Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse

BEFORE:
It’s time for the main event of this already action-packed Doll Ball, and we have none other than the Unified Bantamweight title on the line as champion Bella Thorne makes a strong defense for why she deserves to keep the belt tightly wound around her waist.

During the pre-fight press conference, Bella is surprisingly cordial at first, looking relaxed in her seat as she answers reporter’s questions, at the same time throwing some shade towards her opponent Elizabeth Olsen from across the room:

"Liz had some impressive wins this year, for sure. She earned her shot at my title fair and square. But she also earned ass beating. *laughs* Cuz... with all due respect, she's not on my level. She's not as talented as me, not as long as me, and not as fast as me. I beat Kosarin, and I will for sure beat Olsen. I'm not expecting an easy fight or anything, b*tch is tough. But you better believe I'm going to have my foot planted on her chest in about an hour, and you're all going to LOVE it!" Bella lifts arms and dances in her chair provocatively to end her statement.
Liz of course earned her spot as number one contender most recently, having blitzed through other prospective women like Emily Ratajkowski to get to this stage. No one had really expected much of the Avengers starlet just ten years ago - she was known as one of a pair of famous Hollywood twins who just happened to also be into acting. Here she is today, a confident smile on her lips as she listens to Bella spout those empty words without interrupting once, only to respond in kind when it’s her turn to do so:

“I’ve watched Thorne's press conferences before in preparation for this fight. You know, she said the same damn things to Demi right before she lost the JMD title and got smothered out in front of hundreds. She’s good, even great…but she’s not invincible and we’ve seen that plenty of times before. I know I have the tools to beat her and hopefully I’ll be able to use them to humble her a bit tonight. I’m going to make it as hard as possible for you tonight Bella. You can count on that.” Olsen ends with a smirk as she stares Bella right in the eyes from across the table.

Ladies square off at the center podium and for all intents and purposes, they have the same build and preported fighting style: Liz comes in a little stockier but the champion sporting a three-inch height advantage. They pose for the cameras with steady hands poised at the chin, but nothing else happens that’s newsworthy. At least some respect being bandied about compared to some of Bella’s other rodeos.

Hours later, the challenger enters the stadium first, Elizabeth wearing a white sports bra and long red tights, a flash of dominant colour that’s rare from the subdued blonde. She poses in the middle of the stage, holding up her hands as her fans chant her name. Thorne's entrance almost always begins with a blast: orange fireworks shot into the air as she emerges in all red tonight – a tiny fiery red bikini top and matching short red tights complete with black and red gloves. Her red hair tied in a messy ponytail as Bella struts down the ramp with the championship belt draped on one shoulder, as though it’s where it truly belongs (well, it does – if you ask most people in this arena tonight).

Referee calls this fight to order as both ladies square up one last time in the center of the ring: Olsen and Thorne actually touching gloves when called upon to, albeit very briefly, as they turn back to corners to await the bell. Referee waves his hand to start and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action! This here’s for the Unified Bantamweight title!

ROUND 1:
Bella still is not treating the challenger very seriously, toying with Liz in the first round by dancing in and out, throwing a couple of feints her way and of course, continuing to mouth off any chance she gets. All part of the psychological war as Elizabeth has to get accustomed to not just the champion’s fight pattern but also the effects of her abrasive personality. Thorne’s grin however quickly wiped off her face as Liz catches her with a one-two flurry to the lips late in the round, Thorne’s antics finally catching up to her as she allows Olsen to close the gap and land fast jabs all over her face. Liz is determined to prove that she’s championship material, and she does exactly that in this opening round, giving the champ a taste of what’s to come if she continues to play around.

ROUND 2:
Thorne not f*cking around this time after losing that last round wide – the Doll comes out of her corner looking like a different woman, arms raised up and locked as she squeezes tight jabs at Elizabeth’s head and body, as though daring her to come at her again and try her. Olsen’s initially shocked as well at this sudden shift in her opponent’s strategy, struggles to deal with Thorne’s rain of punches directed at her head whenever she rushes in to try and pin the champ down. Instead, Thorne barely gets off herself with a few nicks to the body as Olsen gets more and more desperate for contact, the two ladies caught blitzing back and forth in the final seconds of the round, each trying to predict the other’s footwork as they take more wild swings and sudden swipes at each other till the bell rings.

