BEFORE:

"There's no question," says Emily with a nod, "That she's a top level bantam. The question in some minds seems to be if I am. Well. Tonight, I'll answer that in no uncertain terms."

"She's definitely good," says Kat. "And, definitely dangerous. But, she's definitely NOT winning tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Bad Moon Rising' by Credence Clearwater Revival, and here comes the star of 'The Wolfman', the lovely Emily Blunt!"

McCarthy: "And, not ONLY does this girl have FCBA wins, she's fighting that lucky Campbell Clone Dennings, so it will be an EASY win tonight..."

Cassie: "It wasn't easy when YOU fought Dennings...well...it might have been easy for HER..."

McCarthy: "You LITTLE, I'LL...SHE GOT LUCKY!"

Tess: "Welcome back to the table, BFF..."

Cassie: "Glad to BE here."

O'Dell (sighing): "Emily into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal that fire orange number we've seen before, and, that's "I Don't Feel Like Dancing' by Scissor Sisters booming through the arena, and that can only mean that Kat 'The Rack' Dennings is on her way to the ring..."

McCarthy: "Lucky Campbell Clone!"

Tess: "Kat definitely right in the middle of the title picture at bantam these days, and if she wants to stay there and keep up with Bennet and a fast-rising Reinhart in Front Street's pecking order, she needs the win tonight..."

O'Dell: "Dennings into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's getting plenty of pop with that curve-hugging black number she likes..."

McCarthy: "PARAMEDICS! They'll need PARAMEDICS when I get up there..."

O'Dell: "Aaaaannnnddd we're about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kat. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Like I said, Blunt. Easy."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Blunt wants some space here, and she's looking to create it with the jab. Kat, on the other hand, likes to get in close, and she's working past that jab, crowding Emily and banging some body in the phone booth. These are exactly the terms Kat wants to fight on..."

McCarthy: "That's because she's unskilled!"

Cassie: "Again, she was skilled enough to babify YOU!"

McCarthy: "SHE. GOT. LUCKY. AND. I. AM. GOING. TO. POUND. MCMANN. THAT. FRAUD!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Kat working body. Emily tying up, getting a break from the referee, getting back to range, but unable to stay there. Dennings finding ways to close, and, when she gets in there, she gets to work, mostly on that body. Again, Emily tying up and forcing a break."

Tess: "If Blunt doesn't find a way to create better terms, this is going to be a short fight."

O'Dell: "Final seconds of what's been a pretty one-sided first. Kat having her way in there, working on the inside. Again, Emily tying up, but Dennings punches free and lands a NICE right hook at the bell. No question about this one, ladies, it's Kat wide and Dennings up 10-9 after one."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Emily moving more as we start the second. She does not want to stay in the phone booth with Kat. Dennings working forward, looking to close, but the British beauty doing a good job of getting the distance she wants now, getting the jab working, scoring from range."

McCarthy: "This is how you beat these slow, talentless Campbell clones. MOVE."

Cassie: "How'd that work for YOU against Neve..."

Tess: "Or KAT?"

McCarthy: "YOU...I WAS ROBBED!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Fight number four and this has already been a LONG night. Blunt showing some nice hops right now. She's not bouncing around like our colleague here did so well in the previous fight, just moving effectively laterally and staying off square at the moment..."

Cassie: "And, that's the key for her, because she's slowed down Kat's offense."

O'Dell: "Has, indeed, and turbocharged her own. As we head down the stretch, it's been a strong round for Emily. Good combination there for Blunt who circles away. Kat again stepping forward, but Emily gives some ground, jabbing, and there's the bell. Blunt. Wide."

McCarthy: "And we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with more of the good movement from Blunt. Emily clearly wants to box here, while Kat wants to get inside and bang, and it's going to come down to who's able to enforce terms. At the moment, Blunt getting what she wants, but Kat closing now, working some body..."

Cassie: "Emily tying up, going to get a break from the ref."

