Inna vs Nadine Coyle

BEFORE: This fight carries a lot of bad blood even though both Inna & Nadine Coyle have struggled to reach the contenders' status over the years. Inna tries to bounce back from a tough stoppage to Cher Lloyd on last month's Boxing Day PPV while several pundits claim it's the last chance for Nadine Coyle to move on from her punchbag status which only makes former Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole look better & better while holding onto to the BBU flyweight title these days.

"Don't even say a word about Cheryl! She's doing her thing and I'm doing mine!", Nadine is clearly upset that BBU TV's Denise van Outen tries to connect some dots between former Girls Aloud bandmates, "This is a big fight for me and if that lousy tramp Cher Lloyd could beat her up, so can I and that's a FACT! Watch me punch her all the way back to Romania tonight!"

Inna refuses to speak to the BBU TV this time but shows plenty of bad temper when she bunny hops around the Irish singer during the introductions and amost punches her in the boobs without any warning. She barely touches the fellow brunette's gloves and makes some additional gestures aimed at the Lioness Club coaching staff before we finally kick this fight off!

Inna wears a red bikini set & yellow gloves. Long black hair tied in a curled ponytail. Nadine Coyle wears a white bikini set with red trim & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Nadine might not exactly call Cheryl her BFF these days but she must have watched some Geordie tape as she powers ahead to connect with the fellow brunette's cheeks in a spirited jabbing rally that drops Inna on her heels as she struggles to work around the superior reach of her opponent. Nadine quickly establishes authority in the mid-range drill alas she lacks the big punch to truly sink the subdued Romanian into more trouble. Once Inna realizes she can't do much in the counter-punching department, she decides to use her mobility and simply stay out of harm's way. Coyle tries to crank it up but only loses her accuracy down the stretch as she fails to engage in another head-hunting pursuit while Inna bides her time to run down the clock which is a welcomed change from her overzealous approach in the Cher Lloyd disaster.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second as Nadine channels the mid-range juice early on but lacks a signature punch and keeps Inna floating around on her heels. The Romanian counter-punching finds more success this time especially when she ducks low underneath Nadine's aerial efforts and drills her breadbasket to stagger the Irish woman down the stretch. Coyle's punching resistance has always dragged her among the absolute worst in the division and she gets exposed too much during the second minute as Inna rallies to the body to knock her back onto the ropes. A quick aerial swing bounces off the top of Inna's forehead but she still drops more heat on the Irish midriff and folds the owner into a desperate guard before the bell halts this Romanian charge prematurely.

Round 3:
Inna shows more aggression early in the third but still can't neutralize Nadine's superior reach who barks in her efforts to resume the dominant position landing crisp single shots up the middle. Inna's lithe footwork helps her along the way but she takes one deke too many and eats a smoker on the nose as Nads lands her best strike of the lot and wobbles the smaller brunette on her heels on the spot. She quickly adds a nasty shot in the chest to render Inna breathless for a moment before a left/right hooking combo finds the temples and reels the Romanian into the ropes with a whimper. Coyle jumps at the subdued girl with more aerial strikes and pins her behind a hectic earmuff but it's only a shot in the belly that folds Inna into spasms and allows the Irish singer to really put some heat in the final stretch. She buries Inna into more loud spasms but once again finds the power supply lacking and has every right to be upset when the bell forces a break moments later.

Round 4:
Inna goes back to avoiding another slugging exchange in the center of the ring and still has the dominant footwork to escape the Irish attack. Nads keeps hassling the other singer around the ring but only skims off her flesh and loses her temper once Inna taunts her to show some speed. The Romanian babe might be a little spooked but dances around with the gloves below her waist and Coyle can't get to her quick enough before a late counter-punching effort actually allows Inna to land some punches into the exposed Irish midriff. Nadine has lost her focus wholesale after that failed pursuit and eats more leather to the body which then extends into a lenghty clinch as she just can't shake her opponent off. One can argue about her genuine strenght but she's unable to physically hurt the younger brunette who responds in another taunting manner after the bell. That's quite rich from Inna who's not exactly leading on the scorecards up to this point!

Round 5:
Nadine keeps hassling the Romanian around but meets a stubborn guard this time and falls into a somewhat predictable body assault following the initial exchange. Heck, even Denise van Outen saw this coming but Inna still reels the Irish girl onto her heels while she drives it up her gut and almost catches her with a stray headbutt on the chin! She belts the older brunette right around the waist line - or even lower - before cracking a left hook on the chin that sends Coyle tripping onto the ropes. The lanky Irish lass isn't quick enough to adjust for the looming assault and gets trapped butt-in-ropes when Inna flies in to connect with her face for a swift change. Huh! Coyle's head snaps back repeatedly and she wilts under the high-octane pressure that has Inna barking in her native tongue until she cripples her victim into spasms just before the bell. When it sounds Inna still bangs one extra shot on the ribs and makes Nadine look very vulnerable despite all that good work before!

Round 6:
Inna's speed comes to the fore early in the sixth as she beats Nadine for the opening punch and tags her jaw with a couple of big hooks before switching downstairs again to drill the exposed ribcage. Ugh! The Irish lass struggles to embrace this attack and wobbles forward while mistiming her response; she only bounces off the top of Inna's shoulder and gets swamped by the body assault that folds her into loud spasms as the smaller brunette works her drill on speed dial to back the hapless opponent into the ropes where she connects with her breasts for a good measure. Ugh! Nadine begins to scowl in pain and while she tries to clinch the fellow singer, she gets WHACKED on the jaw a couple of times which drops her into shimmy shake mode - and Inn's there to pounce! She hauls in a brutal hook on the liver TO DROP COYLE INTO A SCREAMING DEMISE!!! Several more accomplished fighters have failed to recover from such a blow and Nads is reduced into a sobbing mess while kneeling down and resting her head against the canvas! The count passes her by and it's a huge come-from-behind KO6 Inna!!!

AFTER: Lioness coach Mel B. is furious since this was Nadine's fight to lose and well, she lost it! Once again the lack of core strenght and suspicious resistance kills off any hopes that Nadine can join the contenders' bracket and quite frankly she's a hot mess punchbag according to the BBU social media! What an epic disaster, folks!

Meanwhile Inna lets all her anger out and taunts Mel B. in the Lioness corner but her English remains a little off so the former Scary Spice pretends not to understand her. This being said, Lioness can send another flyweight or two to silence this pesky Romanian in the future even though that's not exactly their priority right now. Inna still poses for the cameras over the kneeling Coyle and claims to be ready for more elite action but her up & down career requires another proper test before anyone can announce her true revival.