ROUND 3:
Olsen still proving to be a surprising match for Thorne despite her significant height disadvantage – she somehow knows when to barrel in and plant leather on Bella’s sides and arms, and when to play it safe and keep her distance, allowing Bella to extend her energy in a barrage of chasing jabs forward. It’s clear, however, that Olsen is the one in control this round, Bella’s movements more a response to hers rather than the other way round. Thorne perhaps is taking it slow these first couple of rounds, aware of Elizabeth’s stopping power and therefore refusing to let her get in close to do damage. Bella scores with a combo to the nostrils late in the round, but they’re more to do with her own luck and her opponent’s carelessness rather than the champ showcasing her skill.

ROUND 4:
Liz continues to barrel in, hoping to trap the slender woman on the ropes or in one corner of the ring to exert her more muscular frame. But Thorne's just too fresh at this point, skirting the outskirts of the ropes whilst keeping her arms raised at all times, barely has enough room to manoeuvre herself as she keeps Liz at bay for the most part. Something needs to give in dramatic fashion, however, if one of the girls plans to pull ahead. Liz attempts just that in the last minute, blindly charging towards Bella when a left-right-left combo suddenly stuns into her midsection, Liz hoping to recreate that success but takes the brunt of the attack instead when Bella dodged at the last minute and swung her own hook flush on Olsen’s cheek. Olsen almost staggered as she lets out a grunt, head and upper torso swung to the side - Bella aims to give chase but the bell rings soon after!

ROUND 5:
Girls continue on their set paths, Thorne this time showing more aggression after that last round’s near-scare as she scoots forward and packs in flurries to the challenger’s head, then backs away hoping to be fast enough to avoid Olsen’s return fire. For the first minute, it works like a charm, Bella scoring plenty by slip-shots past Olsen’s guard, tagging her repeatedly on the forehead and body. Elizabeth looks decidedly like a newcomer as she roots herself to the spot and just takes and takes and takes the punishment! But it’s all part of the ploy, it seems, as Olsen unleashes a right cross just as Bella skids in for the fourth time - BLAMM!! Champion takes it right on the chin as her head gets shoved back hard, and DOWN SHE GOES, the shock of the exchange sending her wobbling backwards and falling down onto her butt! It’s a KNOCKDOWN for Elizabeth Olsen!!

Dollhouse fans letting out a roar of disbelief - it’s bad enough that their champion just went down, but another thing to hit the canvas in such an undignified manner. But the good news is Bella Thorne looks more embarrassed than hurt as she immediately scrambles back upwards, her cheeks pink but that unmistakable scowl etched across her lips. Elizabeth on the other hand just looks smug as hell at scoring the first knockdown of the evening, thinking there’s plenty more where that came from as the two women return to their corners.

ROUND 6:
Elizabeth’s turn to charge in swinging! Bella’s corner anticipated this eventuality, keeps their girl safe and secured by moving backwards in constant motion, making it difficult for Olsen to pin the champion down. That still means she’s tryin’ her best though, as Olsen capitalises on Bella’s poor state of recovery from that last knockdown attempt, keeps throwing big combos towards her head but they mostly come up empty. Thorne doing a masterful job of slipping her head left and right, in and out of the pocket to avoid those faster jab combos, but also absorbing hooks to her arms as she plays it safe for now. Only later in the round does Thorne answer back, a couple of energetic jabs stinging into her nose and chin, finally keeping Elizabeth at bay.

