Intro:
Now two fighters who've kicked off this year in the FCBA still looking for a win, Miranda Kerr and Barbara Palvin hope this can be a springboard fight back up the rankings to where they feel they belong.

They head to the Copacabana Beach, staying in the nearest hotel with a gym, both have reportedly been friendly enough when they have seen each other inside the hotel.

Both were interviewed by Alicia Atout before the fight down in the bar, first up on the stool was Miranda Kerr, proudly having her BBU lightweight title and ACB bantamweight title on the bar to show off her wears, neither on the line in this fight.

When asked about her downturn of results, Miranda nods before admitting "it hasn't looked great for me lately, these young boxers are starting to come up fast, it is my job to reach their level and knock them back down"

Looking at her belts, Miranda turns back with a smile, adding "I haven't completely been useless though, I only recently took this (points at the BBU lightweight title) off my best friend Alessandra (Ambrosio) so I am not finished yet by a long shot, this is a great fight for me to find my mojo in this organization"

She is asked about the fight, Miranda tells Alicia "Barbie as she likes to be called right? She's a good fighter, the loss of her stable has really took something from her, I think she could be a great fighter but I am not a charitable person inside those ropes, if Barbara doesn't come with her best then she is toast" fist bumping Alicia, Miranda leaves with her titles on each shoulder.

Meanwhile you have to go back two years for Barbara's last win, she defeated Bar Rafaeli, since then she has struggled to get a win on the board, she now sits down with Alicia looking fired up.

Especially when Alicia mentions the European Cup tournament that took place last month, it's a sore subject as Barbara shows by saying "god I was so annoyed watching that tournament, so many undeserving people got into it and I was the forgotten woman! Hell look at people like bloody Sara Sampaio and Irina Shayk, I'd beat those two any day of the week"

Taking a drink of water to calm herself down, Barbara changes the subject, telling Alicia "anyway I am fighting Miranda Kerr, I can deal with those bytches soon enough" with Alicia nodding in reply.

"Look Miranda is a great and I hope I end up having half the career she has had, but I am here to win not to make friends, when I get into that ring with her I am not going to show any respect to her, first chance I get I am knocking her out" Barbara says as she looks deeply serious, the importance of winning this fight written across her face for all to see.

The ring posts are set directly in the sand, no crowd here but cameras on each top of each post, while two cameramen take each side of the ring, the judges table is on side of the ring.

First onto the beach comes Miranda, she is all smiles as she heads to the ring, stretching to show off her body it seems to the cameras, then she steps through the ropes into the ring.

The Aussie is wearing a green bikini with gold trim, green gloves, while her hair is tied into a braid, she shadow boxes in her corner as her coach Nikki Visser tells her to give Barbie no quarter.

With Palvin now on her way onto the beach, she wears a maroon hoodie to the ring, she slowly unzips it for the camera to show off her majestic body with a wink as she looks in a more relaxed mood now.

After getting into the ring, Barbara gets her maroon gloves onto match her bikini, her hair is also braided for battle, she taps her cheeks with her gloves to psyche herself up.

Stepping towards the center of the ring, while they have no hate towards each other, the intense looks on their faces show how important a win is here for them both.

They respectfully bump their gloves into their opponent's, jogging back to their corners, once both fighters are ready, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Both women circle at the center of the ring, trading jabs as they try to find their range, Barbara slipping a jab early on to move inside with two cross punches before she dances back to range.

The speed of Barbara gives Miranda an early issue, the opening minute sees Palvin landing the cleaner punches as she moves inside before retreating back when she gets clipped across the cheeks.

Miranda finally lands a good combination, a jab opens up Barbara to a right cross, then a left hammers the ribs of the Hungarian as she lifts her guard up.

When Miranda tries to knock back Barbara to the ropes, she misses though with a straight as Barbara dips down before hammering an overhand left to the jaw of Kerr to turn her head.

Barbara getting off the ropes into space, she looks to just be too quick for Miranda to land more then single punches, the Aussies big right only grazing the jaw of Palvin each time she tries to unleash.

At the bell Barbara jogs back to her corner, fist bumping her coach as they talk about how the round went, Miranda meanwhile being told by Nikki to get her range quickly.

Round 2:
Coming back out to trade, Miranda is seeking to get in closer to Barbara quickly, both landing hard shots on the inside, heads getting knocked back as they let their hands go more.

Miranda leans back out the way of a left cross, burying her right square into the nose of her opponent, a left follows to knock back Barbara as Kerr steps after her.

The power of Miranda starting to show now, while Barbara has a good punch, she is fighting off the back foot as Miranda comes after her with punches straight into her face.

Barbara misses with a straight, earning a left across her temple, with under a minute to go her legs shook after that hit, AN UPPERCUT LANDS FLUSH ON HER CHIN AND DOWN GOES BARBARA TO HER BACK IN THE SAND!

Miranda raises her right fist into the air, jogging to the neutral corner, 1...2...3.. Barbara has her eyes shut as her gumshield hangs out her mouth, 4...5...6.. Barbara laying spread eagle barely moving, 7...8...9...10 she is counted out!

Winner Miranda Kerr KO Round 2

After:
What a stunning knockout! Miranda making a hell of a statement tonight, she doesn't celebrate much as she heads back over to her corner with her arms in the air and a smile on a face.

While Barbara has to be woken up by her coach with smelling salts, she blinks to clear her vision as she is helped to sit up, looking down at the sand with a shocked look that she was knocked out so easily.

Over comes Miranda to check on Barbara after getting her gloves taken off, Barbara nods to Miranda as she looks up at her, putting her hand out to help up Palvin, Kerr showing her class as the two women embrace.

Getting helped out the ring so she can be checked on, Barbara looks embarrassed by her performance, some of the other European fighters she called out might be keen to try her now.

Inside the ring Miranda poses for the cameras with the peace sign on her right hand, while her left is on her hip, she is beaming as this was a great way to remind people why she was once so feared in the lightweight division.

Nikki high fives Miranda as she comes back to her corner, both chatting happily about the fight, before they head off the beach, Miranda blowing a kiss over to the camera.
