BEFORE:
It’s been a busy few months for Melissa Satta, newest participant of the round-robin Welterweight tournament and at the same time, still taking on these ad-hoc fights on the sidelines.

“Hmph. That loss to Alice Goodwin was a fluke. I should have won that one, but she got lucky. Don’t worry though, because I’m gonna win the next few rounds of the tournament no problem,” Satta stating in that thick Italian accent. “Sarah here? She doesn’t stand a chance against me. I’m about to give her the first loss of her career.” Melissa pursing her lips as as she winks at the cameras, all in full view of Sarah Brandner who’s seated at the other end of the table.

“Satta was a nobody just a few years ago. And she still is a nobody today. She likes to talk big but what has she actually done? Beat up Federica Nargi? I don’t plan on breaking my winning streak tonight. So I’m ready for you, big girl.”

Italian mastery versus German engineering here, with both girls also sharing a history of getting in each other’s faces during the Sports Illustrated Body Paint photoshoot that took place back in [ ]. It was the SI shoot that arguably put these girls on the cultural map, and it’s no secret the two soccer WAGs have disliked each other ever since they’ve been placed together side-by-side for the cameras.

In the ring, Sarah’s wearing a conversative red blouse with white mini-shorts, showing off that toned midriff that mirrors plenty of sports athletes. Melissa in a blue bikini top and white denim hot-shorts to match, bouncing together black gloves and looking ready to go. Referee waves for the bell and HERE we go with ten rounds of Welterweight action!

ROUND 1:
It’s swift head-hunting process early on as both ladies display aggressive tactics. Both are attacking from the front with simultaneous right hands powering through the filler air, attempting to wrap things up before the first thirty seconds of this fight are even up. But hell if that ever works - they meet resistance in the form of each other’s guards and upper chests weaving to either side and backwards in order to avoid. Girls refuse to back away, however, content with circling each other like electrons around a central nuclei, punching and jabbing at the head and looking for further openings. At the end of three minutes, it’s hard to tell who took this opening round, with both ladies showing off too many similarities that begged the comparisons in the first place.

ROUND 2:
Bell re-rings and we’re expecting the same kind of action and flow. Melissa coming forward with her arms raised and ready to fire off into the German’s face, but then gets STUNNED when Sarah ducks under a big cross, then shoots a left-right combo straight into her gut. The Italian wasn’t expecting that one bit! Eyes bulging as she lets out a grunt, and Brandner of course jumping on her case, rattles the brunette further with another right hook crashing into the side of the head, then continues to whack her fists into the belly, ultimately driving Satta backwards. Melissa groaning as she tries to cover up and twist to one side, in order to not face her attacker head on. Sarah however simply barrels into her from the momentum, and both women end up in a clinch, and berating each other in the process. Satta still getting bullied around as Sarah stuffs a fist or two into her toned midsection, but when the referee ain’t looking, the wiley Italian SPIKES her forehead right into Sarah’s, making her scream as her head’s knocked backwards in abject shock. But if it wasn’t seen by the referee, it ain’t counted as penalty! Girls are finally pulled apart at the bell with both looking worse for wear.

ROUND 3:
Sarah Brandner now more than content to use her superior power to dominate the middling girl. And Satta fully aware of this, focusing all her attention on blocking those incoming shots or simply moving outta the way. But Sarah succeeds in scoring with a left hook packed into trembling tummy, before the Italian manages to get away. Follow-up jabs to the head are met by raised forearms, and it looks like this third round will be going Brandner’s way for the first two minutes but hang on for the third: Satta rallying all of a sudden in the final seconds, catching Sarah off-guard with a lunging right hand that rattles the middle of her guard. Satta alternating between jabs up high and hooks down low sent into the chest and body, with one particular hard thump to the face, right between the blonde’s eyes, sees Sarah hurt and reeling backwards, but the bell prevents Satta from moving in for the kill.

ROUND 4:
Sarah still shaking her head at her lacklustre performance last round - how did it turn on its heels just like that, in an instant? No time for reflection right now, however, as Melissa looks keen to fly in to finish what she started. Sarah grunting as another superwoman punch comes crashing into her arms, the force of which pushes her back a couple of steps. Return hook is ducked under by Satta, who seems to have timed this dance down to the wire. SNAP uppercut into the jawline sends Brandner flying again into the ropes, which she rebounds from and then DROPS down to both knees!

KNOCKDOWN for the Italian goddess and SIRENs’ wild card! If she manages a win here, she’d have certainly cemented her legitimate place in line for the golden belt, sometime in the future. But Sarah also has that determined look in her eyes, to not let this woman be her downfall, and the German model starts picking herself back up almost immediately, recovering by the count of 8.

Referee calls for last two minutes to continue on the clock - can Sarah truly survive this? Satta determined to spoil her party, sails in and begins hounding the head immediately. Sarah blocks the first few jabs that fly down the middle, but subsequent hook from Melissa BLASTS into her head from the side, and then another spins her about along the ropes, the blonde looking punched silly and ready to drop back down again. But Sarah’s arms still clinging onto the top rope in order to keep her standing, whilst the rest of her body looks like it wants to call it quits! Especially now, with Satta given free reign here to BURY punch after punch into her hapless gut! Sarah groaning and moaning, making no attempt to defend herself but still not willing to surrender!

That’s it - referee’s seen enough to know that Sarah’s done! He waves this contest off!

Official Decision:  Melissa Satta defeats Sarah Brandner via TKO4!

AFTER:
“Let that be a lesson to you, cagna (bitch), and whoever else that wishes to test me. You’ll certainly fail!” Satta strutting back to her corner after her arm raised by the referee, parading that hot piece of ass to the hoots and cheers of the fans.

Brandner still looking dazed and flat on the ground, one hand covering her face from the bright lights that are shining down on her, and partly to block out the roar of the crowds that is still ringing in her ears. We hope she doesn’t see this as the end of the world, even with a loss on her perfect record!