ROUND 7:
Olsen the one breathing hard now as we enter the last quarter of this fight. The Fates Boxing starlet has expended and expended her energies in the fight and never really taken a breather of her own. Bella exploits this, circling her like a shark, then poking between her guard from afar, taking little nibbles out of Olsen each time she passes. This is of course the same way Bella Thorne found herself knocked onto her butt the last time round, as Olsen is already immaculately aware of this as she tries to repeat the manoeuvre: sudden hooks flung at Bella’s direction were intending to catch the champ one more time and send her down permanently. But Thorne manages to keep a good distance and moves cautiously, absorbing most of the danger till the second minute, where instead of backing away like last time, she swerves her head around one of Olsen’s mighty hooks, CATCHES the challenger back across her face, then another uppercut’s delivered straight to the jawline!! UGHH!! OLSEN reels backwards, holding her chin, eyes squeezed shut as she lets out a loud groan but STILL refuses to go down! Bella now more than content to chase after her, stepping up the action with lefts and rights battering down into her body as Thorne looks to end things here... POW!! of another cross nails Olsen right on the kisser, SENDING HER DOWN ONTO HER BACK!! A seventh round KNOCKDOWN from the champion as Bella has her revenge!

The arena lets out a cheer on her behalf as Olsen’s back hit the floor with a loud thud! The blonde is spreadeagled after being clotheslined like that, now blinking up at the ceiling lights with one hand clutching at her mouth in pain! Thorne half-smiling, half-smirking, berating her team mates as she’s herded away by the referee, who starts the official count! Olsen still alive, thank god, as she wills herself first off her back as a, then blocks out the noise from the crowds as she concentrates on getting back upright one foot at a time. Finally, she makes it up by the count of 8! This fight continues!

ROUND 8:
Both girls with a knockdown apiece and only three rounds left to make their mark on each other. Most pretense has gone out the window as Bella and Elizabeth clash repeatedly in the middle of the ring, taking turns sticking leather into faces and more dull hooks landed to the body before they break apart and regroup at a distance, rinse and repeat. Even though she suffered that horrible knockdown last round, Liz seems to be even more fired up now as she gives the last bit of this fight her 110% - she catches Bella with wide swings to her guard, then throws the champ off balance with a couple more grazing fists to the chin. Thankfully, Thorne always just a little out of range, quickly moving away from the daredevil and controlling her back with shots stuck into the face. At the end, it’s the champ who walks away with a small margin of win, but damn if Bella thought this would be the round to put her opponent down onto the ground. Instead, both ladies look worse for wear as they step back to their respective corners, breathing heavily with sheans of sweat all over their bodies.

ROUND 9:
Round 9 and Bella ROARS in once more, delivering an early one-two to Liz’s face directly and unopposed, as though the challenger’s about to wilt at any moment. Elizabeth moving forward sluggishly by contrast, her head getting snapped back by Bella’s agility attacks, but STILL she refuses to take no for an answer, comes back outta nowhere with a tight hook slammed into the arms, making Bella grunt out loud upon impact. Thorne perhaps is growing frustrated at her foe’s incredible resilience and fighting spirit - Liz just refusing to quit even though her face is eating a sh*t-tonne of punishment into the closing seconds of the round. Liz continues her relentless chase about the ring, scoring another scare momentarily when her resilience pays off and she lands a hard cross to Bella’s chest, a sore reminder indeed that the champ isn’t perfect nor invulnerable, and this ain’t JMDD rules. The Doll squeals as though violated for the first time, before retreating and cursing all in the same breath. Bell rings and it looks like we’re going the full ten yards!

ROUND 10:
Thorne looks shattered herself after having expended most of her energy trying to mop Lizabeth up in the past two rounds, now groaning as her upper body’s swung left and right when Elizabeth catches her square with hard hooks. Thorne's in TROUBLE as she’s being bullied in there, painful grunts as she’s thrown into the ropes over and over, only to take another hard knock to the arms or belly before Elizabeth is on her case once more, not allowing the champ to get away! Who can blame Olsen, of course, with the scorecards now almost dead even by our count - she’s doing her best to even her chances out and perhaps win this match via unanimous decision. But all Bella has to do is HANG in there for dear life, and that explains why she’s engaging her opponent in the clinch multiple times, using her height to twist and turn and ultimately survive till the end of the round.

Good lord! There goes the bell and the referee’s calling both fighters to separate and head back to corners! But the judges aren’t clear about who’s the winner here - flurry of activity from below the apron as they rapidly confer with one another at the judges’ table. It’s a score that’s dead and tied, ladies and gents! It means this fight is heading into overtime!

