(Chimera vs Free Agent)

Intro:
A return of an old rivalry here tonight, Charlize Theron and Jennifer Lopez have had quite the feud since the early days of their careers, though much older they still clearly have the need to fight.

Charlize is 44 years old; she stands 5'9 ½, holding a record of 255 wins, 161 coming by way of knockout, 116 defeats, with 12 draws, she has held 26 titles in her legendary career, she is also in the Tractorpull Hall of Fame.

Jennifer is 50 years old; she stands 5'6, holding a record of 37 wins, 21 coming by way of knockout, 30 defeats with 3 draws, she is a former FCBA lightweight champion.

These two have fought six times, in 1999 they fought five times, with both women battling to be the best of the best at that time, the score between them is actually tied at three wins a piece, twenty one years since this rivalry begun we may finally have our answer of who is the better fighter.

The build up to the fight saw both women doing press events around Las Vegas, even doing photoshoots together as this was the legacy fight, like if Rocky and Apollo Creed had a third pro fight, not just a freeze frame in the third movie.

The last event they did of course was for the FCBA Network, hall of famer herself Lucy Liu would act as a moderator as the two fighters came on the stage from opposite sides, the handshake between them was tense as both knew this was their final chance before the bout to lay their feelings on the line.

Lucy asks Charlize first what the rivalry means to her, Jennifer is quick to butt in though, telling Lucy "I can tell you what it means to Charlize, I am the one woman she can't admit pushed her to the limit, in your autobiographies and when you talk to bums like your friend Tess (Valmore) you never mention me once, even though I gave you the best series of fights you ever had, f*** the crusade event, I pushed you to the limit every time!" clearly Jennifer had held that rant back a long time.

Charlize just smirks as she asks "is that so Jennifer? That is why when you were a coach at the Chimera stable you wouldn't talk to me unless you needed to? Trust me you should have come talk to me sooner, I'd have given you a perfect picture where you stood in my career, don't flatter yourself too much" Jennifer clenching her fists as Lucy looks worried, security edging closer to the set.

"You know if we discussed this I'd have been fired sooner from that crappy stable, hell I am sure Stephanie (McMahon) only hired me to needle you, maybe I should have called you out there, we could have fought in private and instead I am going to beat you ass in front of a world wide audience" that makes Charlize just mockingly applaud.

The blonde replies "Jennifer maybe you are right why you were hired, we both know you were fired because other then your conditioning, you have never been a hundredth the boxer I am, you were always just a lucky puncher, that's why I have never cared to list you amongst my greatest rivals, going ten rounds with you was a slog, not one that I care about" Jennifer's Latin temper makes her stand up right to blow.

Security with Lucy calm her down enough to sit back down, Charlize grinning as if she is playing Jennifer like a fiddle, Jennifer never was one for mind games, while Charlize normally isn't, it looks too easy for her.

Sitting down with her fists clenched on her lap, J-Lo leans forwards as a thought makes her grin "it is funny now I think about how you and Tess have been shouting about you being the GOAT, how the new generation of fans will know you are the greatest because you are that damn good even now" her grin widening as she leans forwards.

"Imagine how much it will crush your ego and that lanky windbag when I batter you into dust, you don't respect me so how bad are you if you can't beat me huh?" Says Jennifer as she stands, security steps in again in case Lopez has a go at Theron, instead she walks off set as the blonde smirks at her as if to say believe what you want.

Fight night; out comes Charlize first with Christina Hendricks working her corner, she takes the crowds loud roar for her in her stride, a big fight feel is the norm for her as she jogs down the aisle, getting a few fist bumps from those wishing her luck in the front row of the crowd.

She is of course wearing her famous gold sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves that fittingly suit the "Golden Goddess" of celebrity boxing, her blonde hair is tied into a ponytail.

Stepping into the ring, Charlize blows a few kisses to the crowd, before she settles into her warm up as Christina tells her to out box Jennifer from start to finish, prove your point with these (tapping Charlize's gloves) not your mouth OK? Charlize nods in reply.

