THE EYE @ THE ASYLUM IV: THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL

BEFORE:

"I want to prove," says a hard-eyed Ashley, "That I'm still championship material. And, what better way to do that than to beat the girl who had the belts last year?"

"Ashley's still very, very dangerous," says Kristen with a nod. "But. She's not coming away with a result tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'It's Alright, It's OK', and the singer of that tune, star of 'Carol's Second Act', Ashley Tisdale is on her way to the ring."

Cassie: "Ashley a former Unified Flyweight Champion. Has struggled since her release from Lookout! several years back, but, as Kristen points out, she's still dangerous."

O'Dell: "Tisdale into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's looking plenty good in that coral number..."

McCarthy: "Too skinny for 'Playboy'..."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Helter Skelter' by the Beatles you hear pounding through the arena, and here comes 'The Five-Tool Player', Kristen Stewart!"

McCarthy: "FINALLY! A REAL fighter!"

Tess: "Stewart, as Tisdale pointed out, ALSO a former Unified Flyweight Champion and no doubt looking to get the belts back in 2020. But, if that's going to happen, she needs a win tonight."

O'Dell: "K-Stew with a nod for Mac on the way to the ring. Climbs in and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that lime green number we've seen before. Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes K-Stew. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Weirdo's one REAL fighter. Stewart!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell. K-Stew wants to box at range, of course, as that's the former champ's game. Tisdale not going to play it, though, because Stewart's got the reach. Instead, Ashley working past, getting aggressive inside, backing K-Stew up. Ashley putting Stewart on the defensive..."

Cassie: "Not a bad strategy for Tisdale."

O'Dell: "Working well right now. She's got the younger woman on the back foot and is working hard to keep her there. Tisdale VERY aggressive as K-Stew works to manage with the left, but she isn't having much success doing it. Instead, she's giving ground firing back in counter."

Tess: "We've seen girls give Stewart trouble with these tactics before. For a while, at least."

O'Dell: "Definitely working at the moment. Stewart unable to get off the back foot as Tisdale continues the aggressive pressure. Ashley being careful in there, very sound, playing good defense along with the effective offense. Final seconds ticking off and there's the bell. First goes to Tisdale wide."

McCarthy: "She's up 10-9, but Stewart will get her."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with K-Stew adjusting, doubling up on the jab. She's slowing Ashley down with the left, leaving her out there where Kristen can follow on with hard right hands. Tisdale getting the guard up, working past, getting inside and working aggressively..."

McCarthy: "Stewart gives a little ground and back to range. Kid is SHARP."

O'Dell: "Seeing some back and forth now. Kristen in control when they're at gunnery range. Ashley getting the better of things when she can get inside. This is good stuff from both fighters right now, as tactics rule the day and nobody's really gaining much of an advantage."

Tess: "Both getting into rhythm now."

O'Dell: "Sure are and we are coming down the stretch in the second stanza. Sharp trade there. Best exchange of the fight and both girls landed some solid shot in it. Nobody hurt but everybody's attention gotten. Stewart jabbing, Ashley working forward and there's the bell. Close. K-Stew."

Cassie: "Even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Same tactical stuff as we start the third. All about who gets to the spots they want to get to. Stewart continuing the double-tap jab, making it harder on Ashley, but Tisdale with the guard high, tucking the head, working past to the inside where she gets off in combination..."

Cassie: "Almost NO body work in this one so far..."

O'Dell: "True, but both flyweights have been successful upstairs, scoring well despite solid defense being played on both sides. NICE combination Tisdale, and she backed K-Stew up with it. Stewart back to the left, slowing the older woman, then dropping right hands."

McCarthy: "Tisdale's got to watch that power out there. Stewart hits very well for a fly."

O'Dell: "Ashley very sound both inside and out. She's fought very well in this one. Showing us the stuff that made her a champion several years back. Just ten seconds to go in the stanza. One last exchange and there's the ell. Close. Going to go to Tisdale this time."

Tess: "And, Ashley back on top by one 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Tisdale back to the pressure as we start the fourth. Stewart working the jab, trying to get space to box. Ashley keeping the guard up and GETTING NAILED! Stewart a BEAUTIFUL one-two, opened up the older woman for a right hand by snapping the head back with the jab..."

McCarthy: "And then she DROPPED that right on her!"

O'Dell: "Did, indeed, and now Tisdale is wobbly-butt as Stewart pours on the fire. Kris backing Ashley up with flurry after flurry. Older woman keeping the guard high, giving ground, playing defense, firing back here and there, but K-Stew dominating now..."

Tess: "And, landing some hard shot."

O'Dell: "Down to thirty seconds. Stewart works Tisdale to the ropes and lets the hands go in a BIG way! Kristen trying to finish this thing now, really letting Ashley have it. Tisdale hanging on as the ref looks in closely. He won't watch much more of this, but he doesn't have to. There's the bell. Stewart. Wide."

Cassie: "And, we're even again, at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Stewart looking for the finisher as we start the fifth. Tisdale still looking a little buzzed and Kristen looking to take advantage. She's walking Ashley down behind that hard, accurate left. K-Stew dialed in at the moment, and that's not good news for her opponent..."

Cassie: "Definitely isn't. She's punishing Tisdale right now."

O'Dell: "Ashley game, firing back here and there, trying to stabilize her front, but can't get it done. Instead, K-Stew tossing flurry after accurate flurry at the older woman and DROPPING HER WITH A RIGHT HAND! There's that one-two again, perfectly executed!"

Tess: "This might be over..."

O'Dell: "Stewart to a neutral corner. Tisdale down on her back, staring wide-eyed at the ref. Count at three. Four. Five. Ashley rolling to her belly at six. She's crawling for the ropes now. Seven. Eight. Got the bottom rope at nine, but its way too late. TEN! It's OVER! Ashley still trying to climb the ropes as the count passes her by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is 'The Five-Tool Player', Kristen Stewart!"

McCarthy: "Nothing lucky about THAT!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Jenny McCarthy!"

McCarthy: "I have our winner, Kristen Stewart, and K-Stew, she got aggressive early, but you knew how to deal with that..."

Kristen: "Yeah, girls like to try to get in my grill, and I don't blame them. They aren't going to beat me boxing, so, might as well try it, you know?"

McCarthy: "She didn't go out easy. You hit her some good ones!"

Kristen: "Oh, she's a good fighter, and she's sturdy. She wasn't going to be easy to put away. But, I took my time, kept coming, and, eventually, I got her."
