5. Nina Agdal vs Cara Delevingne

Nina:

BEFORE:
We’re moving down to the beach for this final portion of tonight’s event, with Nina Agdal and Cara Delevingne having agreed to fight in bikinis in a makeshift boxing ring on the sand dunes. The sun’s about to set on summer as well, as the crowds from the Barracks begin to gather on the sand as they await the arrival of the two blonde models.

This match-up also has special significance: Cara Delevingne perhaps being known as the best Free Agent on the market at the moment, recently winning the European Cup tournament by beating a slew of talented girls around the world and finally take home the championship trophy. Despite beating the current BBU champion herself, Doutzen Kroes, Delevingne STILL remains unsigned to a stable to date. On the other hand, Nina Agdal’s got something to prove after getting knocked out of the very same tournament in only the second round.

A few months later, here we are: Agdal jealously having demanded a match against the tournament champion herself, and Delevingne eager to accept, if only to drive home the point that she belongs at the very top of the division and not languishing in free agency for the rest of her career.

“There are always offers, of course,” Cara smiles as reporters ask her if she’s gotten closer to joining a stable. “They’ve just never been sweet enough. And besides, I’m in the prime of my career. Look at what I achieved this year alone, beating four girls back-to-back and emerging the champ. Agdal, on the other hand, has squandered her opportunities at VIX. The girl should have been champion by this time, but look at her, trying to play catch-up all the time. It’s pathetic, if you ask me, and I’ll be happy to put her in her place tonight and prove she’ll always be second-tier.”

Nina of course seething at those comments, tying her strawberry blonde ponytail into a bundle up high before snatching the microphone from a nearby reporter.

“The b*tch didn’t deserve to win. Plain and simple. Cara just got lucky four times in a row. You know how I know that? She didn’t face ME during the tournament, and instead got all those easy fights, like Sara Sampaio and Elsa Hosk. If she had, well, I think we’d be facing each other on very different terms tonight.”

Nina with a one-inch height advantage as she presses in close for the official stare-down, glaring into Cara’s face and meeting Delevingne’s scowl right back. Agdal dressed in a blue bikini laced with sunshine yellow, complete with white gloves, whereas Cara’s wearing a simple but elegant black bikini top and white boxing trunks, red gloves on either hand refusing to touch up with Nina’s white. Girls return to their respective corners and the referee doesn’t waste time - with a wave of his hand, HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Both ladies face off in tight corners in the first minute, trading barbs from afar but neither really going all in to brawl. Nina fires a couple more punches towards Cara’s head to spook her, occasionally hitting the cheek and lips, but then gets targeted back with jabs from the fast-moving Brit herself, as both ladies throw down suddenly in the mid-ring with mutually exchanged leather to the cheek. Cara takes a nasty poke above the eye and is suddenly forced into a cover pattern late in the round, not liking the fact that she got bullied about so easily by Nina, but having little other choice as Agdal gives chase with more quick attacks.

ROUND 2:
Well, Cara’s turn to poke right back as she slips around Nina’s early flurry and jams a right hand straight into the Danish girl’s cheek, before another hook rattles the Dane’s guard and sends that blonde ponytail swishing about rapidly in the wind. Just like that, Agdal’s put on the defense, absorbing more shots to her arms and body as Delevingne powers up and inwards to make up for lost time. The two ladies end up in a tall clinch on more than one occasion, with Cara going for a killer swing to the head but Nina just too fresh and focused, ducks under the hook and then buries shots into Delevingne’s body and chest to end the round on a high note.

ROUND 3:
Cara still moving forward with confidence, that European cup win still fresh in her mind as she rocks Nina’s arms with surprising power and speed, before leaping out of the way of any counterattack. Agdal in survival mode early in this fight, as she tries to jab at Cara’s oncoming face but didn’t expect her opponent to be this aggressive, this early, Delevingne continuing to land shots into her tummy and chest, before almost taking her head off with a powerful hook smashed into her arms. Nina huffing and puffing backwards and sideways, trying to use her long legs to stride away and land a comeback somehow. She extends that right hand forward as often, poking at Cara’s lips whenever the Brit lowers her guard or pulls back for another swing. Nina just manages to stave off disaster by the end of three minutes, keeping Cara back but not much else.

ROUND 4:
Girls traded barbs earlier on, now trading punches to the face in tandem as they take turns pushing each other back in the first minute, before they launch themselves back at each other. Nina scores first with a lightning one-two to that cute button of Cara’s nose, dazzling her for what else is to come. Delevingne lets out a painful cry but immediately powers her own left cross into Nina’s face, as the two women exchange more mutual punishment. Agdal however keeps herself moving, swerves backwards to avoid another fast combination before she rattles Cara across the cheek with a tight hook. Delevingne forced to fight defensively for the first time in this fight, acknowledging Nina’s power and speed by covering her vulnerable head up for the remainder of the round.

