Mandy Capristo (Lioness Club) v Michelle Keegan (Beever's Babes)

Michelle is fighting back in BBU, and she takes on pretty German singer Mandy, who will start a warm favourite against her tonight, with a solid recent record behind her, with Michelle struggling to repeat her success of a few years ago.

Into the ring they come, with Michelle in a silky black top and red pants, and Mandy in a purple one piece swimsuit, the girls eyeing each other and tapping gloves before returning to their corners.

Round 1
The girls are straight on it, each of them unloading good jabs on the other’s face, and neither bothering too much about defence, Michelle beginning to affect Mandy with her right crosses and hooks as well as she sends the singer back to her own corner, comes in closer, then finds Mandy banging punches into her body, and that sets her back a little, Mandy coming off the ropes, but walking into a nice right and left combination from the actress, who really seems to fancy her chances of knocking Mandy over early, the younger girl still resisting well, and coming for Michelle in the closing stages, the actress defending, and keeping her at bay as she gets a good opening round behind her. 

Round 2
Michelle looks sharp, looks keen, and she looks for Mandy’s chin straight away, unloading a neat left and right at the singer’s face, but Mandy blocks Michelle’s efforts, and hurts the actress with a heavy right hook to her body, which seems to stop her in her tracks, leaving her vulnerable to Mandy’s lovely left cross which has her teetering backwards, and a left jab is followed with a right hook, and suddenly Michelle’s down, sitting on the canvas, looking at Mandy and blinking, the referee counting. Michelle’s up at 6, looking confused, but steady, and Mandy tucks into her with good body punches, Michelle taking something of a beating in this round, struggling to keep her guard intact as Mandy works her back to the ropes, Michelle using her body to lean on the singer, and stifle her efforts to put her back on the canvas, but that’s a superb round from the German babe.

Round 3
Can Mandy keep up the pressure on Michelle? She may have lost a few fight lately, but the Brit doesn’t go down easily as a rule, and she’s looking embarrassed that she’s already been put on her butt, and needs to defend again as Mandy clips her lips with a right hook, Michelle’s head turned sideways by that, but she catches Mandy with a right hook of her own, her glove cracking into the singers left eye, and that’s hurt her now, Mandy blinking hard, and she’s lost concentration for a moment, Michelle cashing in on that lapse by banging some deep punches into Mandy’s slim frame, her body buckling under the attack, Michelle thudding her punches in, and Mandy’s knees are quaking, the girl on the ropes, and now it’s Michelle’s turn to unload her big shots, so that at the end of the round, Mandy’s not in good shape, cut to her left eyebrow and unhappy.

Round 4
The girls trade shots in the centre of the ring, Michelle reopening the cut in Mandy’s left eyebrow early, although the singer isn’t bothered, her blood trickling down her cheek away from her eye, not into it, so that she can still box Michelle, and she’s doing just that, working the Brit around the ring, dominating the centre, and her punches are beginning to take their toll on Michelle’s resistance, the Brit not moving as well as the round continues, Mandy breathing heavily as well, putting a lot of effort into this round as well – but she’s getting reward, because Michelle’s right cheek is swelling by the second, and she’s going to need treatments on that, Mandy getting in nice and close, but she slips, and Michelle again takes advantage, thudding some real heavy punches into Mandy’s pretty face, as she comes back into the round late on, not enough to steal the round back, but enough to weaken Mandy.

Round 5
Michelle starts the round well, banging in some nice punches to Mandy’s body, the singer backing off, but punching well in retreat, her jab finding Michelle’s face too easily for comfort as she starts to look the better girl again, prodding the actress backwards, and wanting to set her up for that lovely left hook to her body, but Michelle’s ready, and picks the slimmer girl off with sharp punches over her guard, the cut over Mandy’s left eye open again, blood trickling down her cheek, then spraying as Michelle catches her with a great right hook, and the singer holds and clinches, running down the clock after taking that punch, the referee separating the girls, Mandy staying evasive through to the bell as she loses control of round five.

Round 6
Mandy starts the round well this time, beating Michelle to the punch in the opening seconds, her left jab thudding hard into Michelle’s bruised right cheek, but the actress takes what Mandy has, then returns fire, knocks the singer’s head back with a couple of solid punches, then rifles one into her midriff, and that seems to have winded her, the singer folding over, taking a left hook to the side of her head, and down she goes! Mandy’s down and struggling for breath, up at 7, but anything but recovered, so Michelle takes her on again, and pretty much takes her apart, splatting punches into her face, blood spraying, Michelle giving it to the singer, left, right, left again, then a right hook, and back down goes Mandy, on her back now, and she hardly stirs as the referee counts to 10.

Result: Michelle Keegan knocked out Mandy Capristo in round 6

Michelle looked in good form tonight, against a solid and talented boxer, and Mandy is clearly unhappy as she sits on her stool, feeling that she has let her stable down.
