Intro:
We head to Paradise Island in Barbados for beach boxing action, kicking off with two stunning Sports Illustrated models stepping into the ring for their first ever bout, American Brooks Nader takes on German Jasmine Sanders.

It has been an interesting few models for Brooks, she made her debut for Sports Illustrated this year, nearly winning their Rookie of the year award, only to be pipped to the post by Josephine Skriver.

Jasmine on the other hand did win the rookie of the year award, she made it to the front cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition alongside Kate Bock and Olivia Culpo this year.

Heading into the fight both women posed together for a photoshoot for this fight, both on a set with a beach theme and a blue screen behind them, posing with fists up as they face off with intense looks, ones that don't disappear as they separate.

Georgie Thompson looks to get a few words from both women before the fight, talking to the Baton Rouge native Brooks in her dressing room, Brooks sitting on her sit wearing a pink satin robe looking relaxed as she welcomes Georgie in.

"God I have wanted to box in either the BBU or FCBA for so long, I have been boxing since I was a teenager to keep myself in great shape as you will see in the photos, going to Gotham gym in New York the past few years, so I hope people realise I am not just a beautiful face" says Nader as she is smiling, proud of her boxing training.

Asked about Jasmine, her mood dampens slightly as she sits forwards a little, she answers "I know Jasmine is proud of her modelling career, hell I've heard she could be as big as bloody Kate Upton, this is boxing though so she doesn't worry me at all, I am going to kick her ass" sternness to her voice as she takes a breath and relaxes again.

The smile returns as she tells Georgie "look I am here to become a big star, in front of that camera, while I know I can become a legend wherever I fight, these *lifts her fists* will cause ripples through this lightweight division" Georgie nodding before she leaves.

Going into Jasmines dressing room, already Jasmine her jeans on, wearing a black bikini top and is barefoot, she warmly welcomes Georgie in as she shakes her hand and waves her in the room.

Slipping her black heels on, Jasmine answers Georgie's question on why she thinks she can be a good fighter "well I have always kept in shape, I train religiously to keep this body and so far I have loved training to fight, getting into that ring with my coaches and sparring has been a thrill, one I look forwards to taking a step forwards by fighting that jealous bytch"

Georgie asks why she believes Brooks is jealous of her, Jasmine replies "I mean look at her career so far, then look at mine, yes I am older but when I was her age I was doing bigger catwalk shows and modelling gigs then she is now, all she is to me is a brat that needs my fists to give her a make over" chuckling as she puts on a black jacket.

"Anything I have put my mind to I succeed at, modeling I am becoming a star, Brooks acts tough because she goes to Gotham gym in New York, I trained at Kronk for this fight, I am more then ready for anything she throws at me" Sanders says as she finishes by hugging Georgie, then leading her out the room so she can get the rest of her stuff ready to leave.

Fighting time with the ring posts set into the sand, two bleachers facing each other on two sides of the ring, a judges table with the coast behind it on the opposite side of where the fighters are going to come onto the beach.

First on the beach is Brooks, she is smiling as she jogs towards the ring, wearing old stars and stripes patterned bikini, red gloves, while her hair is tied back into a braid, looking relaxed as she goes.

Climbing through the ropes into her corner, Brooks shows off her skills by going through punching drills with her coach, who tells her to stay relaxed and just let her punches flow as they do in training.

Jasmine heads out to the beach now, she struts to the ring wearing a black satin robe, which her coach helps to take off to reveal a black string bikini and black gloves, her outfit seeming to make her a crowd favourite as plenty of wolf whistles ring out.

Getting into the ring, Jasmine bows at the ring center to both bleachers, once in her corner she gets serious as she stretches, her coach going through their strategy as Jasmine simply nods along.

Brought to the center by the referee, both women scowl at their opponent, this is an important moment for them and their opponent isn't going to stop them succeeding.

When they are told to touch up their gloves, a crack of leather rings out as they pound their gloves into their rivals, no love shown here as they take a bit longer to glare before returning to their corners, the bell then rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
At the bell both women look excited to get started, swinging in a few hooks already as they step in to trade, Jasmine looking to be sitting on her punches more, turning the head of Brooks already, who retreats back to the outside of the ring.

When Jasmine tries to step after her; she is met by a double jab to the mouth, Brooks looking more a technical boxer of the two, throwing more up on her toes of the two fighters, throwing more straight punches into her opponents face then she is getting back.

After the opening minute both find a rhythm to work with, trading stiff jabs to set up their bigger punches, Jasmine soon dips under a right to bury her fists into the body of Nader, pushing her to the ropes, where she lays in several hooks to the body.

Brooks pushes her off but is finding herself being crowded by Jasmine, with both women slugging it out in close range, Jasmine looking to be winning the exchanges as she keeps getting the actual heavier fighter back onto the ropes.

The final moments of the round sees the American get off the ropes after nudging back Sanders with her left forearm, landing two cross punches as Jasmine opens herself up trying to load up a right hook, Brooks lands a straight to her nose just before the bell rings to end the opening round.

