BEFORE: Denise Richards hasn't found a lot of success in recent months but she's desperate to make the cougar boxing count and vows to demolish Susan Word whom she wrestled on the beach few years ago already. There's very little tape on Susan's boxing endeavours and she's widely dismissed as genuine cannon fodder whom Denise paid off just to step into the ring and pretend she actually means business.

However Susan shows a lot of nerve during the build-up when she tells Erin Andrews that "Denise's plastic face will be rearranged tonight" which even makes the blonde reporter giggle in disbelief. We don't have too many genuine punchbags in the cougar ranks but Ms Ward might just be one for the taking if you look at the pre-fight odds.

Denise Richards wears a red & white bikini set & black gloves. Long dyed blonde hair in loose waves. Susan Ward wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Denise flies out of the gate and wants to knock all the rust from Susan's face; she does so with ease and traps the younger cougar underneath a high-tempo jabbing blast that dissects the guard from both flanks. Susan remains glued to the spot and embraces the early punishment almost without reply which only fuels the blonde's work rate. However Richards begins to lose her accuracy down the stretch and doesn't really punish the brunette enough bouncing off her mitts & forearms instead. Then again Ward shows very little in response and allows Richards to dominate the action before she finally drills a solid left hook into the blonde's nose. Denise barks in anger and drops more aerial bombs up the middle to clobber Susan onto the ropes where both women clash heads late in the going but it's been all Richards here thus far and she lets Ward feel it as she nails her with a low hook on the groin after the bell... naughty!

Round 2:
There's more rust getting knocked off the brunette as even that low punch doesn't change Susan's tune. She allows Denise to stalk her around the ring but shows more mobility while dropping into mid-range and the blonde's efforts don't carry enough mustard to underline the artistic impression. Single-hand assault gives Denise the edge but she gets caught by several looping counters which she ignores as Susan remains lethargic in execution and loses her footwork come the second minute. Another clash of heads slows the action down before Denise lets a hooking combo rip and she nails the reeling foe on the chin; Susan wobbles onto the ropes and has the blonde crashing down on her with more facial menace. Denise sticks her mitts upstairs and knocks Ward's head back before a clinching stalemate ends the round but it's smooth sailing for the Illinois native so far to cover the pre-fight odds with room to spare.

Round 3:
Denise wants to put the hitherto lacklustre opponent away but gets beaten for a rare overhand and suddenly Susan comes to life powering ahead with a vicious dose of jabs on her own. She splits the blonde's mitts before clocking her on the temple and camps downstairs to really catch the older actress by surprise. We haven't seen much body assault here but Susan goes to work on Denise's midriff and pounds at it with utmost fury to the point she leans on her so much she head-butts her in the process. Ref is slow to react and next thing you know, Richards hugs the ropes with her backside and Ward pummels her in the gut spitting verbal abuse. She tags the cleavage with a nifty uppercut switch and folds the blonde behind a desperate earmuff exposing all the punching resistance issues that befell Richards in the last couple of years. Denise can't slug herself back into safety and eats a brutal hook on the jaw right at the bell which slumps her into loud spasms as Ward has to be pulled away by the man in stripes.

Round 4:
Richards struggles to embrace Ward's sudden turnaround but she's convinced she can knock her out any moment... oh, wait... here comes Susan with a slugging triple combo that nails the Illinois native on the chin and... and.... Denise slumps forward with a whimper as the brunette SMOKES her with another brutal uppercut straight on the money! Ugh! Hammer time, bytch!!! Blonde drops her gloves low enough for Susan to land a sicko drive like she's pounding a drum and Denise stops it with her face and nothing else!!! Left/right, left/right like it's target practice and suddenly Denise's knees simply give way as she TUMBLES DOWN ONTO HER BACKSIDE with Susan still tagging her on the ear as she was going down already!!! Ward quickly struts back to neutral corner while Richards tries to embrace the knockdown daze but remains sitting on her heels and shouts "Oh my Gawd!" several times before the vertigo really kicks in and forces her to slide onto her side when the count reaches eight... NINE... TEN... YER OUT!!! KO4 Susan Ward in cougar-come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Another epic failure for Denise Richards who simply can't get out of knockout misery any which way! Susan Ward was supposed to be a gimme scalp and it's all gone horribly wrong for the Beverly Hills resident once again. Oh my, maybe it's time to call Pamela Anderson or what? Even Susan can't celebrate this shocking triumph in full and admits she was swinging for the fences with those pre-fight comments but it's always enjoyable to see Denise unable to take one good series these days: "She is a god damn train wreck alright! I couldn't believe the social media buzz but I do now! She's been miserable on CBS and she's fookin' finished in the ring too!!!"
