor wraps Blake up. The ref steps in as the bell rings and pulls Lively and Swift apart. Swift’s face is flushed red and her chest is beginning to turn red as well from Blake’s blows. Taylor’s breathing heavily and drenched in sweat, looking gassed, while Blake, while sweating heavily, isn’t breathing nearly as hard. Lively and Swift still staring down each other and Blake smirks before saying, “And I can get your girls too, Taylor. Hope they’re ready for a beating.” And with that, Blake turns her back on Taylor and heads back to her own corner, winning the round by shutout.

Round 8:

Between the rounds, it’s a tale of two corners. Brie Larson and Elizabeth Olsen are busy trying to get Swift back into it while Charlize Theron merely needs to tell Lively what the blonde beauty already knows – that she’s standing on the verge of defeating arguably the most dominant lightweight in the FCBA over the past year.

Blake Lively comes out of her corner, a look of sheer determination in her eyes and she locks on to a battered Taylor Swift. The flesh on the singer’s torso and chest is beet red and the Queen is clearly feeling the effects of the challenger’s blows. Taylor’s wincing as she gets off her stool and the Queen hangs back for the first minute, trying to keep Blake at a distance with her jabs and her long legs to quickly retreat whenever she feels Blake is getting too close. Lively, for her part, hasn’t let off the gas and has that same look in her eyes that would strike fear into anyone in the ring with her. Lively steps forwards, shoots off two punches, once of which bounces off Swift’s guard and the other strikes her in the chest, and Swift retreats. Blake moves forwards again, sliding to her left using her long legs to cut Taylor off and driving two blows into Swift’s ribs. Swift goes back the way she came and Lively again pursues, and launches a left cross, but Taylor plants her feet and connects with a right haymaker that catches Blake flush in her right cheek and the actress’ blow goes wide. Swift takes advantage of the opening and smacks Lively across her jaw with a left and stuns Blake as she knocks the actress backwards! Taylor swiftly closes the distance and fakes Blake with a right and then hammers home one, two, three punches to Blake’s jaw and down goes Lively! Taylor has her hands in the air as she goes to a corner away from Blake who’s on her back, groaning in pain. Blake turns herself onto her stomach at four and Taylor’s jaw drops when the actress gets on all fours and wills herself up at the count of nine. The actress practically shoves the ref away, telling him she’s going to continue, at which point he shrugs and the two girls fight in the waning seconds of the round. Lively moving slowly and just keeping her guard up, occasionally warding Swift off with an occasional tight jab. The bell rings and Lively’s slow getting to her corner while Swift has a bit, but not much, more energy in her step as these two blonde beauties have absolutely hammered away on each other. Blake may have had Taylor early on in this round, but Swift came back strong and with the knockdown to take this round on points, wide.

Round 9:

Both blonde girls are sluggish getting off their stools, their weary legs wobbling as they get back up before they steady themselves. Despite getting knocked down last round, Blake Lively looks, well, more lively than one might expect, drawing on her strength reserves to stick a right through Swift’s guard. Taylor drops backwards and Blake pursues, but Blake doesn’t have the same speed as earlier and Taylor uses her longer legs to escape and plant her feet. Lively keeps her distance from Swift and feints right before striking with a left that crashes into Swift’s guard and the actress steps forward and goes for a right to Taylor’s body and skims it off her ribs. Lively stays in close and her feet drop back and her rear juts out as Swift buries a right into Lively’s midriff and forces the air out of her lungs. Blake barely has time to cry out before Taylor straights the actress back up with an uppercut that wobbles the older blonde and Blake is covering up as on comes Taylor! Swift throwing lefts and rights and Lively’s guard simply can’t cover everything that she needs to as Taylor lands a second blow to Blake’s softened midriff. Lively winces and her guard opens up and Swift hammers home one, two, three punches before connecting with a right uppercut that collapses Blake Lively! Lively’s gorgeous stems just gave out from under her and she’s hardly moving on her back as Swift takes a good look at her, then steps over her opponent’s body on her way to the corner! Charlize Theron shoots a dirty look at Taylor Swift before she yells at Blake to get up, but the most Lively can do by ten is roll herself onto her back and hopelessly look up at the referee, and this fight is over! Your winner by KO9 and STILL Queen of the Ice Hotel, Taylor Swift!

After:

Taylor raises her gloves up and points to the camera before quickly removing her gloves and walking over to Blake with a purpose, the actress still prone on the ground. Swift stops in front of Lively, who slightly raises her head, and the Queen smirks. “We may be friends in real life. But I have a reputation to protect. And for everyone who thought I would crumble after losing the title, especially you, Kate Upton: keep on dreaming.” With that, Swift drags Lively out of the ring, the actress weak on her feet, and thrusts her through the door that Lively came through a short period of time before. Taylor’s bursts through the same door a second later with Brie Larson and Elizabeth Olsen holding the Queen’s fur robe, and the singer waves the two back, not caring for the warmth as she braves the elements.

Blake is on all fours in the cold night as Taylor saunters out over to her fallen opponent. Swift grabs a hold of Lively around her hips and drags her over to the nearby snowbank and shoving the actress into it. Blake quickly exhales as her skin touches the cold snow and Taylor straddles Blake’s back and wraps her legs around Lively. The blonde actress struggles, but after the singer forces Lively’s face into the snow, the singer’s legs start to take their toll as Lively grows weaker. Taylor breaks the lock and Blake gasps for air as Taylor rolls her onto her back. Taylor again straddles Blake and a look of fear creeps across Blake’s face as Taylor bends over and whispers into Blake’s ear, “This is for going after my girls,” and promptly scoops up snow with her hands and slips it into Lively’s orange bikini top. Blake shivers but is too weak to fight back and her exposed flesh is covered in goosebumps. Taylor Swift gets up and stares down at a groaning Blake Lively who is clutching her breasts, trying to warm them up, and seemingly satisfied with her handiwork, turns her back and returns to the Ice Hotel.