O'Dell: "Blunt, obviously, a veteran fighter. Knows what she's doing in there, and she's using that experience to try to create the space she wants, while Kat continues working forward, showing good footwork, getting inside the jab and banging some more body before the British beauty can slip away."

McCarthy: "Ref needs to watch for low blows in there! Campbell and her Skid Row proteges are FAMOUS for cheating!"

O'Dell: "Down the stretch in the third. It's been close this time. Emily turning, giving a little ground, circling away as Kat works to close and bang. Nice combination there for Blunt. Snapped Dennings' head back with a right hand in there and there's the bell. Close. But, Blunt."

Tess: "And Emily goes into the lead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth verse, same as the third. It's all about tactics and terms right now, as Emily stays on the move, looks to get space to operate while Kat works forward, tries to angle inside and get to the body. Blunt showing plenty of wiles and plenty of class right now, Mac..."

McCarthy: "And 'class' is a word you'll NEVER hear in conjugation with a Skid Row fighter!"

Tess: "In conjugation?"

McCarthy: "Listen, it's not MY fault you don't own a Theasaurus, Walmart!"

Tess: "I'm going to have to get one of those..."

McCarthy: "You SHOULD."

O'Dell (sighing): "I suspect we don't even have a bingo square for that one. Meanwhile, we're coming down the stretch in another competitive round between these two brunette bantams. Kat inside to work some body, lands a nice right hand. Emily ties up, circles away, back to the jab and there's the bell. Close again, but Blunt again."

Cassie: "And, Emily extends the lead to 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Pattern continuing in the fifth. Kat wants to close, Blunt wants space. Dennings forward, works some body and NAILS EMILY WITH A RIGHT UPPERCUT! Blunt rumblin', stumblin', fumblin' and nearly going down! She's back against the ropes covering up and Dennings is letting the hands go!"

Cassie: "This is one of the things that makes Kat so dangerous. One punch. And everything changes."

O'Dell: "Blunt in the tight earmuff. She's putting the body on sale and Kat is BUYING IN BULK. She's thumping away at ribs and midsection, tenderizing tummy, looking to bring that guard down. Emily keeping it high, absorbing the punishment, crounching, keeping the elbows tight..."

McCarthy: "WATCH FOR LOW BLOWS, REF!"

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch. Ref looking in closely, but Dennings still working a lot of body, going upstairs just enough to keep Blunt honest. Emily taking the licking and continuing to tick. Ten seconds to go. Good right hook, Kat, and there's the bell. No doubt about this one. Shutout, Dennings."

Tess: "But, Blunt still on top 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Dennings on a seek and destroy mission as we start the sixth. She's stepping to Blunt, backing her up with hard shot. Emily doesn't have those legs back, so she's unable to move as effectively, and Kat is taking full advantage of that, loading up the heavy guns..."

McCarthy: "All Blunt has to do is ride this out. She's still in control of this fight."

O'Dell: "Kat in control right now. She's laying on the heavy leather, banging away with both hands. Emily doing well to stay off the ropes, fire back in spots, but unable to do much more than that and THERE'S A RIGHT HOOK FROM KAT AND DOWN GOES BLUNT!"

Tess: "And, that might do it..."

O'Dell: "Kat quickly to a neutral corner. Emily down on her right side. Referee counting. Three. Four. Five. Blunt rolling to her back to stare up at him. Count at six. Seven. Not going to happen ladies. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Emily still on her back as the count passes her by and it's OVER. And your winner by KO6 is Kat 'The Rack' Dennings!"

Cassie: "And, before Mac says anything, there was NOTHING lucky about that."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kat Dennings, and, Kat, she can box..."

Kat (nodding): "No doubt. She's very good in space. Good hands. Very slick. But, I knew if I could get in there, I'd get her, and that's exactly what happened."

Tess: "What's next on your agenda?"

Kat: "Whatever gets me closer to another shot at the belts. Tell me where and when, and I'll be there."