Now out comes J-Lo, she heads down the aisle looking in a bad mood, her coach following as she enjoys a loud reaction too, maybe just less then Charlize but it is hard to tell.

She is wearing a black sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves with her brunette hair tied back into a braid, she is definitely in fight mode tonight.

Getting inside the ring, Jenny from the Block seems to be here as Jennifer trash talks Charlize, who just laughs at her, Jennifer threatening "let's see how you laugh eating through a straw bytch!" Her coach reminding her to keep her cool.

The referee risks their own health by bringing the fighters to the center, coaches stand close by to make sure it doesn't explode before the opening bell, Jennifer continuing to throw insults as she isn't calm.

The fact that there is no glove touch tells you the bad blood between these two, returning to their corners with eyes firmly locked, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell they come towards the center of the ring with eyes full of fury, Jennifer trying to close the gap straight away, taking a few punches to her face, the rest to her gloves as Charlize moves around the outside of the ring.

The GOAT knowing Jennifer's Latin temper would make her do this from the off, using it against Jennifer in the opening minute, enjoying jabbing her back, marking up the gorgeous face of Lopez.

But a feint by J-Lo surprises Charlize, with the real attack being a straight into the mouth of the blonde, Jennifer stepping inside to work the body of Charlize with short sharp hooks.

Charlize forced to fight in Jennifer's game, the inside fighting isn't a technical masterclass, Jennifer landing some overhand punches to the cheeks of Theron to force her to retreat back.

While Theron can still land some sweet two punch combos, it is Jennifer setting the pace and forcing the issue on the inside, knocking back the blonde towards a corner with three hard shots to the abs.

At the bell the referee nudges them apart as Jennifer trash talks Charlize, she wants her opponent to know this isn't going to be a walk in the park, well she certainly did that with her aggressive look out the gates.

Round 2:
Sticking to her game plan, Jennifer looks to rush Charlize and make this a physical fight, strength versus strength as she clearly believes she wins those exchanges.

Problem is she has to get past one of the most feared jabs in celebrity boxing history, Charlize finding holes in her opponent's guard, now doubling up her jab as she doesn't want to be bulldozed like the last round.

Jennifer does land a crisp left cross so she can step inside with two more body shots, they bump shoulders as they go body to body, trading hard shots inside.

Till Charlize is the one to change things up, using her left forearm to create space, she lands two rights to the side of Jennifer's head to make her rival retreat while covering up more tightly.

Switching up her targets as she takes the center of the ring for herself, Charlize is reminding Jennifer why she is such a legend, her boxing skills still as sharp as ever.

At the bell Charlize doesn't say a word or show much emotion, she is in all business mode tonight, keen to shut up Jennifer once and for all it seems after all these years of pent up hate on both sides of this.

Round 3:
Still Jennifer comes forwards, her guard is a little more tighter so it isn't as easy for Charlize to hit her, still the cheeks of Jennifer are getting a peppering by the straight punches of the blonde.

Timing her attacks better though, Jennifer manages to slip a straight so she can land a left hook under the ribs of Theron, a right cross lands up top to turn the head.

Jennifer takes the center now, with Charlize working hard to keep her back to the outside, for both women being let's say middle aged, they are working a hell of a pace as neither can be seen as unfit.

It is playing to Lopez's game plan it seems, she is the one working her opponents body, trying to wear down Charlize, even the rare times they end up clinching, she is pressing Charlize against the ropes with her body.

Late in the round Charlize manages to land a right across the face of her rival as she comes in with a left, now it is Theron pushing back Jennifer towards the rope, she takes a page out of the singers song sheet to switch to working the body.

The round ends with Charlize staring coldly at Jennifer, who again is trash talking her, referee needing to order them back to their corners as they look ready to keep going at the drop of a hat.

Sitting on their stools getting cleaned up, Jennifer is mouthing insults at Charlize, trying to get into the head of the golden goddess, who isn't biting easily.

