Intro:
We are tied in the International Cup with the third fight coming up now, Daniela Ruah and Sandra Kubicka want to make possibly a big step for their team with a win here.

Daniela is 36 years old, she stands 5'8 ½, holding a record of 26 wins, 23 coming by way of knockout, with 10 defeats.

Sandra is 25 years old, she also stands 5'8 ½, holding a record of 5 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with only 2 defeats.

These two stunners have maybe the most pressure on them since a win will mean that their team only needs to win another to claim the cup, with both also being able to use tonight to put a spotlight on their careers.

Each was interviewed on the set of the FCBA network, Daniela was first up on the set, looking business like as she sat on the hot seat ready to answer questions.

Up first she is asked about how she feels representing team USA, Daniela nods before saying "I've been watching these cups from the sidelines and I would have loved to have lifted the cup up myself, more as a captain but I can't complain at being picked can I?"

Daniela then says "I am also keen to test Sandra out, people want to see me as a gatekeeper now, as with anything in my life I'll take on the role with everything I have" getting a nod from the interviewer.

Before she finishes by saying "but don't think I can't see myself back among the elite, my hunger for the titles around here haven't died off because I am now a free agent, if anything it has made me more determined to prove myself to all my critics" she leaves the set with a swagger almost to it.

Sandra meanwhile looks excited at the chance in front of her, when asked about this cup, she replies "I mean just look at the people I am teaming with, fellow models, a Hollywood star and Cheryl (Cole) has been amazing as our captain, she has drilled us to be the best we can be"

When the subject changes to her opponent, Sandra's mood changes to a more serious on, she tells the interviewer "I'm going to have to be on top form, Daniela has shown throughout her career she can beat anyone, now is my chance to prove I can too against the best"

Finally she is asked how she'll celebrate if her team wins the cup, Sandra jokes "well Cheryl has a few Polish stablemates I am friends with, I'm sure I could get them here to show the other girls how to party" winking with a giggle before heading off.

Fight night here in the Philippines Arena, Daniela is out first with her coach Catherine Bell beside her, both look like they are fully in business mode as they stride down the aisle.

She is wearing a red sports bra, white waistband with "Ruah" in red letters on an American flag pattern trunks, red shoes and white gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Getting inside the ring, Daniela thuds her gloves together before tapping her cheeks, going through her warm up with as much mental preparation it seems then physical.

Now out comes Sandra with Melanie Brown behind her, the stunning model poses at the top of the aisle for her fans, marching down the aisle soon enough as she looks like she is on a catwalk.

She is wearing a navy blue sports bra, a white waistband with "Kubicka" on her Poland flag pattern trunks, navy blue shoes and gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Climbing through the ropes to her corner, Sandra blows kisses to her fans as she looks the more relaxed of the fighters, Mel making sure to get her head firmly in the game with a speech.

The fighters step to the center of the ring, listening to the referee on their final instructions, neither looks to have anything against the other apart from wanting success over their opponent.

Told to touch their gloves, they respectfully fist bump with a nod, after they return back to their corners, the referee signals for the bell to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
The early action is a cagey affair, Sandra more up on her toes of the two, neither pushing the boat out as they move around the center of the ring, throwing single punches mainly.

It's Daniela who shows a more aggressive intently by feinting with a right, landing a left hook into the cheek of her opponent, burying a right into her abs to follow.

That stirs Sandra into action, more punches being thrown by both women, Daniela looks to be landing the clean punches though as she is timing her attacks better then Kubicka.

The final minute of the round sees Sandra finally really land some nice shots, dipping under a left cross to bury two body shots in to cause Ruah to groan out.

The bell rings with Sandra able to body up to Daniela in that final moment of the round, Melanie telling Sandra not to give Daniela too much respect in the ring.

Round 2:
Taking the advice from her coach, Sandra is starting to dart inside to work more often straight away, forcing some hard fought exchanges on the inside, moving back to range after she has gotten her licks in.

Daniela pops several jabs into the top of Sandra's head to keep her back, looking to keep the Pole to the outside, slowing the pace down where she wants it.

After the first minute, Sandra seems to have gotten her timing sorted, feinting with a left before landing a right into the chest of Ruah, who grunts out as a left cross smacks her cheek.

Stepping to the inside when the opening presents itself, Sandra digs in two hooks under the ribs of the American, a left cross up top just misses as Daniela gets her head out the way.

