Intro:
We kick off tonights Fight Night Live action here in Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Thailand with two former stablemates giving the crowd a show, Ziyi Zhang was the general manager of the defunct Aegis International stable, Fan Bingbing gets her chance to show Ziyi she deserved the spotlight.

This is Bingbing's debut after she signed with the Aegis stable back in 2016, she never got a fight partly due to some controversial news in her life, part as she tells the media outside the legendary venue on the red carpet before the fight in her native language "Ziyi signed me to be her sparring partner, she lied to me that she wanted me as the star of the flyweights in the Aegis stable, all she wanted was the spotlight for herself" looking pissed off as she speaks wearing a satin white dress with matching heels.

The "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star added "now I get to lay my gloves on her for real, I am going to show her that like in our acting careers she doesn't match up to me in anyway" heading into the building with swagger to her steps.

Ziyi meanwhile heads down the red carpet in a red dress with matching heels, stopping to tell the press "this has been too long coming, all I had was her whining on in the gym about get me a big name, I thought I taught her where she belonged when we sparred" hands on her hips as she speaks with a stone cold stare at the cameras.

"Once we are in the ring I won't be using kid gloves on her, she can go cry to you guys after I am finished with her under my foot" finishes Zhang as she turns to match down the carpet into the venue with her fists clenched.

Fighting time, out comes Ziyi first wearing a navy blue bikini top to go along with short blue muay Thai style trunks, blue gloves, hair tied into a ponytail and bare foot, her coach follows behind as she gives the crowd a few fist bumps, she looks in the zone though.

Stepping through the ropes into the ring, Ziyi taps the top turnbuckle in her with her right glove, then bounces on her toes as she awaits her opponent, taking a deep breath as her coach talks to her.

Now out comes Fan with her coach behind her, Fan is wearing a red sports bra, red muay Thai style trunks with a golden dragon pattern running around, red gloves, her hair is braided and bare foot too, she marches down the aisle with purpose.

Climbing through the ropes, the first look between the former stablemates is a cold one, bouncing on her toes as she shadow boxes, Fan is being told off her coach to outbox Ziyi like she did her sparring partners.

The referee brings the fighters together, where they go nose to nose, eyes firmly locked as the tension between these two icons of Chinese cinema is palatable, neither wanting to give an inch as they press busts together.

Told to touch gloves with their opponent, they do so with a thud of leather, the crowd roars as they watch both fighters return to their corners, fists raised as this grudge fight has been a long time coming, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Kicking off the round they are feinting and using jabs to try to create openings, while they haven't sparred in two years, they do know a lot about each other as they try to figure out how to take control.

After the opening thirty seconds is a feeling out process, it is Ziyi who brings the heat by ducking under a straight to come inside with a right to the abs of Fan, following up with an overhand left that grazes the chin of the taller fighter.

Back goes Bingbing to the outside part of the ring, finding out what the taste of leather feels like as Zhang is drilling in some nice headhunting punches through her guard, Ziyi knocking back the head of her opponent.

Before Ziyi can get too comfortable, Fan lands a left across her face after leaning out the way of a right hook, another left smacks Ziyi across the face as with less then a minute to go Fan is starting to built some momentum.

They are trading quick fire exchanges around the center, neither able to move inside for long before they are knocked back to the outside, Ziyi though looks to be able to slip more punches on the inside.

At the bell they give each other a death stare before heading to their corners, Ziyi's corner is the happier after a strong start, though Fan wasn't overawed for her first ever round of action.

Round 2:
Talking to her coach between the rounds, Bingbing is moving more side to side as she doubles up her jab, giving Ziyi a harder time trying to get a read on her as the straight is coming ramrod like into her face.

Ziyi manages to deflect a straight to come in closer to throw in a left cross/straight on the inside, following up with another left to the cheek of her opponent as she looks to press her backwards towards the ropes.

Using her left forearm to open up a gap to fire in an uppercut, Fan then lands a left hook to the ear of Zhang to make her retreat back so she can reset, Bingbing doesn't give her much room to breath.

Back comes Zhang when she ducks a right cross to land an uppercut to the body, then two hooks to the sides as she looks to power back her rival, who needs to pull her into a clinch as Bingbing feels the ropes on her back, referee needed to pull them apart.

With less then forty seconds to go, Fan jams a jab into the mouth of Zhang, then lands a right hook across the mouth of the smaller woman, finishing the combo with a left on the chin to make Zhang close her eyes as she is backed up.

