Luisana Lopilato vs Holly Valance (Results: Lookout!, Words: Caspian)

Luisana:

BEFORE:
Luisana Lopilato looks to continue her winning ways with a battle for blonde supremacy against a legendary fighter herself, Holly Valance. Her Aussie opponent is a former ACB Lightweight champion and will prove more than a test against the relative newcomer tonight.

Ladies are cordial at the press conference, however, the ever cheerful Luisa shaking hands enthusiastically with the older and more famed actress, with Holly herself having some nice words to say about her opponent:

“Luisa’s what we call a steady worker. She keeps her head down and just keeps on fighting. I can respect that. Sooner or later, someone with her work ethic will always come out on top.”

When a reporter asks Holly whether that will also guarantee her a win tonight, however, the Australian model grins and adds, “Maybe next time though” which draws laughter from the crowd.

Luisana’s spirit isn’t dampened, however, as she adds later: “Holly’s done so much in the ring. I admire her career and achievements, and hope to match them one day. I think we’ll both put in our very best tonight. You can count on it!”

Later in the ring, Lopilato’s wearing a white satin bra and lacey panties, red gloves tightened around her fists as she indicates she’s ready to the ref. Holly going for the classic look: black bikini top and bottom, still looking toned and ready to rumble at the age of 40. She touches white gloves with Luisa’s red as the referee waves his hand to begin ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Luisa moving with some spring in her step - could be her almost ten years of youthfulness as compared to the veteran fighter as she sallies forth and begins to pound shots on Holly’s guard to part-test her defences, part-show her dominance as the newcomer hopes to prove she’s worthy. Holly on the other hand remains calm as a whistle, holding her arms firm over her face as she takes the brunt of punishment but then gracefully shoots back a couple of jabs into Luisa’s waiting face. These early attacks however don’t trouble either girl that much, though Luisana’s aggression and switching between blows to the Aussie girl’s face and body earn her a clear advantage in the opening round.

ROUND 2:
Valance was just playing possum in the first round, however, now springing forward and matching Luisa blow for blow as the two blondes clash in the center of the ring. Luisa’s the one letting out more torrid grunts as she eats another glancing blow to the face, then Holly moving south to torment her body with more uppercuts that sink into her gut. Luisa forced into a defensive pattern as the attacks pick up speed - she certainly didn’t anticipate this amount of energy and power from the aging veteran but now has to pay for her ignorance. Holly advances on her slow, however, more light taps to the arms and body as she transitions into full on straight crosses, pushing Lopilato further backwards till the bell.

ROUND 3:
Luisa’s in trouble in the first minute, lacking the confidence of the first round as she’s chased and pestered by Holly’s repeated charges and swings at her head. Luisa holds her face in both arms, hiding as her upper torso’s battered left and right, then gets folded over when Holly dips her own shoulder and drills another tight uppercut into her tummy. But the Vixen clinches up when there’s a sudden opening, wrestling both blondes into the ropes as she clings on for dear life. Holly works best in the pocket, but her arms are now pinned in place by the younger woman, whereas Luisa seems to know what she’s doing, occasional whacks across the older girl’s face and digging gloves into Valance’s side slowly drain her opponent and wear her down, till the referee’s forced to separate both of them at the sound of the bell.

ROUND 4:
Holly looking vengeful, however, keeps her distance now and opts to punish Luisa from afar. The two ladies exchange jab combos then straight hands as they dance and circle, bob and weave around each other’s attacks, but it’s Holly who’s somehow able to weather Luisa’s lack of power in her shots, and at the same time drive the Vixen back a couple of steps each time one of her crosses lands clean. Luisa needs to adapt or die, find another way to counter her opponent’s power if she wants to come out of this alive. Third minute and there’s a glimmer of hope, with Lopilato allowing Holly to chase her down whilst the Vixen does her best to keep out of range, tiring out the aging model. Luisa definitely didn’t take this round for herself but she might have stopped the bleeding.

ROUND 5:
But wait! Holly floors the pedal early, though it’s kinda clear she’s running on fumes at this point. The Aussie girl’s back to swiping and lunging at Luisa’s head from the opening bell, but her punches are wild and haphazardly, lacking the finesse and accuracy of the previous rounds. This allows Luisa to easily weave back or sideways before dishing damage of her own with tight hooks sent across Holly’s face or thumping stiff into her stomach. Turn of the tides here as Holly grunts and shivers, her head twisted left, right, and arms still wild in the air as a third uppercut lands to the chin all of a sudden and CUTS her strings!! DOWN VALANCE GOES!! Luisa SURGICAL with that last combo as she fells the legendary former champ just like that! Holly collapses onto her back, arms lying limp by the side of her head as her chest rises and falls with the winds of fortune! It’s all over in quick and decisive fashion!!

Official Decision: Luisana Lopilato defeats Holly Valance via KO5!

AFTER:
What a victory for the Vixen as Luisana Lopilato continues to make an impact this year! She leaps into the air immediately, throwing both hands up and lets out a roar, then quickly runs back to corner to hug her trainer, Corey Saucier, and the rest of her team.

Holly Valance had her moments to shine in there, and hearing Luisa’s later comments on her performance, definitely had an opportunity to put her opponent down tonight. Now, she’s smiling back at Luisa as the two girls hug on the ropes, with Luisa wishing her all the best and Valance offering her hearty congratulations for a well-fought contest.

“What did I tell you? She’s still a legend,” Luisa says later to reporters by ring-side. “It was an honour to fight Holly tonight and I can only hope she stays fighting in the ring forever.”

When asked who might be next in line, Luisa shakes her head and smiles. “Too early to tell. But I heard Gomez wants to test my winning stream sometime next month. We’ll see what happens!”