Round 4:
Bobbing and weaving a little more as she moves side to side, Charlize is trying to be a harder target to pin down, slamming stiff punches into the face of her opponent to the delight of her corner crew.

Especially as first blood goes to Charlize, she has bust the bottom lip of Lopez, who is wincing when she gets hit there, Charlize dictating the pace so far in this round.

At the half way stage though Jennifer shows she won't be kept back, parrying a straight so she can move in closer, J-Lo lands a right to the abs of her rival, then a left across her jaw to knock some sweat off Theron.

Who clinches up when her back touches the ropes, referee needed to break them up as they trade a few rabbit punches to backs of heads, both warned to keep it clean, bumping fists with their opponent to say sorry, neither looks to mean it.

Getting back to space though helps Charlize work better, Jennifer having some success getting inside but when the bell things, this has been the Golden Goddesses best round in the fight.

Christina smiling as Charlize returns, still the stunning model/actress just stares hard at Jennifer, this might be the most focus Charlize has had to be all year, certainly showing Jennifer more respect through her actions then her words.

Round 5:
Both fighters are covered in a sheen of sweat that makes their bodies look more impressive, neither holding back on their punches as that sweat flies off their bodies.

They trade away on the inside, bashing at bodies as Jennifer had got in close after slipping a straight, heads grind as they try to bully the other back.

Smartly though Charlize pushes Jennifer with her left behind her head, sending an uppercut into the mouth of J-Lo, WHO CRIES OUT BEFORE A LEFT HOOK SENDS HER TO HER LEFT SIDE ON THE CANVAS!

Lopez's corner isn't happy with the holding the head, referee ignores them as the count begins, 1...2...3...4.. Jennifer pushes herself up to a knee with a shake of her head, 5...6...7.. Tapping her cheeks with her gloves as she tries not to get too angry, 8.. Up gets Jennifer as she stares past the referee to Theron.

The action resumes and Charlize has a full minute to finish this, landing several punches that snap back Jennifer's head, the singer now needing to clinch to slow down assault she is being subjected to.

Soon the round comes to an end with Charlize showing the first sign of a smile, returning to her corner with Christina praising her for a great, knowing that was a big step to winning this fight.

Round 6:
Thudding her gloves together as she comes out her corner, Jennifer is trying to box more now, maybe needing a little extra time to fully recover from being put down.

Issue is that Charlize looks more comfortable relying on boxing, she is drilling in shots to cheeks of Lopez, making them look puffy as Charlize sternly stares at her.

Ducking a straight so she can counter with a right hook to the body, Jennifer shows she isn't done yet, a left cross to the jaw of her rival allows Jennifer to back up Theron towards a set of ropes.

But Charlize nifty footwork along with a stiff double jab to the top of Jennifer's head allows her to get away from the ropes, back in control is Charlize with her hard straight punches sending sweat off the head of the Latin fighter.

Heading into the final thirty seconds, Charlize tries to add more hooks to hurt Jennifer, missing with a left hook though as Jennifer moves in with an uppercut that knocks back the Chimera woman a step.

They go toe to toe in close, a grandstand finish to the round to get the crowd on their feet, at the bell they shove apart, with Charlize returning to her corner with Jennifer just scowling at her.

While her corner are happy she is still in this fight, they urge Jennifer to fight a little smarter if she is to win this fight, both sets of fans chanting for their fighter in this electric atmosphere.

Round 7:
Bobbing and weaving more as she comes out her corner, Jennifer trying to find more ways to get inside, a more cagey start to proceedings, both women starting to breath a little harder as the pace they've set would tire out women half their age.

That jab of Charlize is still a pain for Jennifer, it is stinging her face as Jennifer tries to get to that promised land of Theron's exquisite body with those fists.

Feinting with her left, Jennifer slips under a jab to land right that looks to have lifted the ribs of Charlize, who cries out as she is hurting, Jennifer not wasting time building the pressure back up on her bitter rival.