Round 2:
Now they've both had a taste of real boxing action, they come out their corners trading stiffer looking punches, Jasmine again slips her way to the inside, throwing uppercuts that Brooks just does enough to take the sting out of with her guard.

Again though Nader is being worked to the outside of the ring, the game plan for Sanders seems simple, give the American barely any room to work in, force phonebooth exchanges like they are now, with bodies taking the brunt of the blows.

Wrapping Jasmine into a clinch, Brooks is looking annoyed already, knowing the fight isn't starting how she wanted, the referee steps in to break them apart as both women get an arm free to work the others kidneys.

Now back into free space at the halfway point of the round, Brooks catches Jasmine coming in with a left cross/straight combo, she finally seems able to get up on her toes and move again, rifling punches into the face of her opponent to keep her on the outside.

Jasmine is still having some success getting to the inside, trying to sap energy from the more mobile fighter, finding herself taking more punches into her face to do so now, getting nudged back to stop her driving Nader to her heels as easily.

The bell soon rings to end a more evenly fought round, both fighters sitting on their stools intensely staring at their opponent, Jasmine banging her gloves together as she shows she is keen to get back to work.

Round 3:
Back out boxing around the center of the ring, cheeks getting marked up from two punch combos, with them having the same reach it is hard for them to get the range where they want it.

Brooks drills in a left/right cross combo when Jasmine tries to dip down to move inside, a straight pushes back Jasmine towards the outside of the ring, for the first time Nader is camped at the center.

Showing what she can do as a variety of targets get worked over by Brooks, she doesn't just focus on headhunting as she drills in shots to the abs of Sanders, throwing more hooks herself in as Jasmine is mostly stuck to throwing single punches out her guard.

Heading into the final minute of the round, Brooks misses with a straight as Jasmine steps under it using her left shoulder to bump back Brooks, AN UPPERCUT FOLLOWS TO KNOCK NADER DOWN TO HER BACKSIDE!

First knockdown coming for Jasmine and she enjoys it as she waves mockingly at Brook, jogging over to the neutral corner with a big smile, 1...2...3... Brooks looks embarrassed more then hurt, slapping the sand as she curses herself, 4...5...6.. Pushing up to her right knee, watching the referee, 7...8.. She is up banging her gloves together, the referee checks her, then after cleaning her gloves let's them back at each other.

Jasmine straight in like a shark, bashing back Brooks behind her guard into a corner, not a lot actually landing but it is stopping Brooks counter attacking, up till the round comes to a close, Brooks looking to the heavens cursing herself for losing a round she looked to be winning.

Round 4:
Judging by her movements at the start of this round, Brooks knockdown was a flash one, she is still dancing around Jasmine, burying in her punches between and around the mitts of the German born fighter.

Who leans out the way of a right cross before slamming in a straight to the mouth of Brooks, Jasmine stepping in closer to force the issue again, a hard hitting exchange follows as sweat flies off them, along with groans and gasps.

Just missing with an uppercut as Brooks sees it coming in time, Jasmine gets laced across her beautiful face with a left hook, a straight pushes her backwards as Brooks starts to put her punches together again.

Finding herself herded near the ropes; Jasmine is fighting back hard, the crowd loving the action as they stand to yell both fighters on, Brooks looks to be getting the better of things, especially when she steps inside with a sneaky left forearm across the bust of Sanders, a right slamming twice into the side of her opponent's head.

After clinching up to get herself off the ropes, Jasmine this time is the one to catch the overly keen Nader coming in, bashing a left to her ribs after she ducks under a right hook, she follows with an overhand right to her fellow models cheek to her head.

Driving back Brooks in the final twenty seconds of the round into a corner, Jasmine lands several shots to the abs of Brooks to make her groan as the American looks to be wincing up till the bell rings.

Sitting on their stools, both women know they are locked in a fight with a tough opponent, neither wanting to give the other an inch as their fans are chanting their names, whose fans are louder is it's own debate right now as it is an electric atmosphere.

Round 5:
Starting to time Jasmine coming at her better, Brooks is landing more cleaner punches into the beautiful face of her opponent, knocking her head back with a double jab before sidestepping an overhand right to counter with a right of her own to the side of her head.

After an opening minute of getting knocked to the outside of the ring, Jasmine finds a way in closer as she parries a straight to land a straight of her own into the mouth of Nader, a left cross turns the younger fighters head as Sanders begins to back up Nader.

Shoving back Jasmine to open up space, Brooks fights Jasmine at the center of the ring, both planting their feet in the sand to go toe to toes, cheeks are starting to redden up as neither gives an inch as hooks are flying.

Leaning out the way of a left hook, Brooks stabs a jab onto the nose of her opponent, a right hook follows to the side of Jasmine's head to send sweat flying off her, there's a stumble from Sanders as she overextended with the hook.

Backed up to the ropes as a left/right/left smacks square into her face, Jasmine tries to cover up as there's under forty seconds left in the round, Brooks switching things up as she buries her fists close to the waistband of Jasmine, who groans out as she bends forwards into an uppercut that rocks her back to the ropes.

