Intro:
The main event of tonights special Crossover preview card sees a battle between two elite welterweights in the world, Joan Smalls and Kate Upton step into the legendary Royal Albert Hall in London to settle which one deserves to be recognized as the better fighter.

In the build up to the fight both gave a few words to the BBU TV cameras about this fight, first in the hot seat was Joan wearing a red bikini top and blue denim shorts, looking in a good mood as she sat down.

She starts off by saying "two years ago I was offered a fight with Amanda Righetti, I was the BBU welterweight champion at the end and the risk was too great for me to take that fight, it has been one of those big ifs how would I do against one of the best outside of the BBU, I am so excited that I get to answer that question finally for myself"

Pushing a loose hair behind her right ear, Joan continues "I know the task ahead of me isn't going to be an easy one, Kate is truly one of the greatest in the sport and she is younger then me, I wish my talents had been recognized earlier but what can you do right?" Laughing to herself as she shrugs her shoulders.

"All I know is that I can beat Kate, if I land on her flush then she is going down, this is my chance to prove I am not simply going to stick fighting small fish when I am good enough to take out the sharks, the Queen is going to be under my heel soon" Joan's finishes looking more serious.

Kate is next up wearing a yellow bikini top that struggles to keep her assets in, with yellow shorts completing her look, she also is looking full of joy in the house, enjoying the weather here in the UK seemingly.

"It's funny two years ago I hadn't given any thought to coming to the BBU, I was happy knocking out fighters in America, if it were not for that loud mouth bytch Kelly (Brook) I would have stayed in the FCBA, so I guess the other BBU fighters should thank her for bringing a real Queen to their doorstep" Kate says with a cocky grin.

"I mean since I've been here I have beaten Kelly in a series of fights, won the JMDD title and dominated, now Joan wants to step up to me, well I have been waiting for her to do so because I watched her too, we were both welterweight champion at the same time, she is lucky at the time I wasn't interested in unifying the belts because her reign would have been a short one" adds the blonde bombshell with a smile.

Sitting forwards a little, Kate finishes by saying "now it's time to put to bed any ideas that Joan can actually be put on my level, when I knock her out I never want to hear anyone mention her when they talk about me, I'm the gold standard in celebrity boxing" then heading off after thanking the cameraman by blowing them a kiss with a wink.

Fight night; out comes Joan first with her coach Rebecca Romijn and cut woman Eva Carneiro, Joan looks relaxed as she heads down the aisle, this the biggest fight possibly of her entire career, like with the others she looks determined to add another highlight to her career.

The Puerto Rican fighter is wearing a black bikini top, black shorts with white trim, black gloves with white thumbs, she takes off her black heels as she is boxing barefoot tonight, her brunette hair tied back into a fighting braid.

Getting inside the ring, Joan is greeted by a loud cheer by her supporters, she gives them a quick wave and a smile, once settled into her corner though she is shadow boxing to warm up.

Now out comes Kate with her coach Nicole Kidman, she looks regal as she struts down the aisle wearing a gold coloured satin robe, eyes on the ring as she has on a cocky smirk.

Helped by Nicole with her robe, the American is revealed to be wearing a gold coloured bikini top, matching shorts and gloves, also barefoot like her opponent, her blonde hair is tied into a ponytail.

Stepping inside the ring, Kate poses at the center of the ring with hands on her hips, staring straight at Joan, trying to intimidate her, Joan just stares right back, making Kate's smirk grow wider as she seems excited to see fire in her opponent.

After both have finished their warm ups and introductions are made, the fighters come to the center of the ring, going nose to nose as Joan looks slightly down on Kate, the crowd going slightly quiet as they feel the tension between these two women.

When they are told to touch their gloves with their opponent, they swipe them together, not much respect shown as they are more keen to return to their corners, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding" off they go! Stepping to the ring center to trade a few cross punches and jabs, moving around the center of the ring, Kate lands a left cross to the cheek of Joan before she gets hit with a straight to her forehead.

After they both step back to reset, Joan's jab and her footwork look on point for the next thirty seconds of the round, knocking back the head of the blonde as she keeps her at range.

Kate showing why she is an elite fighter too though, deflecting a jab with her right glove, stepping in closer with a jab of her own to the mouth of the taller fighter.

Once in close Kate lashes in an uppercut to knock back Joan to her heels, pressing back Smalls to the ropes with her punches banging away to the toned body of Joan, Kate smothers her fellow models work.

Joan needing to shove back Kate to create space, she can't seem to keep it for long though as Kate is getting stronger as the round goes on, till she knocks Joan into a corner with a crisp jab/right cross combo.

