Before:

While this fight may not be a title fight, few would deny that there are definite title implications for whoever wins tonight. And to raise the stakes a bit more, there’s been a good bit of history between the two stables, with Karen Gillan jumping ship from Lookout Atlantic to go to Fates and Taylor Swift feuding with Kate Upton.

The press room is raucous as the girls get down and immediately start talking trash.

“Elizabeth,” Lovato starts, “When Fates said he was going to make cuts to the roster, everyone thought it would be you. You never win when it matters, and you definitely aren’t going to start tonight.”

Olsen fires right back, “You’re what, one of your last four? Your time is over, Demi. I’m going to make it one of your last five and make sure you fall. Hard.”

Clearly, there is going to be no love lost tonight, regardless of who wins.

For the fight, Olsen is the first girl to make her way to the ring, accompanied by Ana Beatriz Barros. Lizzie’s wearing a pink sports bra with matching gloves and black trunks, her hair up in a bun for the fight. Lovato makes her way to the ring moments later, donning a navy sports bra with matching trunks and orange gloves. The two girls stare at each other coldly before the bell sounds, and off we go for ten rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:

Lizzie goes right after Lovato from the bell, using her extra height and reach to keep Demi at arms’ length – literally. Olsen taking potshots at Lovato early, striking her forehead with a solid right and snapping the singer’s head backwards as the Lookout boxer has to yield ground. Lizzie cautiously steps forward, guard up, making quick straight punches before retreating prior to a Lovato response. Elizabeth makes good work of Demi, digging her punches into Lovato’s ribs as the singer covers her head while occasionally throwing a shot at the singer’s money-maker. In the third minute, Lovato shifts tactics, darting in close to Olsen and pressing the tempo. Lizzie caught a bit off guard as Demi starts slinging rights and lefts against the bigger and older girl, pounding Lizzie’s right side. Olsen now on the retreat as Lovato starts working over the rest of the Avenger’s body in the waning seconds before the bell. It’s a close round to start, but Olsen edges out ahead on points, close.

Round 2:

The two girls start out the second round circling each other, but this time, Demi keeps just out of Elizabeth’s range. Olsen tries to corner Lovato but the signer escapes and digs a vicious right into Olsen’s ribs that draws a wince out of the actress. The singer quickly follows up to Olsen’s chin and the Fates fighter is on her back heels, covering up and desperately looking for a way to stop Lovato as the singer absolutely goes to town and smokes the older girl with two rights to her chin and knocks her into the ropes before Lizzie finds a desperation right to Lovato’s face. Olsen quickly finds a left follow up into Lovato’s right cheek and the brunette actress escapes the ropes. But Demi is right back on Lizzie, driving short, powerful punches into the actress’ chest and torso, thumping Olsen under the actress backs off and keeps her distance for the remainder of the round. No questions as to the result of this frame – Demi Lovato takes the second on points, wide.

Round 3:

The third round starts as the second did, with both girls circling each other, vying for some type of advantage. Lizze again tries to play at range, but Demi starts shifting to a hit and run style, forcing the older girl to have to commit, then the singer fires off a couple blows before retreating. Demi again goes back to Elizabeth’s body, hammering blows into the actress’ torso until the Avenger drops back and lines up a solid right to Demi’s chin. Lovato recoils and Olsen lines up a straight right to her nose and we’re back in the middle of the ring. Lizzie goes right and Demi trades blows with her, both girls hammering away on the other, getting closer and closer in the ring until they’re practically on top of each other and grappling, at which point the ref has to separate the two and the round ends. It’s a tight round, and the judges determine that it was a tie.

Round 4:

Lizzie again the aggressor, nailing a punch right into Demi’s mouth at the start. Lovato counters with a right that barely hits the moving actress in her ear and Olsen drives a right into Lovato’s nose, snapping her head backwards. Demi is in full-on retreat mode as Elizabeth bounds after the smaller brunette, thumping her body. Lizzie feints left then splits Demi’s gloves with a right that connects with the singer’s nose again and knocking Demi into the ropes. Demi’s on her heels, but she keeps her wits and keeps her guard up, counterpunching Olsen when possible, landing one good shot to the Avenger’s face that allows Lovato to get out of the ropes – but only briefly, as Olsen drives her right back into them and Demi clinches to force a break. But Olsen quickly regains control thanks to predicting a move to the left from Lovato, and Lizzie knocks her back again just as the bell rings. Lizzie Olsen takes the round on points, wide.

