BEFORE:

"A couple of years ago," says McPhee with a shake of the head, "I came here to fight Taylor Hill. And, no, I didn't get a result. But, Hill's proven to be a championship-level fighter since then. THIS girl? She's no Taylor Hill!"

"Well," says Kara with a smile. "Katharine is RIGHT. I'm NOT Taylor Hill. I'm not 'The Face'. I'm 'The Body'. And, she's ABOUT to find out what this body can DO."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Touch Me' and that can only mean the singer of that tune and the star of 'Shark Night 3D', the lovely Katharine McPhee, is on her way to ringside..."

McCarthy: "And, this is another Typical Dancing Hooker Opponent. ONE win, and it came against that stiff Bowden seven years ago!"

O'Dell: "Katharine wasting no time getting down the aisle and into the ring. She's helped off with the robe to reveal that green and white striped number we've seen before. And, that's 'Flawless' by The Ones hammering through the arena, and here comes Kara 'The Body' Del Toro!"

McCarthy: "The BODY! Well. TONIGHT, the fans will see the REAL best body in the FCBA, because I'M going to be up in that ring, and I'm going to KNOCK THE STUFFING out of MAC THE FRAUD!"

Cassie: "Here we go..."

McCarthy: "Listen, you little..."

Tess: "Del Toro's gotten off to a great start for Front Street. And, as this is her seventh fight of the year, it's probably going to be her last of 2020. So, she's going to want to end things on a high note."

O'Dell: "Kara into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and the crowd popping for Del Toro in that neon green number..."

McCarthy: "Just WAIT until I get up there!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Ladies about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kara. Mac?"

McCarthy: "ONE FCBA win. Del Toro!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Unanimous again and McPhee wasting no time trying to make our panel look foolish. Katharine all OVER Kara right off the bell. She's winging away with both hands, backing up Del Toro, forcing her to cover up, keeping her on the defensive. And, there's nothing sloppy about this, Mac..."

McCarthy: "No, it's pretty sound stuff. It's also a calculated risk. McPhee nothing to lose, so, go for it."

O'Dell: "And she absolutely IS going for it. Del Toro staying on the back foot right now. Not sure if it's a choice or if she's being that effectively suppressed, but result is the same either way, Katharine in control and Kara taking heavy fire and playing defense, though she is finding some spots to counter in."

Cassie: "A few, but not many."

O'Dell: "Definitely not many. Coming down the stretch now. McPhee's been in command the whole way and that doesn't look to be changing any time soon. Athletic older woman landing a nice flurry there. Kara fires back with a sharp right hand and there's the bell. McPhee. Wide.'

Tess: "And Katharine takes the early 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "McPhee back after Del Toro aggressively as we start the second. Kara keeping the hands high, fighting counter. Katharine calling the tune right now, as she keeps the younger woman on the back foot...AND THERE'S A RIGHT HAND, DEL TORO, AND DOWN GOES MCPHEE!"

Tess: "What a counter!"

O'Dell: "Absolutely KEYHOLED it and dropped Katharine to her back! Kara to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. McPhee sitting up at six. Seven. Eight. To her feet in time to beat it. Ref going to give her the mandatory and then waive on Kara, who's quickly across the ring to get to work..."

Cassie: "She's definitely looking to finish now."

O'Dell: "No question about it. Kara backs the older woman to the ropes and then begins calling in the artillery strikes. Del Toro banging away with both hands. McPhee hanging on. GOOD right, Kara shakes Katharine. ANOTHER good right and it's OVER! The ref steps in and it's OVER! And your winner by KO2 is Kara 'The Body' Del Toro!"

McCarthy: "Lucky. But, McMann ISN'T getting lucky. Count on it."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kara Del Toro, and, Kara, she got off to a fast start, but that didn't seem to fluster you..."

Kara: "I could see what the plan was. She was going to come after me and try to get me out early. Nothing wrong with that, but it wasn't working. I'm a rookie in the FCBA, but I know what I'm doing in there."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Kara: "Well, I've had a busy year. Maybe I'll get one more fight, who knows? Either way, I'm going to be ready for a big 2021!"