Backing Charlize into a corner, it does look like a bruise is forming on Charlize's left side of her body, she clinches up with Jennifer, both taking a moment to breath, Jennifer making it hard for Theron by pressing her against the turnbuckles.

Broken apart Charlize looks troubled, she hasn't the sting behind her jab as Jennifer is bashing her way to the inside, when the bell rings there is a look of relief on Charlize's face, getting an ice pack onto that bruise to numb the pain.

While Jennifer looks to be getting her second wind, she stands raring to go as her coach washes her down, reminding her that a wounded animal is still very dangerous.

Round 8:
Charlize actually has switched to southpaw, trying to protect her left side as she doesn't look bad doing it, though she still hasn't much power in her punches like before.

Allowing Jennifer to power through them and bash back Charlize, gamely the legend is fighting back as hard as she can, barks come from the fighters as they try to hurt each other with hooks and uppercuts.

Landing an overhand right to the side of Charlize's head, that opens up the Golden goddess, TWO RIGHTS INTO THAT BAD SIDE OF CHARLIZE AND SHE IS FORCED TO HER KNEES, CRADLING HER SIDE AS THE REFEREE HAS TO STOP J-LO LANDING ANOTHER SHOT!

The Charlize fans can't believe it as the count begins, 1...2...3.. Charlize spits her gumshield out as she tries to catch her breath, 4...5...6.. It looks to be hurting to breath right now, 7...8.. Charlize shakes her head over to her corner, admitting defeat as 9...10 she is counted out!

Winner Jennifer Lopez KO Round 8

After:
If this is the end of this rivalry, boy did they both leave it all in the ring, it doesn't mean though that Jennifer is done with Charlize as she marches right over to her.

Pushing Charlize's face into her sweaty abs as a massive sign of disrespect, Jennifer yells "I told you that I'd f*** you up! You always knew I was stronger, faster and tougher then you! Now you can't hide who the better woman is bytch" Charlize weakly trying to break free from the humiliation.

Christina rushing into the ring to stop it, Jennifer just stares coldly at her as she releases Charlize, telling Christina "word of advice red, don't rock the boat with this bytch or they'll fire you" with Christina staring daggers at Lopez.

Who heads to her corner to get a hug from all her corner, telling her how proud they are of her rolling back the years to win this personal fight, Jennifer admitting her cheeks sting like hell as she gets ice on them.

Back with Charlize, she get ice on her side, thanking Christina for her help and sorry she let her down, the redhead says "no you did not, tonight just wasn't meant to be, whatever Jennifer says, you are still the better woman in my eyes between you two"

There's a round of applause as Charlize is helped out the ring, reporter and friend of Charlize leaves her seat to go check on her, with Charlize telling her "just a flesh wound Tess, go back to your seat and do your job OK, I'll see you in the gym on Monday" Tess looks upset but nods as she knows how stubborn Charlize is.

Inside the ring Jennifer ignores all that, focused on being at the center of the ring with just her and the referee, her hand being raised to her screaming fans delight, she looks vindicated that she is then Charlize no matter what era of boxing they are in.

Alicia Atout steps into the ring so Jennifer can give the fans a quick speech, congratulating Jennifer on her win before she holds the microphone up for Lopez to speak her mind.

"I told the world that Charlize was scared, hell even after years of sitting on the bench waiting for a fight, she wouldn't dare challenge me, you all see why! Charlize isn't better then me! Never was and never will be!" Jennifer certainly speaking her mind, not holding back.

Smiling as she looks around the arena "I have to admit I missed nights like this, so maybe I call Beyonce, maybe Mariah Carey or hell maybe Halle Berry, I can own these cougar bouts and all those bytches that dare to mess with me, I'll always be Jenny from the block and you don't f*** with me" handing the microphone off to Alicia before she leaves the ring.

As Jennifer leaves the ring and signs some autographs of fans at ringside, if these two are to meet again it might be in a year with Charlize's schedule filled to the brim, will Jennifer keep on fighting again?
