BEFORE: Some experts believe this match-up is the premature final as two-time BBU champion Doutzen Kroes is set to battle the mysterious elite contender Nina Agdal. Doutzen picked up a solid win over fellow BBU standout Malika Menard in Round 1 but she's up for a much tougher test tonight as Nina enters the FCBA ring for the 40th time and owns a fantastic 69% winning record. The only problem with that? Lack of silverware in her trophy cabinet! The Danish beauty has struggled to beat true elite fighters like Emily DiDonato or Anllela Sagra plus even fellow contending hopefuls like Lily Aldridge over the years. But the Vegas odd-makers have her as the top favroite to become the unofficial European champion so one must wonder whether tonight IS the night for Nina to silence all the doubters led by former VIX stablemate Kelly Rohrbach?

Round 1:
Dutch blonde simply lets it rip from the word go and Nina can only stop the initial jabbing attack with her face! Heavy slugging from the older model who seemingly wants none of that Danish favorite status as she bullies Agdal around the ring and beats her for basically every punch until Nina thinks better off it and bails out into mid-distance. She blocks some of Kroes' punches thereafter but makes the Dutch model look like a true aggressor and that always sits well with the jugdes. Her counter-punching tactics find little beef and skim off Doutzen's high guard before the BBU champion picks her off with more aerial swings as Nina has circled herself onto the turnbuckle and fails to stop a late jabbin flurry that makes her gurgle in discomfort at the bell.

Round 2:
Doutzen roars into more slugging action but Nina injects superior speed into her movements and avoids getting blasted so blatantly during the opening minute. Doutzen loses her precision but not the pure desire to bully the Danish foe around however she struggles to embarce Nina's counter-punching response this time and gets smacked over the top as the leggy Dane hops around her and finally sticks her foot in the jabbing door. Doutzen relies on her power but fails to match Agdal's intensity and cuts thin air as we head into the final minute with the VIX fighter picking her off instead. Perhaps Nina's attacks lack genuine power supply at this stage but they frustrate the Dutch blonde enough to leave her shaking her head at the bell.

Round 3:
Kroes lashes out at the Danish model with a left/right combo but Nina digs deep into her chest and begins to stack up punches to the body thereafter which glues the Dutch blonde to the spot. Nina barges her elbow into the solar plexus as well and keeps smacking the exposed ribcage as Doutzen tries to shove her away but only eats a crunching uppercut on the jaw instead. She wobbles onto her heels and misses with the back foot swing while Agdal carries more leather into her jugs before clipping the chin again. She bulldozes the older model onto the ropes and romps into her midsection with ferocious pressure and Doutzen can only clinch her amid some quiet yelps. But Nina keeps blasting her on the liver area and moves up landing a brutal uppercut on the jaw THAT DROPS KROES ONTO HER KNEES just before the bell! Uh-oh! Vegas loves that sight! Nina punches the air in delight while Doutzen groans in her recovery but is back onto her feet at seven with clock expiring literally two seconds later. She gives the Danish foe a lenghty stare but she's lost all that early mojo for granted!

Round 4:
Nina drops the counter-punching ideas and lashes out at the rattled blonde with more jabbing power which forces Doutzen to fend off the looming KO disaster as she keeps the Danish model honest with some meaningful single punches up the middle. She avoids more damage but has to fight on Agdal's terms from here on while Nina does more than enough to impress the judges as she traps the older model along the ropes and bangs another series into her midsection. Kroes hangs on but wins little friends clinching the younger woman on the double and even the ref is frustrated with her antics come the final minute while Nina sticks to her supreme execution and clips the Dutch rack late in the going just to let the fellow lingerie model know who runs this show now!

Round 5:
More jabbing pressure from Nina as she splits the Dutch high guard but she fails to rattle the older model again and gets picked off in overhand fashion thereafter. This back & forth spell brings Doutzen onto the front foot again and she carries through some heavy slaps that rock Nina's head repeteadly come the second minute but the response keeps her honest as both women square off in the center of the ring. Nina wrenches some meaningful shots into the blonde's body but Kroes bumps her off in jug-to-jug contact and tears across her mouth with a brutal combo that allows her to assume command upon impact. Nina's slugging from the back foot is neutralized on the spot and she gets barged onto the ropes wilting under Doutzen's head-hunting pursuit in the closing stages. Ugh! There's a small gash under Nina's left eye as we reach half-distance and the VIX camp knows there's more work to be done here.

Round 6:
Nina remains ahead on the cards but leaks too many crisp punches upstairs as Douzten has seemingly shaken off the knockdown funk to outwork the Vegas favorite during the initial tangle. Those early body shots proved quite troublesome for the Dutch fighter but she drags Nina into a head-hunting dispute that gives her the edge and wobbles the younger model onto her heels down the stretch. Agdal fails to swing in commanding fashion from the back foot and gets lost in the hooking shuffle as Kroes rattles her from both flanks and slams nasty strikes into her temples before she drives a rare gut shot to fold the Dane into spasms. She bumps her onto the ropes again where she connects with more head shots to burst Agdal's lips into visible swelling before belting the Vixen in the liver area and that last punch really drained the Vegas favorite to the point even coach Stevie Boyd looks concerned during the interval.

Round 7:
More raw Dutch power drops Nina into trouble as she gets smacked over the top and fails to use her hitherto supreme mobility to get out of trouble.... too late for a makeover as Kroes rips a brutal hook on the temple that wobbles the Danish model into spasms and BLOWS her up with a crunching follow up on the chin that renders Nina numb on the spot. Ugh! Even Erin Andrews felt that last punch over in the booth and there's nothing Nina can do when she gets BLASTED on the nose with another ruthless hook that LIFTS HER OFF THE CANVAS and sends crashing down flat on her back moments later! Ugh! That was a monster punch there in the end and the ref realizes the poor Danish girl has been smoked out of her senses here! KO7 Doutzen Kroes in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Doutzen barks something in native Dutch - or is that Frisian? - as she briefly gloats over the semi-unconscious opponent but there's more work to be done here tonight so she wastes no time in heading back to the Lookout! Atlantic corner where Nicole Richie also tries to keep it strictly business for a change: "We're not done here, people! We blew the doors off the Vegas #1 favorite but this arrogant Polish witch Sandra Kubicka has a head start on us so excuse me if we get Douzten straight down for the ice massage in the locker room. We will answer all your questions once we WIN the whole damn thing!", Nicole lays down the law while muscling her way past the reporters. Those who are unfamiliar with Doutzen's BBU career even call this result a huge shock but maybe it's not something that shocking after all? Meanwhile Nina has lost another opportunity to claim a valuable trophy and one can only wonder how will that affect her mental fortitude going forward?
