Joey King – |5’4”|20|2:2|Emilia’s Empresses|

Sarah Gadon – |5’3”|33|3:2|Team Canada|

Pre-Fight: For tonight’s match Emilia’s Empresses Joey King goes up against Team Canada’s Sarah Gadon. Joey enters the ring first, looking stellar in a seaweed green bikini, Sarah trails close behind in a blue sports bra and white shorts as the girls stare each other down from a distance, saying nothing and waiting for the bell.

Round 1: Sarah pawing the jab, drawing the brunette mid-ring and tapping her face with vigour. Joey takes a few hits but fights back, snapping back at Sarah with a right uppercut to her chin and following it up with a swift left cross landing right on top of her nose. Joey tries her luck with another cross but Sarah slips under it, responding with a hook to her ribcage and another one to her cheek. They waste no time throwing fists at each other resulting in a few bruises on both sides. A hook to each side of the ribs and a left uppercut to her belly manage to stun Joey as Sarah finally reaches an upper hand sending the brunette to ropes where she continues pounding her belly with hook/uppercut combinations. Her attempts of escaping get shut out by Sarah’s persistent punching, ensuring Joey stays on the ropes until the bell for a confident opening-round victory.

Round 2:
Beaten but resilient Joey enters the second round with confidence, resorting to defence as she patiently waits for Sarah to make the first move. Sarah presses Joey with a jabbing series but she dodges and takes a few steps back, keeping distance from Sarah's wild arms. Sarah follows the brunette to mid-ring and straight into a left hook as Joey changes the pace and steps to the front with a big right haymaker, ringing Sarah's ears leaving her dishevelled. Sarah responds with a single jab barely scrapping Joey face while Joey rushes her flanks with hooks and a nifty uppercut to her belly sending Sarah down to the canvas. She beats the count at five but doesn’t fully recover, leaving her open for Joey who moves in with a pair of uppercuts leaving her bruised and breathless at the bell while Joey jogs over to her corner with a grin.

Round 3: The fighters aren’t playing around anymore, the enter the third round ready to hurt each other as they march mid-ring, trading blows without mercy. Sarah bashes Joey belly and ribs with hook combinations while Joey torments her face with relentless jabbing combined with crosses. Thirty seconds into the punching exchange Sarah misses a crucial right hook leaving herself open for Joey who wastes no time firing a powerful right cross straight on her mouth causing a lip bleed. Sarah covers up her face, leaving her body open in the process only to get hit with a pair of uppercuts making her gasp for air. Being unsure of where to defend leads to Sarah being punished with more uppercut combinations until she finally collapses to the canvas, with arms wrapped around her bruised belly. She beats the count at eight, limping and breathless when she's up. A left cross pins, Sarah, to the ropes as Joey continues the punishment with jabs, looking for a knockout only to be stopped by the bell.

Round 4: Battered and bruised, Sarah fades to the ropes from the start as Joey takes full control, punishing the blonde. She starts off with a vicious haymaker, throwing Sarah to a corner where she pounds her breasts with hooks, then makes her way upstairs with jab/cross combinations giving Sarah a new cut every few seconds. Sarah stars sliding down the ropes but Joey doesn't let her go down just yet. She wraps her arms around Sarah's arms pulling her back up and continuing with the beating. She soldiers on, strapped to the corner until a right uppercut finally sends her down for good as she fails to beat the count.

Winner: Joey King via KO in Round 4

Post-Fight:
“She is a tough gal, but not as tough as me” Joey talks to the press “it was a decent challenge at the start but she broke down too early”

Joey doesn’t waste time boasting, she simple shakes hands with her battered opponent before leaving the ring.
