(Girls Friday vs Lookout! Atlantic Boxing)

Intro:
British flyweights battle it out now, Elizabeth Henstridge and Jenna-Louise Coleman put their friendship aside tonight to try to be the dominant fighter.

Elizabeth is 32 years old; she stands 5'4, holding a record of 27 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 17 defeats.

Jenna is 34 years old; she stands 5'2, holding a record of 56 wins, 53 coming by way of knockout, 17 defeats with 1 draw, she is a former BBU flyweight champion and a former FCBA JMD champion.

Two years ago they met in the ring for the first time, Jenna would come out on top with a fifth round knockout, though both have had a mixed bag of results this year.

They were interviewed in their locker rooms before the fight, Alicia Atout first getting the thoughts of Elizabeth as she stretches, stopping to wave Alicia over with a beaming smile.

"Hey Alicia! I can not wait to get in their with Jenna, we kinda buried the hatchet after our last fight, though I know to most in my stable she is public enemy number one" Liz laughs as she looks excited by the fight.

Getting a little more serious, Elizabeth adds "while I like to joke and try to keep relaxed before a fight, this fight means a lot to me, Jenna is very talented and if I can get a win back on her, well it will hopefully be a step in the right direction after my let's say misfortune lately" Ming-Na Wen shakes her hear as she comes over.

The coach telling Alicia "misfortune isn't the right word, Elizabeth hasn't allowed herself to really go at the top opposition as she should have, tonight I want to see her batter Jenna did that bytch thinks she is back in that blue box on the Doctor Who set" Elizabeth nods at that.

Alicia then heads into the Lookout! Locker room, finding Jenna chatting with her coach Nicole Ritchie on what to expect tonight, they stop to wave Alicia to pull up a seat.

"Hi Alicia, I can give you a few quick words before I have to start getting ready, Liz's butt isn't going to kick itself after all" says a relaxed looking Jenna.

Coleman then says "me and Liz are on more friendlier terms then before, doesn't mean anything when that bell rings, she is a good boxer but I am a great one, so I'm not breaking a sweat over this fight" confidence exuding from her as she grins.

Fighting time, out comes Elizabeth with Ming-Na and cutwoman Eva Carneiro, she smiles to her fans as she waves to them, heading down the aisle with an almost skip to her step.

She is wearing a grey sports bra, shorts and shoes, her surname is written across the waistband in black letters, she has black gloves, while her hair is tied into a ponytail.

Entering the ring and heading to the center, Elizabeth bows to each side before heading to her corner, all her supporters chanting her name as she shadow boxes to get into the zone.

Now out comes Jenna, Nicole is walking behind her as the former flyweight champion throws a few punches on her way to the ring, wanting to keep limber for the task ahead.

She is wearing her traditional tardis blue sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair is tied back into a ponytail too as she steps through the ropes into the ring.

Mounting the bottom ropes in her corner, Jenna enjoys her own loud reception from the fans, jumping back down so she can go through her own routine as the crowd chants both women's names.

Coming to the center of the ring, they lock eyes as any friendship they've built up over the past two years is on hold, instead there is clear tension between the two.

Asked to touch gloves, they slam them into their opponent's, not much love there as they return to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Both fighters come out with jabbing attacks, looking to get their ranges sorted out quickly, each has a staunch defense though as shown by them blocking the blows and trying to counter.

It is Jenna who scores the first meaningful punch after the opening thirty seconds, slipping a jab to move in closer to dig in a short sharp right into the ribs of her opponent, landing an overhand left after.

Trying to build off that Jenna dips down to try to go to the body, getting hit with a double jab square onto her forehead to keep her on the outside, Elizabeth moving more side to side to keep Jenna from getting in close.

The double jab of Elizabeth is doing it's job well, keeping Jenna at range, while setting up some nice right crosses to score points, controlling the pace of the opening round well.

Jenna does get inside to land two hooks to the body, getting pushed back though before taking a jab/straight to her mouth, a left cross follows after to turn her head to the side just as the bell rings.

The Girls Friday corner satisfied that was a good round, not the most exciting in history but Liz step up her punches better as the round went on to land some good rights.

Round 2:
Hoping to keep the momentum from the opening round, Henstridge keeps doubling and tripling her jab while on the move, already beginning to mark up the cheeks of Coleman.

Who after struggling to find a way around that jab in the opening minute, uses feints to bait Elizabeth, Jenna then spots an opening to land an overhand left to the cheek of her fellow English lass.

Using little nudges with her left, Jenna is hoping to keep her opponent off balance enough, so she can land her hand shots as it looks like she wants to maul Henstridge on the inside.

Powering Liz onto the ropes, Jenna lands two short sharp hooks under the ribs of the Agents of Shield star, forcing her to clinch up to force the referee to break them apart.

Final twenty seconds of the round, Jenna goes looking to move inside again, gets clipped to the cheek with a left cross/straight combo to ward her back, the bell rings as Liz just holds back another straight punch.

Much better round from Jenna there, showing her power and strong inside fighting game to great effect, Nicole telling her that was beautiful, if she keeps that up it will be a short night.