Round 5:

As the fight nears its halfway point, Elizabeth Olsen seems to only be getting stronger and stronger as she again takes the fight to Demi Lovato and absolutely clobbers Demi with a right hook to her chin and Demi is wobbly! Lovato covering up as Olsen again goes body, pounding Demi’s right side until she falls back into the ropes. Lizzie unloads lefts and rights into Demi, the singer battered around in the ropes, including two vicious blows that split her guard. Lovato lunges out with a desperation blow and gets enough of Olsen’s chin to squeak out of the ropes. Elizabeth doesn’t take long to recover though, and she connects with another big right to Lovato and the singer still doesn’t go down! Olsen landing all of her blows but somehow Lovato is still standing, but she can’t get any offense going as the bigger Olsen just drives her into the ropes and the bell rings. Lizzie Olsen is grooving, winning the round by shutout, and Demi Lovato is left to wonder what she needs to change.

Round 6:

Lookout frantically gestures to Demi in the corner while Barros tells Olsen to keep on doing what she’s doing. Liz yet again comes out of her corner strong, throwing a big punch at Demi’s head, but Demi bobs out of the way and drives a short uppercut into Olsen’s chin and Lizzie’s legs buckle! Lovato slams a left into Olsen’s mouth and the Avenger stumbles backwards into the ropes and on comes Demi! Demi pounds away on Elizabeth, hammering her guard and body, preventing Olsen from having any sort of opportunity to counterpunch. Barros screams at Olsen to clinch and the Avenger eventually does, but not before Lovato opens up the singer’s upper lip. Lizzie holds on tightly and the ref has to force the two girls apart. Out of the break, Olsen gets in two good shots on Lovato, but Demi quickly moves back in and nails Lizzie with another right as the round ends. It’s another shutout round, but this time, it goes to Demi Lovato, as she halts Olsen’s momentum and now it’s the Fates corner that has to adjust.

Round 7:

Lovato now the aggressor, practically jumping out of her corner and immediately engaging Olsen with a flurry of blows that are just too fast for Lizzie to handle, as her counterpunch sails wide of Demi’s head. Lovato merely rotates to her right and drives a left straight into Lizzie’s jaw and Olsen nearly goes down! Elizabeth covering up as Demi unloads on her, but the singer’s able to break down Olsen’s guard and crashes a big left uppercut into Olsen’s chin that drops the Avenger to the canvas! Demi gets to the corner as the ref starts his count. Lizzie gets to all fours rather quickly, but she’s shaking her head a ton as she gets back up on wobbly legs just before the count of eight. Olsen is practically pushing the ref away and he waves Lovato back in. Lizzie lands a big lunging right to start and goes for the left follow-up but Demi isn’t home and Lovato slams a right into Olsen’s nose and Lizzie’s leaking! Olsen staggers backwards and on comes Lovato again, mercilessly pounding away on Elizabeth’s guard until it drops and her face is exposed. Lovato is absolutely hammering away on Olsen and the Avenger’s arms drop as the blood rushes out of her nose and the ref steps in! Your winner by a comeback TKO7, Demi Lovato!

After:

Olsen is a bloody mess as the Avenger is reeling and Lovato is pounding her chest, knowing that she may very well have just placed herself in the title conversation. Barros tends to Elizabeth, covering her face in a towel for the blood and the stream of tears, and the victorious Lookout fighter parades around the ring, shouting out, “Told you the Fates girls can’t fight. Look at what Kate has done to Taylor,” before exiting the ring, not even bothering to look at her opponent.

“I said it earlier – Elizabeth Olsen is the definition of bantamweight mediocrity.” Lovato gloats to the media, “She cannot win when it matters. So for Fates’ sake, let me tell you something. Stop fighting us Lookout girls. You will lose. We will humiliate your fighters. We appreciate the wins, but you’re not in the same category as Lookout.”

Elizabeth Olsen declines to make any comments once she leaves the ring. While the blood has stopped flowing, the tears haven’t, as she knows just as well as everyone else that she isn’t in the title picture after that loss.