But the action is definitely on the side of Sandra, whose pushing back Daniela behind her guard around the outside of the ring, most of those punches landing on gloves of Ruah though.

Who deflects a straight to land an uppercut in the final seconds of the round, a left cross smacks Sandra on the bell, both women nodding to each other as they know they are in a tough test tonight.

Round 3:
Throwing more combos as they move in closer together to fight, it seems like they are trying to establish some dominance after an even first two rounds.

Daniela catches Sandra with two uppercuts to knock her head back, the American bashing back Kubicka to the outside of the ring with two clean punches through the mitts of the Pole.

Pressing forwards more, Daniela is trying to break the guard of her opponent down to knock her head back, keeping Kubicka under wraps for the next minute.

Till finally Sandra ducks a left hook to counter with a right under Daniela's ribs, an overhand left smacks the older woman across her jaw to knock her back a step.

They step in to trade in close in the remaining forty seconds, grunts and barks ring out as they batter the others cheeks and bodies to the delight of the fans.

At the end of the round the fighters nudge apart, turning back to their corners with a nod back to their coaches, faces getting washed down as the American corner crew look the more relaxed at what they are watching.

Round 4:
Daniela is trying to keep the pace where she wants it, drilling several punches clean into the cheeks of Sandra, looking to push her to the outside to control the ring center.

A missed straight by Ruah leaves her open to a counter, a left lands under her ribs, with a right hammering her into her solar plexus to drive wind from Daniela.

Who looks hurt by that as Sandra comes hard at her, punches slam into the mouth of Daniela to knock her head back, sending sweat into the air off Ruah.

Showing she isn't going anywhere if helped, Daniela stands to trade with Sandra, heads getting turned as they trade hooks, a right into the gut of Daniela makes her gasp out.

Clinching up with Sandra, Daniela takes her chance to get a breather, the referee steps in breaks them apart, with Daniela moving into space.

Catching Kubicka to the face with a double jab as she boxes off the back foot, keeping Sandra from getting to the inside for the remainder of the round.

The bell rings with Sandra getting a thumbs up by Mel, who is beaming knowing she was able to hurt Daniela, giving her a lot of confidence clearly.

The opposite can be said in the team USA corner, Catherine wipes down Daniela, as Daniela catches her breath, hands on her head as she tries to open up her lungs.

Round 5:
Stepping out her corner throwing more jabs, Daniela trying to keep Sandra to the outside, wanting to wear down the younger fighter and frustrate her.

The problem is she seems to be losing a step as Sandra slips a jab to hammer in another right to the body, getting into the face of Daniela to work over her ribs.

Pushing back Sandra to open up a gap, Daniela tries to land a big right to give Sandra something to think about, missing with it as SANDRA HAMMERS IN A RIGHT INTO THE LIVER OF DANIELA TO SEND THE AMERICAN DOWN TO ALL FOURS!

Sandra is beaming as she jogs back to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4... Daniela spits out her gumshield as she sucks in air, 5...6...7... Daniela rubs her stomach as she gets to a kneeling position, 8...9...10 she hasn't the energy to get up and is counted out!

Winner Sandra Kubicka KO Round 5

After:
An impressive win for Sandra tonight, one that has her raising her arms in the air as she bounces on her toes, getting whistles from Melanie, who looks proud of her fighter.

Catherine steps into the ring to go check on Daniela, who is helped to stand with her face still a little red from the lack of air she had, getting most of her breathing back under control.

Over comes Sandra to ask Daniela how she is; after a quick chat, a fist bump is exchanged as they show respect, the coaches even share a nod to each other.

Back in their corners, the fighters get cleaned up and a quick drink, with the Rest of the World corner full of joy, compared to a more annoyed look on the face of Daniela.

The referee brings the fighters back to the center of the ring, with Sandra getting her hand raised, making it official that the Rest of the World team is now up two wins to one.

Daniela gives Sandra a thumbs up before she leaves the ring, putting her towel over her head as she heads up the aisle, maybe thinking about how she can get back to being a top fighter after going backwards in the past few years.

While Sandra poses for the cameras hugging Melanie, telling the crowd "thank you" for their support as she blows them kisses.

Stepping outside the ring, Sandra talks to Melanie about her friends, joking about how much fun it will be when the bring home the cup, that remains to be seen as two more fights are to go, is this the win that will lead to the Rest of the World team finally winning the trophy?
