Intro:
The next fight tonight sees Jourdan Dunn and Doutzen Kroes both hoping to get a win in the Contenders tournament after a bad start, they enter Bangkok's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium to do battle.

Jourdan is 28 years old; she stands 6'1 and holds a record of 7 wins, all of those by knockout and 2 defeats.

Doutzen is 34 years old; she stands 5'10 and holds a record of 13 wins, 12 by knockout with 8 defeats, she is a former BBU lightweight champion.

The fighters were interviewed by Georgie Thompson before the fight, with Jourdan up first and looking in an annoyed mood as she sits down in front of the interviewer.

The first question is about Jourdan losing to Melissa Satta in the first round of fights, Jourdan answers "I am not interested in that, all I am looking forwards to is this fight, the only thing I will say is that I will repay Melissa someday"

The subject then turns to Doutzen, with Jourdan telling Georgie "she doesn't scare me on bit, she moved up from lightweight because she couldn't hack it anymore, she has made a big mistake entering my world"

Jourdan adds "once I win this fight, I promise you that I will win this tournament because I am the best around the BBU and all these girls claiming I have been found out, wait till you get into the ring with me and see what you think!"

Now Doutzen is in the hot seat, she is asked about losing to Bo, she admits "I have no complaints, Bo is going to be a strong contender to win this and I wasted my chance to be the front runner in this tournament"

When asked about Jourdan, Doutzen shakes her head and replies "I've heard her call me all sorts of things, so if she wants to make this personal then it can be"

She continues "I'm happy to show her what a real boxer looks like, I don't just swing for the fences and when she is down on the canvas, I may show her respect as I hate being vengeful"

Fight night; out comes Jourdan with Denise Lewis behind her, Jourdan is marching down to the ring with a stern look on her face.

She is wearing a black sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves as she goes for the classic Mike Tyson look, her brunette hair is braided.

Stepping into the ring Jourdan gives the crowd a quick wave, but is more focused on getting to her corner and warming up for the battle ahead.

Doutzen is out now with Nicole Ritchie by her side, she is waving to her fans as she jogs towards the ring, as she gets to the bottom of the steps she takes a deep breath and her expression becomes serious.

She is wearing an orange sports bra, matching trunks, gloves and shoes showing her national pride, while her blonde hair is also braided.

Climbing into the ring; Doutzen raises her right fist in the air and nods to the crowd as she gets a cheer, she begins shadow boxing to warm up with Nicole telling her to show Jourdan what a real fighter is.

The fighters are brought to the center of the ring, both glaring at it each as Jourdan towers over Doutzen, looking ready to start now if given the chance.

When asked to touch gloves; Jourdan slams hers on top of Doutzen's with a smirk, Doutzen just smirks herself and shakes her head as they return to their corners ready to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
The fight starts off with both women feeling the other out; Jourdan looks to press with her jab but is finding the movement of Doutzen hard to pin down.
As most of the punches from Jourdan find air, Doutzen slipping under punches so she can move inside to work the body, before moving back out to distance.
Once Jourdan does land a clean jab though; she begins to push Doutzen back around the outside of the ring, landing more single punches clean to the top of the blondes head to knock it back.
But when Jourdan tries to land a big booming right, Doutzen dips under it and moves out into space, mockingly waving Jourdan to have another try.
The brunette smirks as she comes forwards, that smirk disappears though as Doutzen dodges a straight and counters with an overhand right across Dunn's cheek.
Giving Doutzen the chance to come on strong late in the round with her head down, while she is throwing piston like punches into the abs of the taller fighter to make her groan out.
The round ends with Doutzen winking to Jourdan as she turns to head to her corner, giving her opponent a taste of what skills she has, with Jourdan scowling at her in reply.

Round 2:
This time Jourdan looks more cautious, using her jab more to gauge range while boxing off the back foot, forcing Doutzen to have to come to her.
That is allowing Jourdan to take control of the action, catching Doutzen across her face as she comes forwards, while also landing stiff punches straight between her gloves to knock her head back.
Doutzen becomes more defensive; tightening her guard as she allows the more confident Jourdan to come to her, with punches raining off the gloves of the Dutch legend.
The problem for Kroes is each time she tries to come out that guard, she is getting caught straight to her face, knocking her head back with sweat flying off into the air.
Jourdan catches her flush with a right across her face to begin backing up the older fighter towards the ropes, with Doutzen smartly ducking down so she can clinch around the body of the Brit.
The referee splits apart both women so they can move into space and work, with seconds left in the round; Jourdan looks to put an exclamation point on this round with two hooks that her opponent deftly dodges with her weaving.
The round ends with Jourdan now the one smirking at her opponent as things are getting heated inside the ring, both knowing they've won a round so far.