The round ends with Jasmine shaking her head, that uppercut she took definitely hurt her as she returns to her corner, her coach working on her telling Jasmine to not be lulled into a mistake like that again or this will be a long night for her.

Round 6:
Banging her gloves together as she steps out her corner, Jasmine looks to bring the fight to Brooks, both women trading stiff shots as they fight around the center, grunts and barks come from them as the crowd roar them on.

Brooks deflects a right cross to counter with a right to the nose of Jasmine, who shuts her eyes a moment before a left cross smacks her across her beautiful face, Brooks starting to hammer back Sanders towards the ropes.

Forcing Jasmine to clinch up with her, both glistening fighters grind their bodies as they hiss into the others ear, the competitive edge both have on show as the referee struggles to break the fighters apart, doing so after the third time of yelling at them to break.

Once apart Jasmine comes swinging in more with hooks, maybe a hint of desperation on show as now she is the one on the back foot, most of her punches miss though as Brooks easily sees them coming, pounding in her own punches in reply to the cheeks of the older woman.

Coming near the end of the round, Brooks slips a jab before hammering a left across the jaw of Jasmine, SHE LANDS AN UPPERCUT, THEN ANOTHER LEFT HOOK TO SEND JASMINE SPRAWLING TO HER BACK!

Blowing a kiss to Jasmine to mock her as Jasmine did her, Brooks certainly loved that combo, jogging to the neutral corner for the count to begin, 1...2...3....4... Jasmine turns to all fours, crawling to the ropes, 5...6...7.. Using them to start dragging herself up, 8...9.. She is up to her feet, lifting her gloves up to show she can fight on.

After being dusted down by the referee, Jasmine is allowed to box on, throwing defensive jabs as really for the first time in the fight, she tries to box off the back foot, maybe lucky for her their wasn't much left in the round as the bell rings.

Returning to their stools, Jasmine gets water poured over her head to try to waken her up fully, Brooks meanwhile stays standing as she takes on water, her coach telling her not to get reckless, wait for the opening before giving it to Jasmine.

Round 7:
Stepping back out their corners, that knockdown seems to have sapped some confidence from Jasmine, she isn't as keen to close the gap between them as much, leading to Brooks being the aggressor.

Though Brooks is being patient in her own way, throwing out jabs as she wants to cut off the ring judging by her movement, feinting with a left cross to force Jasmine to move towards her right, WHERE BROOKS LANDS THE RIGHT HOOK SHE WANTED ACROSS THE CHIN OF JASMINE, WHOSE HEAD TURNS BEFORE SHE FALLS TO HER LEFT SIDE IN A HEAP!

Turning to the crowd, Brooks raises her arms in the air as she thinks that is it, the referee nudging away Brooks to a neutral corner so the count can begin, 1...2...3...4.. Jasmine is blinking but nobody looks to be home, 5...6...7... Gumshield is spat out by Jasmine as she slowly rolls to her back, 8...9...10 that's all she wrote for Jasmine!

Winner Brooks Nader KO Round 7

After:
For two rookies both laid it all out in this fight, Brooks pounds her gloves together before raising them above her head, her cheeks are reddened up but her smile is still stunning, the Nader supporters are going crazy as they chant her name.

All the while Jasmine's coach rushes to check on her, smelling salts used to fully bring around the beaten fighter, who is helped to sit up so she can be checked over by the ringside doctor, she looks peeved to say the least about this result as she tells the doctor she will be OK.

The fighters exchange a quick glance, it certainly isn't a friendly look exchanged as they stare angrily at each other, before Brooks turns her back on Jasmine to go to her corner crew.

Where Brooks is given a heroes return, hugged by her corner crew, all tell her how proud they are of her, how they were impressed by her coming back from the knockdown to beat Jasmine, Brook asking them "did you really doubt me?" All laugh before they say no.

On the other side of the ring Jasmine stews, tossing her gloves to the sand as she sits on her stool, this was supposed to be her big debut but it was stolen in her eyes by Brooks, telling her corner team "that bytch was lucky as hell, I had her! I know I did" as they say you need to grab chances when they come, Jasmine didn't though.

When both fighters are ready, they come to the ring center for the final result to be announced, the different mannerisms of the fighters clearly on show as Brooks is beaming when her hand is raised, Jasmine doesn't even look in her direction, just shaking her head still in disbelief it isn't her hand being raised in victory.

Instead all Jasmine can do for now is leave the ring licking her wounds, her coach pointing out she gave a good account of herself, with plenty of fighters she can beat to build herself up, then come back at Brooks at a later date.

In the ring, Brooks blows kisses to the crowd as she mounts each bottom ropes in the corners, posing afterwards at the center for the cameras, hands on her hips as she stares hard into the camera, maybe a warning to her future opponents that she is here to take names.

Then she leaves the ring with her corner crew, her gloves tied together hang around her shoulders, thanking her corner team as she tells them "with you guys I am going to the top" getting big smiles and nods from those behind her, she certainly has come out the blocks strong, can she go on a good run or will be a flash in the pan?
