Sarah Brandner vs Lorena Rae

BEFORE:

The Black Eagles are ready to make some noise in the welterweight division as owner/manager Gina Wild claims this is the place where the first BBU champion from within her ranks comes from. Toni Garrn has tasted the challenger opportunity before but the latest Victoria's Secret recruit Lorena Rae could even outperform the fellow model going forward and the only one feeling a bit bemused by all that jazz is Sarah Brandner who finds herself in awkward position of having to beat Lorena tonight to justify her spot on the Eagles roster.

BBU TV's Charlie Webster wonders why Gina Wild hasn't simply offered Lorena a contract regardless of the pending result but one should never try to understand the German analitical approach and maybe it's about Rae even getting a head start on Toni Garrn's assumed welterweight leadership?

We go down to the ring where both Sarah & Lorena seem to share a couple of jokes and this is almost like a gym session atmosphere at first but then Sarah's eyes develop that steely look and Charlie reckons she really wants to upstage the VS recruit and delay her elite career path while salvaging her own Bavarian pride.

Sarah Brandner wears a red bikini set with blue trim & blue gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Lorena Rae wears a light blue bikini set with yellow trim & yellow gloves. Long light brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Sarah channels some flyweight-like approach and tries to nail her opponent with the initial head-hunting swing but Lorena stays back in mid-distance and lets the blonde work herself out in a fruitless pursuit before blasting her on the midsection with a well-timed response. Sarah gets caught out by the quick double downstairs and yelps in sudden pain while Lorena clobbers her up the middle and establishes immediate control from point-blank range. She keeps drilling the older model to the body and Brandner struggles to stretch her elbows in response which allows the VS recruit to pound her onto the ropes where more pin-point strikes sink the Bavarian blonde into loud spasms. Sarah has to clinch her foe to prevent an outright beating but still gets smacked on the chin with a late uppercut that has Lorena pumping her chest at the bell.

Round 2:
Another early attack from Brandner finds the high guard and Lorena shows superior footwork to weave away from the desperate follow up as she settles into punching the blonde's guts to slow her down thereafter. Sarah becomes vocal as she tries to trap Lorena in close range but remains visibly unsettled by the repeated body assault that glues her to the spot come the half-distance mark. Sarah rips a good cross on the brunette's chin but lacks consistency and gets outworked by more drilling hooks to the body which reel her onto the ropes where Rae blasts another chin-checking double. Ugh! Sarah barks in discomfort but just can't stop more brunette leather as Lorena rallies to punish the jugs and leaves Brandner slumped at the bell.

Round 3:
This is a really impressive showing from the brunette who lands a quick overhand on the jaw which whips Brandner on her heels before more strikes reach the jugs and send the Bavarian blonde into clinching escape. However Lorena bumps her rival off and drills another hook on the solar plexus that folds the older girl into loud spasms. Sarah tries to reboot her challenge but is forced to yield real estate as Lorena swings upstairs and secures another easy connection. She hassles Brandner down into the corner where she beats her for a vicious overhand and delivers a head-rocking attack which drops the Bavarian into a desperate earmuff however also leaves her badly exposed... and Lorena rips a left cross on the liver which SENDS SARAH SPAWLING ONTO THE CANVAS!!! Huh! Lorena gloats over the fallen rival for a couple of seconds before she's told to go back to her corner and Brandner makes a chaotic recovery at eight but still hugs her aching midriff when she's given the all clear. Lorena strolls into her path and just clobbers her up the middle which snaps the head back & forth until another blow on the jugs folds Brandner into crying mode... and the bell halts the beating moments later which makes Rae really angry!!! She's upset she mismanaged the clock so badly but Charlie Webster believes Sarah is on her last legs anyway.

Round 4:
Sarah refuses to quit on her stool but gets BLASTED with the initial left/right hooking combo and basically stops Lorena's punches with her face for the best part of the opening twenty seconds here... she begins to gurgle in pain and goes all concrete feet as Rae whacks her from both flanks and shatters the desperate high guard... she takes a small pause and then NAILS the subdued blonde on the chin SENDING HER FLAT ON HER BACK WITH EYES CLOSED!!! And that's the way to do it, folks! KO4 Lorena Rae!!!

AFTER:

All eyez on the Victoria's Secret model who joins Gina Wild in the Black Eagles corner and it's finally official as Lorena is introduced into the stable during the post-fight verdict announcement. Designated welterweight leader Toni Garrn keeps a straight face on as she shares a hug with her new stablemate but Charlie Webster questions whether this relationship lasts beyond the summer... meanwhile poor Sarah gets escorted back to the locker room by the Eagles' medical staff and her days as elite contender are very much numbered. She could enjoy a lenghty career as gatekeeper on local undercards but will probably serve as Toni & Lorena's sparring partner going forward. 

The best news for Toni Garrn is that Lorena is destined to make more outings on the American market following her overseas debut last month. Her next bout is rumoured to take place at the Fight Night Live PPV in June already and Toni could remain the top BBU option for Gina Wild going forward.
