(Foxfire Atlantic Boxing vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Next up in the Contender Six tournament, Rose Byrne looks to turn things around after losing her first fight in the opening round, Samaria Regalado on the other hand looks to prove her debut win wasn't a fluke.

Rose is 40 years old; she stands 5'6 ½, holding a record of 4 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 13 defeats.

Samaria is 26 years old; she stands 5'7, holding an undefeated record of 1 win, that coming by way of knockout.

The fighters were asked to do a video in the build up to this fight, in the Foxfire gym Rose looks annoyed as she works over a punch bag, losing her last fight in her hometown seems to still be on her mind.

"For the past month I thought about losing to Alice Eve, all the time I've been working hard because I will not pass up a golden chance at victory, Alice knows I had her and the next time we fight she won't be as lucky" Rose tells the camera before whacking the bag with a right hook.

"I'm sorry to say to Samaria but I have plenty of anger to get out, she'll be my punch bag in a few days, she looks promising but I am going to come at her hard, wear her down till my hand is raised" continues Rose as she puts her head on the bag and shuts her eyes.

Tossing her gloves off to the floor; Rose asks if they are done, when she clearly gets a nod yes, she heads off to the showers quickly to maybe cool down.

In Samaria's video she is much more cheerful, sitting on a ring apron after finishing sparring a local woman, the two sharing a joke before the sparring partner let's Samaria have time alone to speak to the camera.

"What can I say other then I am so excited right now, getting my first fight in the BBU in this tournament, going on to knockout Lacey, (Turner) I am buzzing and wanting to face off with Rose right now, hell call her up so we can fight in this gym" Samaria laughs as she looks truly ecstatic to be in the BBU.

"OK so I better be serious for a little bit, Rose I know will be a different proposition, she took Alice (Eve) to the depths in their fight, I am younger then Alice though so I'm not worried one bit about what she can do, she should be scared how she looks when it is over" Samaria adds as she grins and flexes her right arm, before heading off after blowing a kiss to the camera.

Fight night; Rose heads out first with Sophia Myles beside her, she looks in a focused mood as she jogs down the aisle straight to the ring, not bothering with the crowd.

She is wearing a green sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, gold gloves, while her brunette hair is tied back into a braid.

Getting inside the ring, Rose thuds her gloves together as she heads to her corner, Sophia reminding her to not get too emotional tonight, it's all about the win and not just about being angry.

Samaria heads out the curtain and fist bumps with her right, then struts down the aisle with her coach following behind, asking the crowd "how long will she last?" Pointing at Rose and getting different answers, some confident of an early stoppage, others not so it seems.

The model is wearing Atlanta Falcons colours, red sports bra with black trim, matching trunks and shoes, black gloves with red thumbs, her hair is tied back into a braid.

Stepping inside the ring, Samaria blows kisses to the fans as she jogs towards her corner, once there her expression turns serious as she expects a hard fight clearly tonight.

The referee brings the fighters together at the center of the ring, their eyes are locked as there is clear tension between them, Samaria will have seen the intentions of Rose in the Aussie woman's video before this fight.

They bump gloves hard before turning back to their corners, final instructions are given by coaching teams, the bell then rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Coming out their corners they circle around the center of the ring, Rose looking the keener to throw more punches, problem is when she is trying to move in she is getting clipped by Samaria with hooks.

The model is more up on her toes, watching closely for what Rose is going to do, maybe knowing that Rose is wanting to be aggressive out the blocks.

Rose is finally able to slip a straight to land two body shots, just missing with an overhand left as Samaria backs up, a straight slams into the head of the actress to knock her back to the outside.

The cleaner punches are coming from Regalado, with Rose landing some nice punches when she can move to the inside, the footwork of the model though is making the difference in this round.

When the round comes to an end, Rose can be seen mumbling a curse under her breath, not happy the way she has kicked off this fight, Sophia telling her to keep calm and not loss herself to her temper.

Round 2:
Samaria is looking smooth when she is able to move around Rose, drilling straight punches into the gloves and face of her opponent, keeping her at a range she seems happy with.

Dipping under a left though allows Rose to slip inside, hammering in the body shots, Samaria nudges back Rose so she can land a right to the top of her head.

The veteran is starting to find more ways around the punches of Samaria, drilling in several crisp short sharp body shots, making Samaria back up to the outside of the ring.

That allows Rose to start dictating the pace, moving her head more to dodge shots, slinging in her punches to the body of the younger woman, clearly trying to sap some energy from her.

A double jab though knocks back the head of Rose late on in the round, Samaria getting off the ropes as she looks to show some fighting spirits up till the bell rings to end the round.

Stepping apart to go back to their corners, Samaria is told not to get worried by this round, physically they see her as the better woman and that's the key to victory in their eyes.

Round 3:
Bouncing out their corners looking up for this, Samaria slips a straight early on to hammer in two body shots, taking a left to her cheek to turn her head though.

Rose looking to keep on the front foot, landing several clean shots to the mouth of Samaria as she works her back towards the ropes, when she swings down to the body though leaves her open up top.

Maybe the Aussie has focused too much at the body as Samaria hammers a right hook to the side of her head, a left cross/uppercut combo knocks back Byrne to her heels.

Back comes Samaria as she lands to the guard of Rose, who shows a staunch defence but can't land more then single punches, stepping back around the ring with the model hunting her down.

Feinting with a jab to the body of Rose, seeing that guard dip slightly is enough for Samaria to strike with the right hook up top to the side of her opponent's head to send some spit out the mouth of Rose.

