BEFORE:
Clara looking none too happy at the press conference, and we think it’s partly due to the fact that she’s only managed to fight on two occasions last year. But it could also be mainly due to the fact that she happened to LOSE those two matches in humiliating fashion.

“Enough of this,” she declares in heavily-accented Spanish. “I’m done being the one who’s chosen last. I need to win this fight for myself, and this Bianca girl is in my way. If I have to punch her face in until she’s a bloody mess tonight, so be it.”

Always a woman of few words, there’s no denying that the lingerie and swimsuit model has been also busy with other commitments, appearing in a bevy of magazine, photoshoot and cover spreads in the downtime between her boxing matches. But she needs to get back to her winning ways if she’s going to be taken seriously in this circle as well. She’s wearing a red bra and panties set, complete with a pair of black gloves strapped onto her hands.

Her opponent tonight is a relative rookie, yes, but a rookie who’s on a mean winning streak, having gained significant victories over tough opponents like  Sara Tommasi and Ming Xi… certainly not the best choice for someone like Alonso.

“I think Clara’s head just isn’t in the boxing game, whilst mine is. I’ll be more than glad to add another trophy to my collection of wins tonight,” the Italian model stating with utmost confidence.

Bianca approaching the ring tonight in a black lingerie set, donning white leather mitts on either hand as she disrobes to hoots of the crowd, and makes ready in her corner. Referee does his final checks and both girls are nodding their consent to get started, so HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
We were expecting a slow, dramatic built up but heck if these two models care: Bianca and Clara both lunging for the head from the get-go, each girl getting within range and snapping punches towards the face, in the hopes of hurting the other girl badly and early. Clara the one with more fights under her belt and you'd think she'd have an easier time defending herself. But no - Bianca picking her off easily with her overly aggressive advance, hounding the Siren from every angle and actually managing to score a couple of rough ones off the side of her head. Clara managing to fight back somewhat with a late flurry to the lips, but overall she’s not going to take this opening round based on that fact alone.

ROUND 2:
More of the same with both girls getting into each other’s faces immediately and repeatedly. Fast exchange of hands as they plant fists inwards simultaneously, letting out grunts one after the other. Clara finally getting the fuck outta there after a minute or so of this bloodbath, a pained look on her face as she starts defending her head more and more. Bianca emboldened as she doesn’t match the back-tracking, keeps on advancing and firing off into the same targets. A late flurry into the Spaniard’s body has her grunting and bent over, before a right hook CRASHES into her face and unexpectedly ROCKS the brunette badly! Clara falling for that rookie mistake of lowering her guard and then suffering the consequences of leaving her head open. Bianca still rushing and dashing forward, but is unable to score a knockdown when the bell rings out.

ROUND 3:
Bianca showing great promise as she comes forward again, looking to mop things up. But she’s finding a more turtled up Alonso more difficult to penetrate. Alonso keeping her torso low and arms locked in, all the while playing defense with counter-strikes to Bianca’s face now the punches that are doing the worse damage. Bianca getting thumped around in the first half, in between her missed swings Clara’s way. Some light at the end of the tunnel for the Siren as she finally takes a round for herself, though she’s not completely out of the clearing yet. Last minute and girls go back to mutual slugging action, each one scoring with nasty hooks to the face before the bell sounds loud enough for them to pause the action.

ROUND 4:
Bianca losing steam as the damage mounts - she’s coming forward as usual, but her stance betraying her weariness. Clara still steady and calm, picking and choosing her shots in the first minute. Siren scores first with a couple of wicked combos: first with flurries to the face before sending them into the Italian model’s lean body. Bianca letting out loud grunts and starts reeling backwards, trying to pay more attention to her own defences. But second half sees more mutual punishment when Bianca ignores the throbbing in her body and swipes at head, which makes Clara stumble off to the side badly when her chin gets grazed in the crossfire. Alonso still dropping her hands when she gets going, enabling her foes to exploit with some clean shots to the head. Thankfully, Bianca lacking power behind those shots, and Clara’s left standing by the end of the round.

ROUND 5:
Siren not as lucky in the fifth, getting battered to the body when Bianca flies at her early. Clara covering up the head but leather glove still thumping into the middle of her stomach in clean, lung-emptying blows. Bianca obviously trying to get her to make the same mistake twice, and it works! Clara dropping her guard AGAIN, just long enough for the Italian to BASH her across the cheek and SEND HER DOWN to the canvas!

KNOCKDOWN for Bianca Balti!! Crowds on their feet as the catharsis finally’s let loose: we get a result after all that mass brawling in the first four rounds. Clara with a sweat-stained, tear-ridden face as she struggles to rise, pushing herself off her chest before regaining her unsteady footing by the count of 8.

But it’s starting to look like an all-Bianca showing by this point in time. Balti storming forward when the bell rings to resume, this time determined to finish her foe off. Clara absorbing another one-two to the middle of her arms, ALMOST drops her guard as the follow-up three-four smacks hard into her stomach. Bianca’s hooks thrashing her about in close quarters BUT Clara manages to survive this time due to her diligence in keeping guard in check. Instead, Bianca’s head SNAPS back all of a sudden when the Spaniard swings inward and up, CONNECTS with a beauty of an uppercut right to the chin! A lesser woman would be turning tail and running, but Alonso rushing forward after her opponent, returning the favour in the same round with two hooks slamming consecutively into the same cheek, FLOORING Bianca down to the side with a KNOCKDOWN of her own!!

UGHH!! These girls REALLY do not like each other! Clara now the one breathing heavily as she stands above her fallen adversary, and Bianca’s chest is rising and falling, indicating she’s still alive as she sucks in mouthfuls of air, but her eyes are shuttered and completely OUT! Referee runs out on the clock and waves the fight off! IT’S OVER in comeback fashion for Clara Alonso!!

Official Decision: Clara Alonso defeats Bianca Balti via KO5 in Performance of the Night fashion!

AFTER:
Call us biased but we really feel that the award goes to both these girls after an all-out slug-fest. You could tell in almost every round of that fight that either girl wanted the win badly, and it showed from the way they took each other’s heads off at every opportunity.

Unfortunately, there can be only one winner, and Clara Alonso securing a much needed win to legitimise her stint in the ring tonight. She hasn’t had the most success thus far, but hopefully she’ll be able to sustain this momentum going forward.