ROUND 11:
This is a rare sight indeed as both challenger and champion gear up mentally to go another ten rounds if need be, even Bella Thorne never been tested like this before in her own illustrious career, and it’s Elizabeth Olsen’s last huzzah for another chance to claim the golden straps. BOTH these girls are out to prove themselves, and HERE they come at the bell! Girls start slow, circling and keeping their arms close to their chests, spending the first minute cautious and not wanting to make a late mistake at this stage. Bella only comes alive at the last minute, seeking to reclaim the round and the narrative by pounding on Olsen’s arms with jab combos that end in straight hands to the body. But Olsen decides to wake up at the same time, unleash her power all at once: right hand SMACK lands clean on Bella’s mouth in the wild exchange, making the champion wince and momentarily wilt backwards into the ropes. Crowd sees a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel as Bella covers up and retreats - a sign of pain and woundedness - but Elizabeth is also too slow to follow, chasing after the injured champ with more missed punches.

ROUND 12:
Elizabeth definitely is showing the heart of a champion as she pushes herself all the way to the finish line. One has to wonder at her level of stamina and determination as she roars forward again, chest heaving but all that movie-training must have done wonders for her fitness. She dominates the first minute, trapping Bella on the ropes multiple times and batting more leather into her stomach, up into the arms, rinse and repeat, but Thorne manages to wrap her own arms around Olsen’s shoulders and neck, hugging her close enough to gain leverage and reverse their positions. End result: girls left gasping in each other’s arms as they struggle for leverage, Olsen’s tank running on empty too as she struggles to break free and put the champ out of her misery… but before she can break the clinch and tear into Bella, Thorne times a right cross just in time, nailing Olsen right on the nostrils and sending her reeling into the ropes once more. Thorne has her foe right where she wants her, suddenly raining blows into Olsen’s face as the Hollywood actress groans and struggles to cover up, gets NAILED on the jaw by a wicked uppercut, and DOWN SHE GOES for the second time this fight!! It’s a third KNOCKDOWN overall from Bella Thorne, who’s so exhausted herself that she immediately wilts into the ropes nearby, her legs wobbly but undoubtedly the last pair that’s still standing! SURELY this must be it??

Olsen behaving like her strings have been cut, now crawling on all fours as she tries to maintain balance with four limbs, let alone two if she does manage to get back up by the count of 10. Referee knows what’s at stake here, hovering nearby and shouting out the numbers whilst thrusting his fingers clearly in the air. Meanwhile, Bella’s already back in her corner, getting pats on the shoulder and towels draped over her head - almost unfathomable that a fighter would still want to fight on at this point, but good god, Olsen’s actually alive! The actress has the stadium at her beck and call as she rises first to her knees, then pulls her groggy self back up to her feet by the skin-of-the-teeth 9!

There’s a look of disbelief on Bella’s face as the referee signals to finish the last minute on the clock here. As you know, we’re already in sudden-death mode and every punch matters at this point to score as that knockdown might just be your last. Olsen barely moving from her spot, however, as Thorne crowds in close again, first striking at her arms and body from afar, grunts and groans barely registering as Olsen gets rooted to the same spot she got back up from, every dull smack into her body or wavering arms drawing another prolonged groan from her lips, to the point where Thorne feels it’s safe enough to wade into the swamp and deliver a hook across the face before Olsen can register what’s happening. But Olsen STILL refuses to go down, finds herself rolling along the ropes, hoping to survive till the end of the twelfth and perhaps get one last chance at redemption. Not if Bella can help it, of course, the Doll doing her best to stay on top of her wounded foe, aiming high for the head with knockin’ blows, then powers in another hook to the shocked girl’s face, FINALLY drawing the referee’s attention - a line in the sand has been crossed as he jumps in to SAVE Olsen from her own pride!! It’s all over!!

Official Decision: Bella Thorne defeats Elizabeth Olsen via TKO12! Bella Thorne is STILL the Unified Bantamweight champion!