The round comes to a close with Joan banging her gloves together, borne out of frustration at being out worked, Kate smirking as she sits on her stool, the "Queen" the definitely in a confident mood tonight.

Round 2:
Rifling her jab more as she moves side to side, Joan looks to keep Kate back off her, knowing while she hits hard that Upton seems the better fighter on the inside.

She gets another taste of Kate's inside fighting game when the blonde slips a jab, bashing in two hooks to Smalls body, she lands an overhand right to knock back the former BBU champion to her heels.

When Joan is driven onto the ropes, she clinches up with Kate, referee needed to split them apart as Kate can be seen taunting Joan, telling her she isn't good enough to share a ring with her.

Maybe that's why Kate is open for a counter right cross when she tries to come back to the inside with a jab, Joan follows with a double jab to the side of Upton's beautiful face.

Unlike the first round Kate is starting to struggle keeping her rhythm, Joan moving more on her toes with her straight headhunting punches is bashing back the American, keeping her on the outside with an annoyed look creeping on her face.

After missing with a straight, Kate eats a left hook/uppercut combo just before the bell rings, Joan pounds her chest with her right glove as if to tell Kate that she isn't going to be beaten easily.

Round 3:
Both women come out strong to start the third, trading hard jabs to faces and bodies, they have determined looks to their faces as Kate seems to realise she can't bulldoze Joan so easily as she thought.

Especially when Joan lands a nice double jab/straight combo to the forehead of Upton, knocking her back a step as Smalls looks to pound back the JMDD legend to the ropes.

But Kate lands an uppercut to the left boob of Joan, that surprises Joan enough for Kate to be able to land a left hook to the jaw of the Victoria Secret model.

Now it's Kate in the driving seat as she bashes back Joan across the ring, pumping in body shots as Joan groans with each clean punch, till her back touches the ropes.

Pulling Kate down into a front headlock, Joan looks happy when the referee steps in to break them apart, not so happy when Kate calls her a coward.

Trading around the center of the ring, there's great exchanges as both land some crisp combos into their opponent's face, cheeks marked up on both women's stunning faces.

Dying seconds of the round Kate lands an overhand left, then a straight into the face of her opponent to knock her back onto her heels, the bell rings before she can plough on more pressure though.

Round 4:
Banging her gloves together as she steps out her corner, Joan showing more emotion then she normally does in a fight, trading stiff punches with Kate on the inside as they body up to each other.

That isn't too smart for Joan, Kate out muscling her in these exchanges, using her left shoulder to bump back the taller woman before lashing out two or three punch combos to make Joan wince.

Using her left forearm to the boobs of Kate, Joan slams a right hook across the side of the Lookout! Fighters head, landing a double jab to follow to knock back the head of Upton to the joy of her corner.

Pushing back Kate to the outside of the ring, Joan is controlling the action well with a better selection of punches, finding more holes in Kate's defences then the American would like.

It doesn't mean Kate isn't able to get in close to land some hard punches, she keeps getting knocked back though by either a nudge or an uppercut forces her to retreat back.

At the end of the round it's another Smalls round, both corners wiping down their fighters as their coaches tell their fighters what to improve on, this is getting too close for comfort for both Rebecca and Nicole.

Round 5:
At the bell both come out hard again, Kate looking to land a big punch early, Joan showing off her defensive skills to bob and weave her way out of danger, while drilling in two jabs to the abs of Kate.

The first big punch to land this round actually comes from Smalls, she lands a left hook after sidestepping Kate to the blondes left, pounding it into the stunning face of the Sports Illustrated model.

Allowing her to work back Kate behind her guard into a corner, while Kate shows off her own defensive skills to block most of the punches to her face, she is getting hooked around her ribs well enough to make her clinch up.

Referee breaks the fighters apart, with Kate coming back at Joan, catching her with a straight to the body as she dips a right from the brunette.

Back comes Upton as she drives Joan to the ropes, Joan though uses her left forearm to open up space to land two uppercuts to the body of Kate to make her retreat.

If Kate thought she was going to have an easy time it is proving the opposite, Joan presses back Kate along the ropes with her punches between the mitts of Kate.

Who looks like she wants to scream at the bell, Kate has a dark expression on her face as Nicole tells her to up her work rate, batter her opponent back to show her whose boss.

Round 6:
Coming out looking more aggressive, dipping under a straight to work the body of Joan, nearly headbutting her in the chin as she drives forwards with her powerful legs working hard.

Needing to push Kate a little to move into space, Joan lands some sweet jabs to the cheeks of the smaller fighter, moving around the outside as Kate stalks her.

