Pre-Fight: We’re here tonight for an interesting match-up in the bantamweight division as Emilia’s Empresses Saoirse Ronan takes on Belle Boxers’ Willa Holland. Neither of them pay much attention to the press and go straight to the ring. The blonde Irishwoman enters the ring first wearing a green sports bra and green yoga pants, Willa enters shortly after in a yellow top and shorts, they touch gloves and begin at the ring of the bell.

Round 1: Saoirse starts strong, rushing to Willa from the bell, spooking the brunette with rapid jabs and forcing her into retreat, turning the opening round into a cat and mouse game. Saoirse chases after her sticking hooks to each side of Willa's ribs and a nasty haymaker to the cheek, sending her to the ground and ringing her ears. Willa rises at seven with a bruise on her cheek, tries keeping distance letting Saoirse tire out. Saoirse goes all in with a barrage of free-swinging jabs and hooks, sticking Willa at ropes as she resorts to defence. Near the end of the opening round Saoirse's arms get tired of repeated punching and that's when Willa goes on the front sticking a hook to Saoirse's face and another one to her midsection. She follows up with a couple of uppercuts to Saoirse’s belly and a few jabs to her nose. Willa’s last-minute efforts managed to leave a mark on Saoirse’s but she still lost the opening round wide due to early Irish aggression.

Round 2: Willa continues her tactic of playing defensive and waiting for Saoirse to tire out, only this time Saoirse tires out in the first minute of free-swinging jabs as Willa steps to the front again, with much better results. She starts off a few stiff jabs to Saoirse's nose making her raise her hands only to switch to the body with subtle uppercuts bending Saoirse forward as Willa follows up with another uppercut landing on top of her chin and sending the blonde on her knees. Saoirse rises at six but her troubles don't stop there; within a moment, Willa is back on top of her punishing her belly and ribs with uppercuts and hooks, leaving red marks all over her midsection. She goes back upstairs with a right cross and a jabbing series rewarding Saoirse with a bloody nose and lip at the bell. Willa hops to her corner leaving her foe bruised and breathless.

Round 3: Having discouraged her opponent Willa continues her forward assault with barely any resistance from the Irishwoman. She stays near the ropes with her arms raised as Willa rushes her flanks with hooks making her lower her arms only to spanks her face with jab/cross combos. Willa continues the same strategy of making Saoirse unsure of where to defend until she finally drops to her knees at the one-minute mark. With Saoirse back on her feet at six, Willa continues the same strategy but this time Saoirse’s arms are barely raised giving her more room to work with. Willa goes to work, hammering Saoirse's red midsection and her bruised face as well as sticking an occasional jab to her breasts. Saoirse sits in the corner, taking a beating and waiting for the bell. Willa has other plans and sends the blonde down for the second time in the round when a left uppercut shakes her knees as she slides down to the canvas. 6… 7… 8… 9… SAVED BY THE BELL.

Round 4: Big pep-talk comes from Saoirse’s corner; her stablemate Elsa Hosk makes sure she doesn’t give up and raises her spirits as she heads into the fourth. She rises bravely from her stool and with a slight limp looking to meet Willa mid-ring, the brunette does the same, throwing punches when she gets in range. Saoirse mirrors her movements, taking punches but giving back as much. She gets knocked down AGAIN with a right cross but gets up at four and heads right back to the front, surprising Willa with a double hook combo. The brunette throws another right cross, misses and gets hit with a left uppercut on top of her chin. Saoirse continues with a hook series severely hurting her jugs, Willa responds with a couple of jabs to her face but Saoirse doesn’t mind, despite being in a lot of pain she hits back Willa just as hard, losing the round by a hair but making a statement that she’s still in the fight.

Round 5: Fuelled by rage and disbelief that Saoirse got her second wind, Willa heads straight for the battered blonde looking for a knockout. Saoirse doesn't take her chances with another punch exchange and instead picks her battles, keeping distance and patiently waiting for openings, punishing Willa with hooks a hook to her ribcage and a cross on her nose. Slowly but surely she wears her opponent down and scores a knockdown in the second minute when a missed left uppercut leaves Willa open and Saoirse delivers with a haymaker sending the brunette to her back. She’s up at five and heads back to Saoirse without thinking twice but the blonde has other plans sending Willa down AGAIN with a left-right uppercut combo. She beats the count at seven but doesn’t look so combative when she’s up letting Saoirse’s catch her breath before the bell, fully knowing she’s lost the round to Irish willpower.

Round 6: The fighters come out of their corners battered and bruised, Willa shows frustration at not being able to knockout Saoirse. The blonde uses Willa's frustration to her advantage, jabbing for her breasts and baiting her into a punch only to spin her head around with a right hook, then going to her body with uppercuts. Willa hastily responds with a left jab, misses and gets smacked on the mouth with a right cross as she takes a step back. Saoirse keeps on the attack, pushing Willa backwards and eventually to ropes with a jabbing session drawing blood from her nose and pinning the brunette at ropes. Willa finds herself stuck and taking a beating while Saoirse keeps slamming those red hips with uppercuts and hooks, taking Willa's breath away (literally). She throws jab/hook combos to Willa's head, leaving her with bruises around her midsection and a cut cheek at the bell.

Round 7: Saoirse continues her assault proving to be in better condition despite the blood and bruises Willa gave her earlier in the fight. She pounds the brunette's rack with hooks, her guts with uppercuts and her face with jabs making her defensive efforts useless. Willa holds on near the ropes, throwing an occasional punch at Saoirse but there isn't enough power behind those punches to do any significant damage as the blonde just keeps bombarding her body and face until Willa goes down at the 90-second mark. She beats the count barely at nine and gets immediately tossed back to ropes as the beating continues. Repeated uppercuts to the belly and guts prove too much for poor Willa who goes down for the second time in the round 7… 8… 9… 10… You’re out.

Post-Fight: Saoirse celebrates for a short while, she’s exhausted after winning her toughest fight yet. “These types of challenges are what makes the FCBA a great, the constant need of learning about yourself and your opponents is required for a successful and consistent fighter and I think that I proved more than capable after tonight’s victory. Willa was a great challenge and I wish her a long and successful career in the FCBA, who knows, maybe someday we’ll meet in the ring again.” Saoirse tells the press.