AFTER:
Wow! What a fight! Bella Thorne perseveres through perhaps the toughest win of her career against a very tough ring veteran! Meanwhile - Olsen sagged and defeated in the referee’s arms, now folded over and collapsing to her knees, bent over and curled up into a ball from all the abuse, and even the champion herself drops to her hands and knees in a mix of exhaustion and relief once the bell rings - She’s panting hard, and is definitely going to need a few moments to collect herself before she can proceed with any celebrations here after this grueling battle. Only when her rock music hits the airwaves and the chants of her fans echoing throughout the arena Bella finally cracks a smile then uses the ropes to slowly lift herself back to her feet as the Dollhouse medical team rushes in to check on their champion.
Meanwhile, a battered Olsen has been dragged onto her stool by her team and looks like someone who’s been through hell and back. She probably knows what awaits her now, as Bella finally recollects herself and walks towards the beaten blonde. We all know what’s coming, and the crowd is giddy with anticipation as Bella approaches.

The champion stops right in front of the blonde, her sweaty body glistening underneath the arena lights still panting hard. She’s starring at the subdued challenger, seemingly considering her plan of attack with Olsen starring defiantly right at her, ready to defend herself if need be…she…wait…what is THIS?! Bella extends both gloves towards Elizabeth! What?!?! THEY BUMP FISTS!!! Wow! Olsen seems to have earned Thorne’s respect here tonight! That’s certainly a first for Bella who is usually known for her post-fight antics!

Bella cracks a tired smile at Elizabeth before turning around and raising both gloves up high – the crowd roaring in appreciation despite perhaps not getting what they were expecting here tonight! Bella then proceeds to slowly mount the 3 corners of the ring, posing sexily with her title for a few long minutes – she’s definitely not going to forgo THAT part folks!

Bella definitely has earned her keep tonight after this back-and-forth battle, and perhaps solidified her status as one of the best Bantamweights ever to step foot in the FCBA (though we’re sure many would still disagree).
Bella making her way backstage now when a sudden noise from the crowd catches her attention. Guess who?! Is that….? It’s Demi Rose! What is SHE doing here? Probably here to support her stablemate Samara while getting an opportunity to mess with Bella on the way. The brunette is standing behind the barricade calling Bella over. The surprised champion approaches and the two girls get into a heated exchange.

“I missed you hon. When are we meeting again? I really want to take THAT title too…” Demi points at Bella’s belt, touching it with her finger and slightly shoving Bella away.

“Don’t you f*cking touch it, cow.” Bella retorts. “Get the hell outta my face or I’ll have security remove you.”

“Do it yourself b*tch.” Demi fires back. “Or better yet…do it in the ring. With your title on the line. Or are you too afraid I’ll beat you again and leave you with no titles at all?” Demi smiles right at Bella.

Bella has apparently heard enough. Looses her cool and SHOVES the smaller girl hard from behind the barricade. The crowd goes wild, clearing the way for both girls as Demi quickly recovers and rushes towards Bella, attempting to climb over the barricade. Carmen Electra is having none of it though, signals for security to separate the two as a few burly men quickly come between the ladies, pushing Bella away and making sure Demi does not get over the fence. “Coward!” Demi shouts. “You’ll end up like Avril tonight if you ever get in the ring with me again and we ALL f*cking know it!”

Bella being pulled backwards by Carmen, responds with an amused giggle and a middle finger towards the JMD champ. “I’ll see you soon shorty. Trust me. It won’t be long.” She shouts back before turning around and climbing the ramp.
Right before disappearing behind the curtains, she pauses to speak to reporters who are hounding her for comments.

“I’m not gonna talk about this Demi b*tch. She’s insignificant and I’m not sure who even allowed her to be here tonight. Won’t happen again. As for Elizabth, I totally wasn’t expecting her to last 12 rounds…she did. She f*cking wouldn’t go down. I respect her for what she did in there. Anyone going up against her should expect one of the toughest fights of their career guaranteed. But, anyone going up against ME should expect to LOSE. And that goes for that cow Demi as well as Nina Dobrev who I’m fighting at the end of the month. I’m coming to make it 2-1 b*tch, and you’re not going anywhere near this beauty.” Bella stops and kisses her belt. “Better believe it!”.