Herded near the ropes as a flurry of punches come at her, Zhang covers up as she is under pressure through the final moments of the round, when the bell rings Fan gives Ziyi a little peace of her mind as the referee stays between the two rivals, making them return to their corners as marks are forming on both fighters faces.

Round 3:
Boxing around the center as both are up on their toes in textbook orthodox stances, they are both jabbing while moving their upper bodies, looking for angles to land their bigger punches on their beautiful foe.

Stepping back as Ziyi shows her cards a little early with a missed right cross, Fan lands a counter right across the left eye of Zhang to make her hiss out, with Fan landing another two punches smack into the face of her opponent.

Pressing back Ziyi to the outside of the ring, Fan opens up a little too much and misses with a right hook with evil intentions behind it, Ziyi countering with a right to the body, then an overhand left as she shows off her impressive speed to switch levels.

Back now comes Ziyi as she bangs in three body shots, Fan is groaning as she winces, Ziyi driving her near the ropes as Fan is only really landing clipping punches to the top of Zhang's head, making her coach yell at her to switch things up.

Ziyi looking good as she enters the final minute, throwing the more body punches of the two fighters to drive the air from Bingbing, making her look uncomfortable as the ropes are near her back.

The round ends with Ziyi wiping her feet behind as she has her back to Fan, showing her disrespect to her former stablemate, whose eyes narrows as she stares through Ziyi before heading to her own corner to be cleaned up.

Round 4:
Coming back out their corners looking even more determined, they are opening up more as the urge to win is growing by the second, Ziyi mistimes early on a right cross, taking an uppercut flush on her chin to rock her back.

Bingbing lands two straight punches into the face of her opponent to drive her back, a left cross is parried by Fan as she drills in another left of her own across Zhang's face, THEN ANOTHER UPPERCUT LANDS TO SEND ZIYI ONTO HER BACK!

Less then a minute gone this round and Ziyi is looking at the lights! 1...2...3... She is turning slowly to her front, 4...5...6... On all fours she shakes her head, 7...8...9.. Ziyi beats the count with a little wobble, lifting her fists up to assure the referee she is OK, after being checked over she gets the nod to continue.

On comes Fan who promptly smashes a straight through the mitts of Zhang, hammering back her rival as sweat flies off Ziyi's head each time she is hit clean, TILL SHE IS ON THE ROPES JUST BEING POUNDED, THE TOWEL COMES IN FROM ZHANG'S CORNER, REFEREE COMES IN AS THAT IS IT!

Winner Fan Bingbing TKO Round 4

After:
What a way to start your career, Fan gets an impressive stoppage on someone she hates, with her yelling at Ziyi in their native language "I told you I am better then you! Now you can't hide it!" The referee holding Bingbing back as she wants to scream in Ziyi's face.

Ziyi on the other hand is up with help from the ropes, staring angrily at Fan as she looks to still have her fighting spirit, though her body isn't in fighting shape right now, her coach needing to help her back to her corner as she is too jelly legged to walk herself.

Pumping her fists into the air at the ring center, Fan takes in the cheers from her supporters, getting a taste of victory certainly isn't bad as Fan gets lifted up by her coach in their arms, a big beaming smile on her face as this means the world to her.

Returning to her corner after, Fan is chatting away about how much fun the fight was, telling her coach "I know I have things to work on but this was amazing, smashing that bytches face was so much fun, I can't wait to fight again" the coach looking excited to see what Bingbing can do with more work.

While Ziyi can only watch as Fan goes to the ring center, she is standing in her corner now with her gloves off, fists clenched on the top ropes either side of her, raging that she got beaten while the woman she saw only as good enough to spar with beat her.

Fan blowing kisses to the cheering crowd with her left hand as her right is lifted by the referee, she goes down to her knees as she bows to the fans, her coach helping her up before she hugs them for their support.

Getting out the ring is all that matters to Ziyi right now, it doesn't feel like this is over for her, she is already talking to her coach about training as soon as she can, this is maybe the most humiliated she has ever felt.

Inside the ring Fan is posing for the cameras, fists raised as if challenging other flyweights to come fight her as she has a piercing stare, smiling once she is done with a nod to each camera person.

Leaving the ring with her coach, Fan showed some impressive hand speed tonight, at thirty nine it is arguably too late for her to make a run at the titles, maybe she can get in some big money fights though especially back in her homeland of China, she has certainly put her mark out there for others to follow.