The round comes to a close with Rose being kept near the ropes, Samaria enjoying her control it seems at the bell, turning on her heels and jogging to her corner pumping her right fist into the air, knowing she took that round with a great late rally.

Round 4:
Moving more side to side, forcing the older woman to come at her, drilling a stiff left jab square into the mitts of Rose, Samaria is looking like she is flowing with confidence.

Rose does make her think as she dips down to hammer in two punches to the abs of Samaria, just missing with an overhand right as the rookie gets her glove up just in time to block it.

A little nudge from Samaria allows her to land a double jab/straight combo into the face, sending sweat off the head of Rose as she retreats back.

While Samaria is throwing flurries, looking to bully back her opponent, forcing Rose to keep her guard tight as she is being outworked right now, clear to see annoying Byrne.

In the final minute Rose is able to dip down under a straight, landing a counter overhand left to the cheek of Samaria, an uppercut sends sweat flying off the head of the American.

Coming back at Samaria, she opens up some nice body shots, till Rose finds herself clinched up, gritting her gumshield as the referee has to step in to split them apart.

Samaria finishing the final moments off with a left/right straight combo into the face of Rose, which is getting marked up by the pinpoint shots of Samaria up to the bell.

It's the model looking to be pulling away with this now, her coach wiping her down as she chats about how free she feels right now in there.

Across the ring Sophia is whispering something to Rose, who nods before her face with washed down, they seem to be plotting something as the crowd cheers both women on as they stand up for the next round.

Round 5:
Leaving off where she did the last round, Samaria looks good on the move with her punches landing to the cheeks of Rose, who is forced to move her head more to dodge shots.

The tempo is being controlled by Samaria, she is landing mostly on the gloves of her opponent now, but her work rate is keeping Byrne under wraps.

Slipping under a straight punch; Rose drills a right into the gut of Samaria, who didn't seem to like that as she backs up to land a double jab to the top of the Aussie's head.

The scare doesn't seem to have worried Samaria, she keeps on plugging behind straight shots as Rose is dipping down more to throw to the abs of the American.

A missed right from Regalado leaves her open, Rose taking the chance to land a right hook to the solar plexus of Samaria, A FOLLOW UP LEFT TO THE LIVER OF THE MODEL SENDS HER DOWN TO ALL FOURS!

The crowd are stunned to see Samaria down after the control she had, 1...2...3... Samaria punches the canvas before shoving up to her haunches, 4...5...6.. Looking at the referee as she rubs her stomach, 7...8.. She beats the count but looks a little shook up.

They resume with Rose landing some more stiff body shots in, Samaria is grimacing with each hit as she is clearly hurt, the bell maybe saving her from more punishment as the Foxfire corner jump up and down.

Getting back to her corner, Samaria stays standing as she tries to regulate her breathing, her coach telling her to box defensively till she can get herself back in fighting shape.

Across the ring Rose is standing too, though in her case swelling around her eyes is being worked, Sophia telling her to grab this opportunity with both hands.

Round 6:
Samaria steps out her corner throwing punches as she moves around the outside of the ring, trying to keep Rose at arms length.

But Rose deflects a left to step in the pocket with two rights under the ribs of Samaria, who tries to clinch up with the Aussie, she gets pushed back though by Rose.

With a right digging into the abs of Samaria, who bends over groaning out with her eyes shut, A FOLLOW UP RIGHT FOLLOWS AGAIN TO THE BODY TO SEND SAMARIA DOWN TO ALL FOURS AGAIN!

Rose lifts her hands in the air before turning to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Regalado's corner team look down at the floor, 4...5...6.. While Samaria spits out her gumshield as she rolls her to her back, 7...8... Taking deep breaths as 9...10 that's the end of the fight for Samaria.

Winner Rose Byrne KO Round 6

After:
A good win for Rose to get her tournament going in the right direction now, she looks up to the sky with her arms in the air, Sophia applauding her as she climbs onto the apron in their corner.

The coach of Samaria heads into the ring to check on her, helping her sit up with Samaria saying "f*** that hurt, I better get not let anyone do that to me in future" her coach smiling as her humour seems to still be there.

She is helped up to her feet as Rose passes them by without even looking over at her, Samaria just staring at Rose as she looks annoyed at the lack of care from her opponent.

Both women get cleaned up in their corner, Rose getting a pat on the back by her team as she grins, her mood definitely changed from when she first stepped into the ring, facing a brighter future in this tournament.

Across the ring Samaria gets her breath back with her hands on her head, opening her lungs up as the coach tells her "you'll feel better soon" Samaria cracking a smile as she replies "hope so"

The referee waves the fighters to the center of the ring, with Samaria trying to keep her spirits up it seems with a smile, Rose just shakes her head seeing that, thinking she is naive it seems.

Getting her right hand raised by the referee, Rose stands with her left arm flexed for her fans, Samaria nodding before turning to leave the ring, knowing she has to work hard, especially as she has Alice Eve waiting for her in the next round of fights.

Rose meanwhile poses for cameras with Sophia beside her, Sophia saying "the comeback to the top begins tonight" with Rose thanking her for the support.

They soon leave the ring with Rose handing her gloves off to a young woman in the front row of the crowd, smiling as the girl looks excited by the gift.

Rose jogs up the aisle with Sophia saying "guess we need to watch the main event" where Rose's next opponent is, Maya Jama is the woman who has the task of stopping Rose making a comeback in this tournament, with Rose looking like she has her confidence