That timing of Kate can simply be prefect, like right now as she times Joan moving to the left, smacking her across the cheek with a right cross, opening up Smalls to a left/right combo to her face.

Backed onto the ropes, Joan is covering up as a flurry of punches comes her way, Kate definitely finding that extra gear now as she sticks to pounding the body of the older fighter.

Who pulls Kate into a clinch, Kate making it uncomfortable by pressing her head under the chin of Joan, the referee struggles to break them apart, they do so with a shove.

The final part of the round sees Joan smartly keep Kate at the end of her jab, both landing some stiff jabs through holes in the others guard up till the bell rings to end the round.

Getting a nod from Nicole, that's what the Lookout! Corner wanted to see, across the ring By Rebecca now needing to remind Joan what the Girls Friday team want to see from her.

Round 7:
Keeping Kate more at arms length to start, Joan moves side to side with her jab smacking Kate in her face, some blood starts to run from a cut on Upton's nose as she takes a jab/straight square onto the bridge.

Kate though won't be deterred, her toughness is part of her legacy and tonight it is on show as she dips under a straight after taking another two clean punches to the face, she gets inside to bully back her opponent towards a corner.

Once there Joan quickly stifles any work from Kate with a clinch, both hiss at the other as tempers are starting to boil, referee breaks them up as Joan moves into space.

Where she is doing a good job of controlling the tempo for the most part, Kate does have some success getting in closer to work, mostly though she is being kept towards the ropes, that cut on her nose a bullseye for Smalls to target.

In the final seconds of the round Kate dips under a right cross, landing a left under the ribs before a right lands perfectly on the liver of Joan, whose face curls up with her in real pain.

Luckily for Joan the bell goes as she holds her stomach, Eva quick to put an ice pack on it, trying to ease the pain her fighter is in, Rebecca tells Joan to box defensively for the next round, shake off the shot before she goes back on the attack.

In the Lookout! Corner the mood is the polar opposite, Kate is looking relaxed surprisingly after losing another round, it could be while she lost the battle in the round she has landed the blow to win the war.

Round 8:
While Joan heads out to fight, that liver shot is still bothering her, Kate quickly swats her jabs away as if they are nothing so she can square up to Joan on the inside.

Two hooks to either side of the body has Joan's knees shaking, ANOTHER RIGHT TO THE LIVER SENDS JOAN DOWN TO ALL FOURS!

Kate raises her fists into the air as she heads to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Joan spits out her gumshield so she can breath easier, 5...6...7.. She looks at Kate with a few tears running down her cheeks, 8...9...10 Joan is counted out!

Winner Kate Upton KO Round 8

After:
She was made to work for it tonight but Kate Upton reigns supreme, the "Queen" smiles as she tilts her head back to look at the ceiling of this legendary venue.

The crowd chant Kate's name as she starts a lap of honour inside the ring, enjoying the crowds reaction as she blows kisses to the crowd, nudging Joan out the way like some piece of trash with her foot when she gets near her beaten rival.

Rebecca rushes over to Joan with Eva to check on her, icing up her body as Rebecca stares daggers at Kate, they were never friends when they fought, seeing how Kate treated her fighter has Rebecca looking ready to give Kate a piece of her mind.

Instead as Eva shakes her head to tell Rebecca not to do it, the coach takes a deep breath and tries to make light of the situation "well Joan I guess you expect me carrying you out of here" Joan replying "aren't you too old for that?" A cheeky grin on her face till Rebecca taps Joan's stomach and Rebecca is the one laughing.

Helping up Joan so they can help her to her corner, Rebecca can be heard telling her "you did good tonight kid, that's just the way it goes at this level, one little mistake suddenly becomes a mountain of a one, Kate is one of the greats and you controlled her more tonight then she did you" Joan thanks Rebecca for the kind words as she doesn't look as gutted about the loss.

Though that might change as Kate gets her arm raised, Kate yells "I'm simply the best here! In America! Hell the world! Never bother to fight me again!" Staring at Joan for that last part.

Joan just scowls back at Kate, she isn't in a state to argue with Kate right now, instead she has to make a retreat tonight, Rebecca telling her "you'll beat her ass next time, I know it and she does deep down" Eva agreeing with a big smile.

In the ring the winner poses for the cameras as if on a photoshoot for a center fold of a magazine, hands on her hips and right foot raised up on her toes, a wink on her face as she even with a cut on her nose and some swelling around her cheeks, she still is good looking enough for men to whistle for her.

Stepping out the ring with Nicole, Kate says "this place is so fitting for someone like me, remind me to box here more often" making Nicole grin as she clearly has some joke on her mind but let's it go as Kate proved herself once again simply one of the best in the world.