ROUND 5:
Nina still thinks she should have won that European tournament, and to be honest, the whole thing was a fiasco by the fact that seven other managed girls lost out to a Free Agent in the end, no? But Cara has always defied the odds, now throwing herself back at Nina with plenty of combos peppering the guard and more straight hands packed into her arms and belly, knocking the air out of the Vixen early on and overwhelming her to the point of her back being pushed into the ropes. Uh oh. It looks like Nina might be in trouble again as she flails about to get free, with Cara knocking her head from side-to-side in close quarters, before a blasting hook to the face SENDS AGDAL DOWN TO ALL FOURS!! It’s a beautiful KNOCKDOWN for Cara Delevingne!!

Bad tidings indeed for the aspirant challenger as Agdal sputters and spits down on her knees, shaking her head as she attempts to rise back up and continue this fight. This is the same way she went during the tournament, and it’s certainly not a pretty memory to come face-to-face with the canvas once more. Worst still is Cara’s loud cheers of victory above, as the British model throws her hands up in the air as though she’s already won for the second time running.

But Nina thumps her gloves into the ground, forcing the rest of her trembling body back up. It’s still early in this fight and she ain’t done with the fightin’ just yet. Round resumes and Cara is all too happy to charge in once more to finish Agdal off. Nina retreating backwards as she covers up her face, having to survive another two minutes if she wants to make it to the next round. She’s shaken by a lunging left hand from Cara, who’s aiming for the body and then taking huge swings at her head, but Delevingne leaves herself exposed for a brief moment after her second attack misses by an inch. Cara then rattled by an explosive shot into the base of her chin, as Nina returns fire in close quarters! OUCH. Cara’s head snapped back up in a painful looking uppercut indeed, and it’s Cara’s turn to get rolled backwards, her eyelids fluttering and lips working in pain. Springboard forward and POOW - Nina FLATTENS Cara with a clothesline straight to the chin, and DOWN GOES DELEVINGNE in a comeback KNOCKDOWN!!

Good lord do both these ladies want the win badly! The beach stadium erupts in cheers as Nina towers over her fellow model, with Cara left scrambling to turn herself over and recover before the bell sounds and brings down her embarrassment. Nina stumbles to the neutral corner to await the referee’s slow count, but Cara’s fans are out enforce tonight as they cheer her recovery on, allowing the Brit to rise back to her shaky feet by the count of 9! This round is still going on!

A minute left on the clock and it’s already barely past the middle mark of this fight! It’s just a matter of who wants it more folks! Girls stumble forward the first couple of steps but then quickly spring forward and at each other to act, with Cara lunging at Nina with speed but misses once, twice... Nina’s counterattack is more effective, rattles the Brit with a right hand of her own that craters one cheek and dazes her with a groan. Cara stumbling to the side from the shot, spinning back to face a zealous Agdal who’s approaching her head-on… Agdal showing no quarter as she pours in the abuse, more straight hands drilled into body and face as she makes a statement in the final few seconds! Cara groaning and helpless, her back to the ropes as she’s bent over from repeatedly leather gloves sent into her tummy, then her head and upper torso is thrown left and right over the ropes as Nina beats the remnants of the fight out of her! And that’s it!! The referee’s seen enough!! Rest of the arena was left on the edge of their seats till the last moment as the timer slowly ticked downwards, wondering if Cara could indeed have held on till the next round! But no! The ref’s jumped in and covered the beaten Brit up, before shoving Nina out of the way away as the bell rings rapidly!

Official Decision: Nina Agdal defeats Cara Delevingne via TKO5!

AFTER:
Redemption for Ms Agdal as she throws her hands up into the air and runs back to her corner in victory! She had always been the favourite to win the tournament only to get knocked out in the second stage to Kroes. Well, fan speculation as to who would win if these two faced off has now been put to rest: Cara panting hard with her back to the ropes, having slid down into the ref’s arms once she heard the bell ringing in her ear. At least she can take some comfort in knowing that she’s still technically the champion of the tournament, and not even Nina can take that win away.

But oh is Nina going to try… Agdal seen removing her gloves and striding over after her corner-celebrations, digging fingernails into Cara’s short blonde hair and pulling the disheveled girl back to her feet. Delevingne, trying to fight back, pounds her gloves off Nina’s side in order to free herself, but some well-timed knuckles folds her over to her belly as Nina pins the Brit model to the ropes to showcase her dominance.

Cara bent over, gasping, with Nina’s lips spouting venom down into the top of her head, and the Vixen enjoying the sight of the Euro champ deflated and squirming in her arms. Soon enough, the ring officials are tugging at Agdal’s shoulders to try and break the hold and restore order, and Nina finally allows the broken girl to slump back down to the canvas with both arms hugging her body.

That’s it, folks! We’re done with the boxing segment of tonight’s event, and we’re soon on to the main event of the evening: Hannah Ferguson and Tahnee Atkinson punching each other’s bodies out in an oil pit! Stay tuned!