Round 3:
Jourdan again starts off strongly; keeping Doutzen on the move outside the ring as she throws two or three punches at a time at the head of her opponent.
Most of those punches though find the gloves of Doutzen, whose guard is holding up to the punches as she keeps looking for a chance to come out her shell to attack.
Which she obliviously thinks has appeared as she dips down to come in close; Jourdan moves backwards though and both women land several shots, Jourdan striking the face of Doutzen, who gets clean shots to the body of Dunn.
A double jab to the face of Kroes forces her to retreat back though, bringing relief to the Beever's Babe's corner as Jourdan gets back to controlling the action at distance.
But she is still struggling to land more then single punches; Doutzen is proving too elusive for her and frustration is starting to show on the Brits face.
With late in the round Jourdan looking to land a jab/right hook combo, Doutzen dips underneath though and pounds her right into the abs of Jourdan, making her cry out while retreating back.
Doutzen comes on strong in the dying seconds of the round, bashing Jourdan back onto the ropes after landing a clean straight up top to the chin, the round ends with Jourdan covering up.
Denise looks pissed off as she waves her arms in the air, not happy at her prodigy for looking like a chump at the end of a strong round for her.
While across the ring Nicole nods at Doutzen, wiping down her marked up face, not looking bothered about the last two rounds as they discuss what Doutzen needs to do better.

Round 4:
As expected Jourdan looks to settle back at range again, Doutzen though seems to have other ideas as she looks to have found another gear.
The Dutch model keeps slipping under punches from Jourdan to get in close to work the body, slamming hooks under the ribs of the bigger fighter to make her hiss.
Jourdan gives Doutzen a shove to her face to open up space, following with a left/right combo that knocks Doutzen backwards, allowing Jourdan to start mounting a drive towards the ropes.
Again though she throws a careless right haymaker that finds nothing but air, Doutzen counters with an overhand left to the chin of Dunn to wobble her back a step.
Suddenly it's Doutzen now driving her opponent back across the ring, landing several punches up top to knock their head back, then switching down to the body again.
Jourdan looks to be wincing now as her body is taking a pounding, she clinches up with Kroes now, who taunts her about being weak, with the referee breaking them apart.
Once apart Jourdan manages to whack Doutzen with a left jab and a straight, as she tries to force the issue with her rival.
In the dying seconds of the round though; Doutzen uses a shoulder roll to dodge a straight and counters with an uppercut that lands flush, THE LEGS OF JOURDAN LOOK JELLY! As Doutzen tries to whack her down, the bell rings to stop her!
Doutzen makes sure to tell Jourdan "you got lucky bytch, let's see how far that luck runs" with Jourdan just shaking her head to clear it of cobweb.
The Beever's corner working hard to get Jourdan back in fighting shape again, Denise shouting at her to get the f*** out of this slump by knocking this bytch out!

Round 5:
Now it's Doutzen pushing the pace; bobbing and weaving out the way of punches from Jourdan, who still looks a little shaky from the last round.
A missed jab from Jourdan leaves her open to a right under her ribs, BEFORE AN OVERHAND LEFT CRASHES ACROSS HER CHIN AND TIMBER GOES JOURDAN!
Doutzen yells to her fans her joy at seeing the big girl go down, 1....2...3...4.. While Jourdan stares up at the lights with her gumshield hanging out her mouth, 5...6...7 she is barely moving as she lay spread eagle on the canvas, 8...9...10 and is stunningly counted out!

Winner Doutzen Kroes KO Round 5

After:
A massive knockout from Doutzen here, the former lightweight champion keeps hope of winning this tournament and the welterweight title alive with this win.

While Denise is checking on Jourdan, giving her some smelling salts to bring her around, helping her to sit up as Jourdan just stares at the canvas looking pissed off.

Some at ringside can be heard questioning the validity of Jourdan being classed as elite, that unbeaten run and being feared as the baddest woman in the BBU looks to be gone with each defeat.

Though Denise looks confident she can rebuild herself as she consoles her fighter, putting an arm around her as she tells her that they'll work hard to win the remainder of the tournament fights to finish strong.

Jourdan doesn't look like she cares right now as she stands up and leaves the ring with help from Denise, not wanting to be around Doutzen as she celebrates.

Doutzen doesn't even notice that Jourdan is gone, this her biggest win as a welterweight since she moved up to the division, so she is understandably beaming as she talks to Nicole.

Who is full of praise for Kroes, telling her she stuck perfectly to the game plan and that her destiny is in her hand as the tournament rolls on.

The referee taps the shoulder of Doutzen, she smiles at them as they lead her to the ring center to get her hand raised to a loud cheer from her fans.

Doutzen does a victory lap; pounding her chest with her right fist as she grins warmly to the crowd chanting her name, before she stops at the center of the ring to bow to each side of the ring.

Leaving the ring with Nicole; Doutzen will have to worry about the big hitting Melissa Satta next, who after the last fight has the same record as she does, that will be massive to the tournament table.

While Jourdan faces one of the two in tonight's main event, Caroline Austin is next for her and it's a fight many believe she can lose or the questions over her elite status will be magnified.
