BEFORE: The cougar division is back in business with two most prominent German models of the last 20+ years ready to fight it out tonight. Heidi Klum's boxing career didn't quite mirror her success on the catwalk and she's been mostly used as the Asylum PPV punchbag over the last decade. Meanwhile Claudia Schiffer basically had her boxing soul stolen by Cindy Crawford way back in 1999 and several experts are surprised to see her back in the ring after all those years: "Okay, so it's been a while since I got into an official fight. But with Cindy and Daisy Fuentes duking out punches again I said to myself, what the heck, I'll give this another try! I've been sparring with Cassidy Freeman and Brooklyn Decker lately just to get the feeling back and let's be honest, I have to get Heidi Klum out of the way before I set my sights on these other cougars. I've always been the German supermodel Alpha and Heidi had her moments, a lot of them even but she's still out of my league!" (laughs).

Round 1:
Heidi's been the more active fighter over the last several years but she gets stunned by the early jabbing drive that splits her high guard and drops her into immediate coverage. If anyone thought Claudia will take it easy on her comeback then think again because the older blonde delivers a high-tempo assault that Heidi struggles to embrace in the early going. She gets wobbled seemingly by every punch as Claudia blasts her up the middle and backs her into the ropes at the one-minute mark. Heidi tries to swing back but bounces off the forearms and eats more nasty hits upstairs that make her yelp in pain and slump on visibly soft knees thereafter. All Schiffer here in the opener but that rust is still there as she can't drop the fellow German for the count despite dominating the action. She leaves Klum all wrapped up in the dreaded earmuff and signs off her charge with a belting shot on the navel right at the bell.

Round 2:
Heidi can't look any worse than she did in the opener and she manages to beat Claudia for a quick overhand to start the second before she booms a right hand in her compatriot's chest which makes the older blonde shriek in pain. Heidi comes in hot after that and buries her mitts in Claudia's midsection which allows her to dominate the action thereafter. Schiffer struggles to stretch her elbows and her attempts to switch back into mid-distance are ineffective as Klum begins to stack up punches into her midsection and drags her butt-in-ropes down the stretch. Claudia clinches her foe but Heidi still slips through with a promising belter and seemingly intends to chop the older blonde in half as she lands more vicious gut shots in the final minute. Ugh! Claudia appears to be hurting at the bell but still sends the fellow German a lenghty death stare before turning back to her corner where Eva Mendes tells her she's doing a great job so far.

Round 3:
Both Alpha blondes - if only one of them is a true blonde - trade major blows early in the second and as usual in cougar fights, fatigue is the prime concern so these vets would rather settle this one quickly. Claudia smacks Heidi across the lips several times but has a hard time stopping the younger woman from punishing her midsection and Klum's tactics are more draining down the stretch as Schiffer wobbles to her side and tries to clinch her foe during the second minute. Heidi has noticed the body assault does the trick so she piles more shots even when getting clinched, she nudges the older blonde onto the ropes and works the right hand on the double making sure Claudia really feels those guts shots here - and she does! Schiffer slumps into more spasms come the final stretch and Eva Mendes doesn't sound so calm anymore but Heidi simply reigns supreme blasting her compatriot to the body and shouting back at the LCA entourage once the bell halts her charge.

Round 4:
Claudia looks vunerable now and tries to bide her time in mid-range but Heidi chases her down and even those long legs can't save Schiffer from getting blasted to the body. She circled herself back into the corner and Heidi barges her in the chest before ducking underneath a half-hearted swing over the top. Cue in a belting menace on the breasts and there's Claudia yelping in pain on the ropes again! She tries to fire back from behind the guard but bounces off the top of Klum's forehead and gets caught by a vicious chin shot on the inside. Heidi doubles down on the body assault route though and drills the exposed midriff to the point she has Claudia seething in German but there's no stopping the former Victoria's Secret model who pounds away in fury downstairs while Schiffer checks out and shouts in pain with her eyes closed. She can't even clinch the raging compatriot and is clobbered into a standstill as the ref shows her mercy and JUMPS IN TO STOP THE BEATING!! Heidi almost takes the guy down as she tries to send one more shot but finally lets go and walks back to her corner with both arms raised in the air. TKO4 Heidi Klum!!!

AFTER: This was a crowd-pleasing dust up between two German supermodel cougars! Claudia looked like she never went away in the opening round but Heidi stormed back to destroy her midsection thereafter. There's not a single scratch on Claudia's face but she took all the punishment and then some downstairs tonight! Heidi knows she's proven her cougar worth and that's a particulary valuable scalp given how Claudia was always the German model #1 since the early 90s. "Hey, Claudia! You really should have stayed in the gym! Make sure I didn't break your ribs there!", she shouts back at the LCA crew after her arm is raised during the post-fight verdict announcement.

This wasn't exactly a soul-stealing performance from Klum but it does raise a question whether Claudia's comeback mission will actually fail on the launch pad instead of taking the cougar division by storm? She's booked a second fight versus Maria Grazia Cucinotta next month already and Eva Mendes says it's very much going ahead as planned: "We're not backing off! No way! Claudia is still money and I don't care what that fake blonde bimbo Heidi says!"