Round 3:
Trading on the inside to start as Jenna looks to keep on the front foot, both land hard punches to the others body, some stray shots land to the kidneys as the referee warns them to keep it clean.

Nudging back Jenna with her left shoulder, Elizabeth lands a right hook across the cheek of Coleman, following up with a double jab square into her nose to ward her back further.

Jenna covering up more tightly when her nostrils start trickling blood, Elizabeth getting more aggressive as she is looking relaxed now she isn't under as much pressure from the smaller fighter.

Not that Jenna doesn't land some sweet pushes out of her guard, hitting Liz with overhand punches as the Girls Friday fighter is leaving her guard a little too open.

But it is mostly Elizabeth landing the clean shots, finding gaps through to the abs of Coleman or swinging some nifty hooks around the guard to knock some sweat flying.

The round comes to a close with Henstridge coming straight back at Coleman, a good statement round from Liz as Ming-Na tells her to keep smacking the nose of Jenna till she quits.

Round 4:
Slamming several punches around the nose of Jenna, Elizabeth is hoping to push her back to the outside of the ring, taking the center so she can work away.

A missed right cross from Liz though leaves her open to an overhand left to her cheek, then an uppercut knocks her onto her heels, head snapping back as she gets driven backwards.

Ending up in a corner, Liz covers up as Jenna opens up on her, slugging her to the body to try to open her up top, instead Henstridge clinches up to Coleman to force the referee to break them apart.

Once apart and into space again, Liz does manage to land a crisp jab/straight to the nose of Jenna, making her cry out as she is driven backwards now.

Another mistake though as they enter the final forty seconds sees Liz miss with a left hook, eating a right to the body before a left hook smacks her to her jaw.

Back goes Henstridge to her heels again, the bell saving her from more punishment, Jenna getting a nod from Nicola to tell her good job, there's a tense feel in both corners as both are trading rounds as readily as they are punches so far.

Round 5:
There's a bit more fire from both women to start, going toe to toe as they look to break apart from the routine they've settled into, the crowd loving seeing sweat fly off their impressive bodies and beautiful faces.

Jenna gets in closer to land two rights to the body, getting clipped to her ear by a right cross, before she gets wrestled around towards the ropes by Liz, the referee breaking them apart.

The next time they come together, Elizabeth lands a nice jab/right hook to knock Jenna's head around, forcing back the former champion towards a corner with several crisp punches between her mitts to her face.

Both fire hard shots as Jenna is trying to fight out of the corner, when she takes two hard hooks to either cheek, forcing her to hold onto Henstridge, looking relieved to be out the corner when they are pried apart.

The final minute sees Jenna make a comeback as she dips under a straight, to land two hard rights into the stomach of Liz, landing an overhand left to the chin of Henstridge to knock her to her heels.

The bell rings to end the round with both women passing by each other, looking to the ceiling as this is being hard fought by both, the Girls Friday camp not getting too excited of another round seemingly on the board, wanting to break the pattern of this fight.

Round 6:
They meet near the center with Jenna using her left forearm to open up space, she lands an overhand right across the chin of her opponent to turn her head.

Suddenly she looks like she has found another gear, bashing back Liz towards a corner, with Henstridge trying to clinch up but getting a shove to her chest with a left forearm.

Elizabeth trying to fight back as they enter the second minute, but she eats a right across her chin again, ANOTHER RIGHT HOOK LANDS FLUSH AND DOWN GOES HENSTRIDGE TO HER RIGHT SIDE!

The Coleman fans are roaring as she pumps her right fist into the air when heading to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Elizabeth is blinking as she turns to her right side, 5...6...7.. She doesn't seem to have the wear with all to get up, 8...9...10 Elizabeth is counted out!

Winner Jenna-Louise Coleman KO Round 6

After:
While arguably it was harder then it was two years ago, the result is the same between these two Jenna with a picture perfect right hook to get her second career win of Elizabeth.

The winner turning to mount the bottom ropes behind her, grinning as she flexes her arms for her fans, who are chanting "there's only one Jenna Coleman!" Making her laugh.

The loser meanwhile is helped up to sit on her stool, Liz looking bitterly disappointed in herself, she competed valiantly here but that is little comfort when she has lost again.

Over to Jenna as they seem to return to being friendly, Jenna putting her right arm around Elizabeth's shoulder, consoling her as she tells her "God you have gotten better, you almost had me there" Liz putting on a brave face as she thanks her for that.

Ming-Na tells Jenna that Liz needs to go to the back to be checked on, with Coleman nodding before telling Liz "I'll see you and Maisie later for drinks OK?" With her friend again nodding with a smile.

She doesn't look in too bad a shape now the knockout fog is wearing off her, it seems more like Ming-Na wants to take Elizabeth out of the situation, acting more as a friend then a coach right now.

Back in the ring after getting wiped down and a drink, Jenna gets her hand raised to make the result official, she gives the thumbs up to her fans as they shout their support for her.

She'll be hoping tonight is a catalyst for more success in an FCBA ring in future, Nicole certainly hopes so as she tells Jenna to use tonight as a springboard to resume kicking arse through the division.

They leave the ring together, Jenna holding her gloves as she smiles more then she has lately, the FCBA might have to be careful of a resurgence from Coleman.
